"So...welcome to Chaos!" I greeted the two newbies, "Nice, now I have four sidekicks!"
"Since when am I your sidekick?" Remarked Shiro with a frown, before smacking my butt...hard.
Okay, I need to figure out a way to stop him from making this a habit...
"Didn't you die?" Gela asked Shiro with a look of intrigue.
"Oh, I'm very much alive...I can prove it to you later in my room...or even right now," He replied, in a not-so-subtle suggestive tone.
...how much lust does he have, anyway?
"Ahem...anyway, why don't you two introduce yourselves?" I suggested with a smile.
"Gela Sorr. Where can I find some people to tear apart? You said I can do as I please if I join you, right?" She asked eagerly.
Her bloodlust is on par with Shiro's regular lust...and that's saying a lot.
"Yeah, I did...I'm going to Platinberg with Shiro later, you can tag along and kill to your heart's content if you want," I replied as she stared at me with an expectant and impatient look on her face.
"That sounds great," She smirked slightly, with a dark bloodthirsty look in her eyes.
"Are you sure we can trust her?" Shiro inquired skeptically, before turning to her, "How do we know that you don't have any lingering feelings towards the Rustlands?"
"Lingering feelings? What do you mean?" She asked with a confused look on her face.
"You know, as in, like...people you care about, parents, friends or whatever."
"Hm...no, not really. My parents don't approve of my...preferences when it comes to how I fight, they keep insisting that I need help...they're so annoying, they can die for all I care. I guess I did have one friend, but she's dead now...as for everyone else I know, I don't really care either way what happens to them," She replied after mulling it over.
I like the way her mind works...she definitely has the most chaotic mindset of all my sidekicks, and most impressively for a human, she doesn't get easily emotionally attached to things...
"What about you, Demon? Go on, introduce yourself," I remarked with a smile...I really want to see what he's capable of.
"Very well...I am Druj, I am a Demon capable of using Obliteration Magic," He replied with a slight bow.
Perfect, I hoped that'd be the case, since it's the most tangible of the Demonic Magic techniques and will give me the best visible indication of what combined Dark and Light Magic would look like. Obliteration Magic was the most common Demonic Magic, followed by Chaos Magic, Alchemic Magic, Corruption Magic and Mimic Magic.

Admittedly, the last one was definitely the least useful, I should have given them a better fifth Magic type...but at that point, I was so mentally exhausted after having created so many thousands of monsters that I just wanted to get the process over with so I went with whatever first came to mind.
"So, Demons have names?" Shiro asked curiously.
"Yeah, I gave names to all the Demons, there were only two hundred of them in total, so it wasn't very hard. Not like the Vampires, I gave up on naming them really early, there were over a thousand of them to begin with," I explained sheepishly, before turning to Druj, "Now, then, since you possess a body that can use Light Magic, I'd like you to join me. Just like my other sidekicks, you'll be free to do as you please. However, I won't force you to join me, this is completely your choice."
"Stop calling me a sidekick," Sighed Shiro with an annoyed look.
"But it's better than underling or subordinate, right?" I countered with a smirk.
"I...suppose so. Fine, whatever, it doesn't really matter anyway," He replied, rolling his eyes.
"Anyway...what do you say, Druj?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow.
"It would be an honor to serve you," He replied affirmatively.
"Glad to hear it, welcome to Chaos! Now, then...let's see what you can do. Light Magic is primarily used for healing, and it's also quite an effective weapon against monsters...try mixing in Light Magic into an Obliteration Magic blast," I suggested eagerly.
"Very well, I shall try," He replied, forming a sphere of Obliteration Magic, which was a mix of purple and a light golden glow, instead of just purple, before a look of alarm appeared on his face, "I cannot control this, it is going to explode!"
"Maybe we should have done this outside...quick, fire it in here!" I instructed, as I swiftly opened a portal using Dimensional Magic.
He nodded and fired it towards the portal, the blast disappearing through it just in time.
"I do not think it is possible to mix Light Magic into my Obliteration Magic, or at the very least, it will be very difficult...they are two contradictory types of magic," Remarked Druj with a shake of his head.
"So, we're they trying to repel each other and separate, like magnets?" Inquired Shiro with a look of interest.
"Maybe...but it's too early to give up! Let's go outside the walls, find an empty space and keep experimenting with this," I declared in excitement, "We'll try mixing the two in different proportions and see if that makes a difference...ooooh, this is gonna be so much fun!"

"We're not going to Platinberg today, are we?" Sighed Shiro with a look of exasperation and disappointment.
No...probably not...

Point-of-View: Kuro Black
———————————————————————————
Finally, back home...after I used that Chaos Magic spell to 'restore' the three that were possessed by Demons, I found myself at the center of the attention of way too many people...I mean, yeah, I'd been in a coma for like three months, and waking up after that much time was bound to attract attention...but come on, people, I just got out of a coma, give me some space!
After that attention started to finally die down, I was summoned to the castle, since the king and Erhtaph wanted to address me. And...it didn't go how I expected. Erhtaph was the same as usual, but the king kinda ticked me off. The previous king was way better, he was so...unremarkable and generic. But the current king, former Prince Ocroed Rustlands, was a bit of a tool.
While he didn't say anything directly, he was clearly hinting and implying that he was blaming this attack on me...Shiro had been a part of this attack too, he'd somehow managed to survive my last battle against him...though I was still having some trouble believing that. And okay, fine, I could justify me taking the blame for that fight, I did break into the Rustlands and cause a fair bit of vandalism back then...but come on, how was this attack my fault!?
The closest he got to directly accusing me of being the reason for this attack was when he brought up the fact that my increase in power has coincided with the increase in strife for the Rustlands...I countered with the fact that the my increase in power has coincided with the Rustlands' rise to becoming the most powerful nation in the world, after having been bottom of the barrel about three years ago.
He then brought up the fact that Bronztan wasn't attacked, only we were...and before I could think of a good retort, Erhtaph hurriedly ended the meeting before things could get any more heated, but I don't think this is the end of my problems with the current king...well, it's fine, I have plenty of experience in dealing with arrogant superiors. And if nothing else, he's better than the rulers of Silvland and Bronztan.
Platinberg is pretty much dead as a nation now, and the constantly changing nation to the west in this world seems to be a site of bad luck lately...when it was Goldway, it was blown to hell, then it become The Valaque Empire and was again, blown to hell, and most recently, it become the Goldlands...which has kinda been abandoned.
I mean, they were attacked by Demons and the Rustlands hadn't done anything in response, it had been a month since then. According to Az, who had been teleported there by Belia during the attack, there weren't many people still around, all the structures they'd built were in shambles or broken apart, and the lively trade had completely died down.
There'd been about a hundred thousand people there before the Demons were unleashed upon them, but Az only saw a few thousand. He got back to the Rustlands by finding some blank parchment in one of the abandoned stalls and made a teleportation spell to get back, by which the attack was over.
Anyway, I'll worry about all that later, right now, I'm kinda exhausted...yeah, I know I'd been asleep for three months, but I could use some sleep right now. Before that, though...
"So...what's got you all awkward and fidgety, Cat Girl?" I inquired with a soft smile, as we got back to the apartment.
She'd been with me for most of the time after my fight with Belia, but she'd barely said anything and kept averting her gaze with a guilty look on her face.
"I-it's nothing," She replied, looking down.
"You're acting pretty sus...what, did you cheat on me while I was asleep or something?" I teased jokingly, walking over and poking her cheek.
"What? No, of course not!" She exclaimed with an indignant frown.
"Yeah, I know...so, then why the guilty look?" I asked, even though I knew the answer.
"Isn't it obvious...? I...I hurt you...I almost killed you...I-!" She began, tears forming in her eyes as she looked up at me, before I cut her off with a kiss, embracing her tightly.
And after a couple of seconds, she responded, kissing me back fervently, her lips massaging mine as her hands ran through my hair, before we pulled away to catch our breath.
"Finally...it's been like, eight or nine months since the last time I kissed you, I've missed you so much," I whispered gently, as I nibbled on her earlobe and she shivered slightly, "You have nothing to feel guilty about, you got that?"
"I...okay. And...welcome back, Kuro...I missed you too."

How A Villain Builds A Kingdom
READ THE WARNING Amadeus Devereux was born into a rich and powerful household. But he did not pursue power like his brothers because of his love for art, flowers, and poetry. Until one day, a servant arrived in the garden to see Amadeus smiling as if he was looking at a flower. Only this time, Amadeus was looking at the mangled corpses of two gardeners. ————————— Set in a fantasy world where magic exists, follow Amadeus as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Will he be able to feel emotions as others do? This is a novel that I wrote because I got tired of all the tropes that had transmigration, regression, deus-ex machina, etc. where everything that makes the main character reach the top is left to luck. —————————

In Helberion, a small group of scientists, struggling to make a major scientific breakthrough, is being hampered by assassination and sabotage. Is this the work of the enemy of mankind?
