"A hunch?"

"Yeah, a hunch… I figured that at least 90 percent of all the huge businesses within this city would belong to one of the four Empires, and since I haven't heard of you before, I knew you couldn't be from the East Wind Empire, and neither could you be from the Dogon Empire either…"

"Thus, I figured you'd either be from the Jun or Guan Empire and that was why I approached you…"

"But that doesn't show that I am a grand elder of the Empire either?"

"Would an ordinary Elder of your Empire own such a wealthy business?"

"Even the richest of all Super Clans within the Dynasty wouldn't be able to afford the capital of such a massive private business…"

"But in all fairness, I wasn't specifically targeting you; if I had met with the Jun Empire, then I would have done a deal with them, but since I happened to meet you instead, I will just have to meet with the Jun Empire later…"

"Did you also sell a slot to these Super Clans of the Dogon Empire?" The Old Man asked;

"The slots into the inheritance ground is not the only trading chip I have in my possession, there are several other things I could trade with that are even better than that the slot…" Min Hong replied and the Old Man thought he was merely boasting until he added;

"But whatever I trade with depends on how valuable the connection I am forming is, and these Super Clans are not worth a slot of the inheritance grounds…"

"You on the other hand is a different scenario, since I am dealing with an entire hemisphere which contains numerous Super Clans…" Min Hong explained;

'This kid is too wise well over his years…' The Old Man thought to himself;

"But aren't you afraid someone my target you with all these wealth you carry?"

Min Hong simply smiled and lazily responded; "To be able to pull out two tags without breaking a sweat, don't you think there would be others from where that came from?"

"Or what makes you think I haven't made a deal with other hemispheres such as yours?" Min Hong bluffed;

"Only a fool would be willing to target anyone with connections more powerful than any single Empire within this Dynasty…"

Min Hong's tone turned a little bit wicked and sinister at this point, and the Old Man believed him…

Just the tag from the Long Super Clan alone was worth being an ally with him, not to talk of the others he might possibly have;

"Guan Ji…"

"Unh?"

"That is my name… Guan Ji, and I am the East Grand Elder of the Guan Empire…" The Old Man answered;

"Alright, Old Man Chauffeur, I will keep that in mind…"

Min Hong replied with a grin whilst the brows of the Old Man twitched intensely at Min Hong's form of addressing him, but he knew it couldn't be helped and chucked it to the fact that Min Hong was still a teenager and gave a helpless chuckle;

"Take this…"

The Old Man passed Min Hong the two tags and another palm sized but round shaped tag, and when Min Hong received it, he realized the tag was very light but sturdy to the feel…

There was a 'Guan' character etched on one side and the 'East' character etched on the other side of the tag;

"Alright, I guess this deal has been concluded then…"

Min Hong stood up and was imitated by Gong Yi who was already lost within their conversation from the very start;

"Prepare your representative and have him come meet me at my residence a day before the opening of the inheritance grounds…"

"As for my own tag, you will get it in at most three years when I finally ascend and take over my grandfather's duty…" Min Hong added whilst Jihao the assistant left the room;

"Great… It was nice getting to know and forging an alliance with a person with great ambitions…"

"Well, I guess our spirits and fate aligns with one another…" Min Hong added with a smile before shaking the Old Man's hand to seal the deal as the assistant walked in;

"Your ride awaits you, young masters…"

She said with a lovely tone whilst fluttering her eyelashes at Gong Yi, something both the Old Man and Min Hong noticed…

"I am very sorry I won't be able to see you off, I have to start preparing for the inheritance grounds right away, but Jihao would show you to your carriage, and you can consider our services free whenever you are around…"

"That's fantastic… Thank you Old Man Chauffeur, see you in a few months…" Min Hong added before leaving with Gong Yi and Jihao…

They got to the ground floor in no time, and their carriage was waiting with the only difference being the change in driver…

"Erm, sorry…" The assistant stretched her hand to call their attention as Min Hong turned to ask;

"Do you need something Miss Jihao?"

He asked but the girl held her hand back whilst her blush intensified as she stole some glances at Gong Yi who though liked the girl and was interested in her, but simply had too many mind boggling questions at the moment that he couldn't even respond to his feelings…

"No, I'm sorry… Safe journey…"

She quickly blurted before scuttling back into the building whilst the Old Man who was watching from the window of his office smiled at the scenario…

The carriage began to move and when it reached a considerable speed, Gong Yi asked;

"What just happened in there?"

"What do you mean brother?"

"A lot of things happened in there, so I will need you to be a little more specific…"

"I meant forming a good connection with the Guan and East Wind Empire…"

"Oh, that… There are some things that is better experienced firsthand than being told…"

"You will only come up with more questions if I answer this question of yours, thus I think it is better you experience them in person…" Min Hong answered;

"You should know that the Dogon Empire doesn't have a particularly great relationship with the East Wind Empire right?"

"I am no bumpkin brother, of course I know… Don't worry, this wouldn't affect you or the sect leader or the sect and neither would it affect the Empire." Min Hong confidently reassured with a smile...

"But that doesn't changed the fact that you just lied to him…"

"Eh? What are you talking about?" Min Hong chuckled lightly;

"I didn't lie; I only promised him a slot into the inheritance grounds in seven months, and that is exactly what he is going to get." Min Hong added with a smug grin…
