"Shh!"
Dara hushed Elder Fu who was about to start talking before waving the rest of the group inside where he placed a sealing formation on, ensuring that no sound from within could be heard outside but the exact opposite the other way around…
They all entered the home on the ground floor where they held a meeting;
"I want everyone to be awake and alert at all times throughout our stay here, and anyone that needs rest must sleep with one eye open…" Min Hong spoke;
"There is something more sinister about this place other than its nigh emptiness… Plus those men looked way less sad and worried about the current situation happening within the tribe…"
"Are you saying-"
"Yes… There might be more to this than we already know, and if it is as I think it is, then we might be chasing our tails throughout our stay here, or if we are unlucky lose our lives…"
"Lose our lives, what are you talking about?"
Gong Yi and the rest of the group were stunned by what Min Hong was saying, since the only thing strange about this place to them was its emptiness which was caused by the kidnappings, and was the main reason they were here…
"Nope, there is something more to it than we know… Something sinister, and though I can only faintly sense it, it's still there, and I plan on finding out what it is…" Min Hong added;
"But for now, throughout our stay here, we must act normal at all times and whenever anyone spots something strange, do not react to it or investigate alone…"
"Find about two or four others before going in…" Min Hong added before sitting back into the dinning seat…
Gong Yi then stepped up and split the room to all of them, and for safety and security reasons, the rooms at the frontal edge of the ground floor was given to Gu Ming and Elder Fu…

The ones on the Middle floor was taken by Tong Tian and Xiao Gui, whilst the rooms at the back edge of the residence was occupied by Mao My and Yu Min, then in the middle floor was Ki Ting and Gong Yi, then the penthouse was left for Min Hong and the Princess…
Min Hong placed a protective barrier over the place and after inspecting that everywhere was safe, then they finally relaxed…
Half an hour later, about 10 scantily dressed ladies came to deliver their dinner before leaving…
Meanwhile…
After Min Hong's group left with Elder Ken, the Left Grand Elder who was a man that physically looked 50 turned to the Tribe Leader and bellowed;
"I thought I warned you all not to bring another group into this tribe!" The Tribe Leader and his wife shrunk in fear when the Left Grand Elder yelled at them;
"We didn't call them, we were told they were nomad experts who heard we needed help whilst they were passing through the Jun Empire…" The Tribe Leader quaked in fear;
"You two must make a trip to the Dogon Empire, and to the Chun Super Clan, how them this and tell them you want to meet with the Emperor!"
"When you finally see him, tell him the power of demons have sensed the bloodline descendant of the 'Dawn Sovereign', and it is making them restless…"
"When you have done that, tell him to pass any orders he has for us…"
The Left Grand Elder growled as his eyes glowed, shining with some mysterious purple light until the same type of glow reflected in the eye of man and wife duo…
The light then dimmed but the man and wife had a lost look in their eyes as they nodded their heads and left for the central mansion;

"Right, did you sense it too?"
"Yes, I did… The bloodline of the 'Dawn Sovereign'… It calls out to me, trying to force me to show myself!"
"Yes, though I don't think he knows yet, and that is why we must report this to the Emperor as soon as possible so we know how he wants us to handle the situation…"
"We can't allow these guys to come in the way of our plans…"
"Make sure you pull their attention away from this mansion at all costs… Do you understand me!?" The Left Grand Elder stared at the Right Grand Elder
"Yes commander, I will get to it right now…"
"But what do we do about that Ken, I suspect he was the one who secretly sent out the call for help…"
"Don't worry, I have planted the 'Haunted Mark' on him, I can track his movement and listen on in any conversation he is having with anyone…"
"Though, I can't use it now, to avoid being sensed by that filthy human child, but eventually, he would also be sacrificed to His will…" The Left Grand Elder explained;
"But go now… Make sure those two filthy rags are preparing adequately for their journey…"
"Yes commander!"
The other middle aged man who they claimed to be the Right Grand Elder bowed to the supposed Left Grand Elder as he went straight into the central mansion to do as instructed…
"You-" The supposed Left Grand Elder turned towards the diplomat;
"Go bring more people from outside the tribe, and if you can't find any more, bring any one of the remaining families within the tribe…"
"It should suffice as long as they are a family of three… That way, we won't have any loose ends…"
He ordered as the middle aged man who looked as fit as a warrior at his prime also bowed before going the way Min Hong's group came in…
"To think one of the major obstacles to our plans will show up at our doorstep voluntarily, it seems the fate of this world had been sealed! Haha-haha-haha"
The Left Grand Elder spoke and laughed with the voice of a 5,000 year old despite being in the body of a middle aged man of about 50 years, before turning around and entering the mansion to the immediate right of the central mansion…
Meanwhile…
Leagues away from the Village of Sang…
Back at the Dogon Empire, within the Desert Sun Sect…
"Alright people, it is time to finish our mission…"
Rin Chen who was looking through the windows of the room they were assigned to in District 21 spoke to the rest of the group;
"Are you ready?"
He asked as Ta Mi who was supposed to deliver the message stood and nodded as they both headed straight for the Core District with Su San, Pi Xi and Bai Fan whilst the rest of the experts were left behind…

Jalan Suram : The 100 Fire Holders
"Why us?" Still staring at the unusually stationary fire of the candle he was holding, Agung voiced the questions in our mind. "Out of 2 million people living in this city, why are we the chosen ones?" As if on cue, the eerie laughter of children could be heard above us. Holding our own candle tightly, we resolved to ignore them and continued our discussion. It was a matter of life or death after all. More than half of the initial participants had fallen and the building became more crowded as the result. There were now more ghosts than the living and each step was filled with danger from the unknown. Either we solved all the questions now or we would become another addition to the ghost camp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was one thing Novita found out after she accepted an invitation to a suspicious event from a seemingly legal company. Crowded didn't exactly mean safe. As more and more variables were added to the dangerous ritual, the higher the risk of death. At the same time, the higher the risk was, the better the rewards for it. But in the end, was it worth it? Note : This series was posted on scribblehub.com under the same name. Forced Immortality
Guy dies, transmigrates and then dies some more. Contrary to what you might think, this is actually a story about an OP protagonist. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things to keep in mind before reading: - I have never written a story before so this will most likely end up being pretty bad. - I have done zero planning for this story. - This is mostly something i wanted to try out in my freetime so updates are going to be sporadic at best. - Chapter length will fluctuate until i figure out this whole writing thing. - I have no idea if there will be romance. Might add it in the future if this story somehow doesn't end up as a failure. - There will be some stuff from the Star Wars Universe but this is NOT a Star Wars fanfiction. - The story will be pretty explicit in the gore department so if your squeamish, beware. - This story will be a slow burn. - If any of the above changes, i'll update the synopsis and i might make a seperate chapter just detailing these points. - Last point, English isn't my native language so have some mercy on my poor soul, ok? If none of the above has scared you away then i invite you to join me on this catastrophic ride. It'll probably be kinda fun.....hopefully... This story is also on Scribblehub and Webnovel.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I have taken inspiration from waaaay tooo many novels that I liked, and while there aren't any specific ones that I based this upon there are a few that I definitely took inspiration from like : the author's POV, chronicles of the heavenly demon [you can probably see where this inspired me ;)], etc.
