"You'll pay for this...," I remarked in a cold, quiet voice, as rage filled me, turning my gaze towards him, "I swear...I will kill you."
He killed all those innocent people, and clearly derived pleasure from doing so...and it's because of him that Arts died last time...I won't let him get away this time...
"Hah, you are welcome to try," He scoffed confidently, opening his third eye with a smirk.
"We can do that too," Retorted Lusk with a frown, as he and I opened our third eyes as well.
"You will not get away like you did before...I'm going to kill you, Hacte Routh!" I declared furiously, as purple flames swirled around me, fire mixed with Obliteration Magic.
I then sprinted towards him rapidly and swung a couple of punches at him, which he blocked and evaded, before I leapt off to the left as Lusk fired a couple of water projectiles at him, striking his left shoulder and grazing his left arm as he evaded to the right.
I fired out purple flames from my hands at him, which struck the top of his right shoulder and eliciting a scream of pain from him...my Obliteration Magic is weak in scale, so I combine it with my flames instead of using it by itself...the result is purple flames that are a lot harder to put out than regular flames, burn A LOT faster and more intensely that regular flames, and are also far more painful than regular flames.
He extended his claws with a pained grimace and slashed off the flesh on his shoulder with a yell of agony, before stopping the bleeding with an enraged glare...I remember, he can use Corruption Magic...he used it on Riefe last time...
I then shot towards him and evaded as he swung his claws at me, which were wrapped in swirling wind, he drove his other fist to my left, which I blocked with my left forearm. He then let out a cry of pain as Lusk fired a sharp, narrow and rapid water projectile at him, piercing through his left shoulder and disabling his left arm.
He gritted his teeth and let out an angry growl as he began to raise his leg, I swiftly responded by raising my knee and blocking his leg, before ducking as he swung his claws at me again. I then coated my fist in purple flames and swung a swift punch at the left side of his face, striking him with a resounding, scorching impact, searing off most of the skin on the left of his face, his teeth and bone partially visible.

"Ahhhhhh...you, how dare you-!" He exclaimed furiously, before being cut off as Lusk snuck up behind him and wrapped his tentacles around him, the curved spikes on them digging into Hacte's skin, "You lowly weaklings, let go of me!"
"If we're weaklings, what does that make you?" I inquired coldly, as I charged up a purple flame heat beam between my hands.
"N-no, stop-...ahhhhhhh!!!" He screamed in agony, as Lusk abruptly and violently pulled his tentacles off of Hacte, the spikes that had pierced into him viciously tearing and ripping across his skin and flesh, blood splattering all around him as Lusk unrestrained him and sprang away, right as I fired my attack straight at the middle of his chest.
It struck him and sent him flying back, his back slamming onto a wall as my attack scorched through his body, the air ahead of him shimmering violently as I burnt a hole through the right side of his chest. I then stepped towards him, the light in his eyes starting to fade as blood poured out of his chest and mouth.
"Now you'll pay...I only regret that I could not give you a more painful death," I remarked, raising my hand and forming a large sphere of concentrated purple flames above me, swirling and blazing violently.
"N-no, I...I d-don't want to die!" He cried weakly, a look of desperation in his barely-conscious eyes.
"Did you think that all the people you killed wanted to die?" Inquired Lusk in disgust, "Do it, Prato."
"You don't need to tell me," I replied, as I flung the massive ball of purple flames at Hacte.
"No, no, I-I can't die here-!" He screamed, before his cries were drowned out by the roar of the flames, my attack spinning and blazing fiercely, before eventually dissipating, revealing that it had melted through the ground and wall significantly.
Something is wrong...
"You got him...I can't believe that he was able to kill everyone in the shelter while we were right outside the whole time," Said Lusk with a look of frustration.
"No...I don't think I got him. It felt like my attack struck him, but before it could scorch him to ash, it almost felt like he suddenly disappeared...," I replied with a frown.
"Right you are! Sorry, sorry, I know you two really wanted to kill him, and you did such a great job fighting him, but unfortunately, I still have some use for him, so...maybe next time? And I'd fight you myself, but...heh, well, you two aren't in my league, so it would be one-sided and boring," Came a voice from behind us.

We quickly spun around to see...a blonde head with a black ring floating above it leaving through a portal, a smirk on her face...
"Damn it!" I exclaimed in frustration, slamming my fist against the wall.
"Calm down, Prato, we should-," Lusk began, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Calm down? He killed Riefe, was responsible for Arts' death, and look inside, look at how many people he killed right under our noses! And yet, we failed to kill him and avenge all those deaths...how do expect me to calm down?" I snapped, my frustration boiling.
I swear, I will kill him, the next time I see Hacte Routh, he will be dead, I'll make sure of it...

"Huh, you two don't seem to be like the rest of the rabble," I remarked curiously, as I crushed the head of one of the Silvland troops and tossed the body aside.
I had just about wrapped up killing a small crowd of the Silvland troops by myself, when suddenly, two girls showed up, they appeared to be twins, maybe a couple of years older than me. One had black hair and twin swords, the other had white hair and a hammer with a long handle.
And just from the way they held their weapons, it was obvious that they were skilled, at least more so than the inept Silvland worms that I'd just finished crushing, who for some reason, had been declaring that I'm the reason for this attack. I see what Belia's trying to do here, and honestly...it's probably gonna work. But I can worry about that later...
"He kinda looks like Shiro, he must be the one," Remarked the black haired twin warily.
"Yeah, must be," Frowned the white haired twin.
"So, you know that imposter, do you?" I inquired with a smirk, before my expression turned dark and serious, "I'll take that to mean that you're my enemies, too."
"We've heard about everything you've done...we'll make you pay for what you did to Silvland and its people!" Declared the white haired twin.
Huh, the way she said that...
"Who exactly are you? The way you said that, it sounds like you're not a resident of Silvland," I remarked curiously.
"We were summoned to this world to stop the likes of you, and that's exactly what we plan to do!" Responded the black haired twin with a glare.
Huh?
"Hey, we don't need to tell him anything!" Interjected the white haired twin in a loud whisper.
I think I'm starting to get the picture...
"I see, Belia must have used her Divine Magic, huh," I surmised, entering Lazarus Mode, "And if she resorted to that, then I'm guessing you've got some degree of skill and power. I can guarantee that you guys are being used...but then, I don't really care, so I'll make this simple, this is my first and final warning...get in my way and I'll kill you."
"Not if we kill you first!" Snapped the white haired twin, flying up and swooping down towards me with her hammer raised, lightning crackling around it, while the other twin raced towards me with her blades poised.
Hey, now, they're pretty fast, especially the black haired twin, she's faster than me in my current form...but with my eyesight, it's child's play. I evaded the swing of the white haired twin's hammer by leaping forward and zipping towards the black haired twin, who swung one of her blades at me rapidly.
Right as the tip of the blade pierced the skin on my left arm, I used Teleport to appear behind her. Oh, my Healing Factor is suddenly active...I see, her blades are coated in poison, and a pretty potent one at that. That was some speed in her swing...but it's not fast enough to cut me...
"Hey, your poison isn't bad...but mine is better," I remarked ominously, as I slashed at her back with my claws, coating them in Hydra venom as I did, eliciting a scream of pain from her, before firing out a sonic blast from my mouth, sending her flying forward and crashing onto the other twin.
"Tch, he's good, we can't afford to hold anything back or we're finished," Growled the white haired twin...as the black haired twin stood up, perfectly fine.
Well, now...Hydra venom is supposed to kill a person within ten seconds...interesting, is she immune to poison?
"Huh, maybe I underestimated you two just a bit..this might be a bit more of a challenge than I expected...alright, then, bring it on," I remarked with an icy smile...

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
