The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 480

"Are you okay?" Min Hong asked;
"I already told you I can't sleep if you are not here with me…" The princess placed the cup to the side table;
"Come to bed…"
She added as Min Hong eagerly slipped into the sheets and tickled the Princess, prompting her to giggle sheepishly…
They both had another half an hour romantic moment before they both went to sleep…
Meanwhile…
In a place leagues away from their current position was a massive clan…
The land mass available to this clan could only be describes as 'As far as the normal eyes could see', and bang in the center of this clan was a massive residence which covered at least 40 acres of land…
This 40 acre land was actually an island, and a massive four corner wall that covers at least 39 acres of this landscape was built, and within these walls were numerous residences in the form of over 40 different houses…
Each of these house were massive on their own and were by all standards worthy of being called mansions, except the houses themselves had no walls or fence, and they faced one another from the left to the right and vice versa…
One the left was another mansion even grander and bigger than the rest of the 20 some mansions on its wing and it was the only mansion with a wall, and a gate, and at the gage was a plaque that read; 'Left Grand Elder'…
On the right side was an exact replica of this left wing, and it also had a plaque that read; 'Right Grand Elder'…
These gated mansions were position in a way that they were situated at the deepest end of this entire 39 acre landscape, and both of these gated mansions were facing a castle right in between them, like a person trying to separate a fight between two people by standing in between them, and this castle took up all the gigantic space between the residence of the Left and Right Grand Elders of this massive clan…
They all had red concrete-slated roofs, with the buildings themselves being white in color, bringing out the grandeur and intent of a menacingly wealthy clan…
This castle was two stories high, and because of its unique size of this castle which looked like three mansions stacked atop one another, the top mansion of this castle not only overlooks the entire 39 acres of land effortlessly, but it also gives a good view of the entire land owned by the clan…
Moving from this castle towards the normal gateless mansions, there was a massive garden separating the first ten mansions on both sides…

Then a massive library that radiated a very unique feel of ancientness separated the eleventh to the fifteenth mansions from one another, and finally a massive academy which [though was small with respect to its name] was reserved for the best of the best talents in the entire clan which was as vast as a normal eye could comprehend…
Then there was a massive red steel gate which closed this entire 39 acres of land, and it also had a grand and massive plaque hung over it that said;
'Xi Super Clan'
Yeah, this was the main residence where the Clan Leader of the Xi Clan and his family, the two Grand Elders of the Xi Clan and their families and some other high ranked officials and elders of the Xi Super Clan resided…
The top mansion of the castle belonged to Xi Kong; the current Patriarch of the Xi Clan, and it was his personal chambers which had a training area, cultivation spot, library, massive bedroom, and Vault, all separated by a curtain on all sides, except that these curtains had several unique and mysterious runes embroidered onto them...
Today however, he was in his cultivation spot meditating when a calm and serene elderly voice drifted past the curtain;
"Patriarch, the commanders just arrived, and Old Bai is here to meet with you…"
The old lady who seemed to be the patriarch's personal servant spoke in a tone that wasn't interruptive or disturbing, but still audible enough, and that would signify the reason why she held such an important position in the entire clan…
The young man opened his eyes and a beam of light shot out of it before vanishing just about five feet from his position…
He stood up and walked out of his chambers as he met four men all dressed in perfect, and tactical battle armors with dragons etched onto it, and if one who was weaker looked at them, the person would feel like they were standing right in front of a pissed of dragon which had just caught the mortal who stole its egg…
But the moment this young man who looked to be in his early thirties with a mark on his forehead appeared on the hall way, these four commanders dropped to their knees, and gave a very curt and respectful bow, but the man simply walked past them as he spoke;
"Tell me you have good news…"
"Patriarch, we have managed to anger the Guan Empire and I think they should be at the tipping point of going to war with the Dogon Empire…"

One of the commanders whose battle armor was silvery in color announced as they all stepped into the middle mansion which was where the two wives of Patriarch Xi Kong and his kids lived, and then Patriarch Xi looked towards a certain chamber which was locked, except for what seemed to be the shadow of a woman within and a maid standing at the entrance…
Patriarch Xi beckoned on the maid who scuttled over as fast as her legs could carry;
"How long has she been in there?"
"Patriarch, madam has always visited the chamber daily, cleaning and rearranging it by herself and also forbidding us from lending a hand or even stepping into it…"
When Patriarch Xi heard this, his eyes reddened significantly, and his expression turned solemn;
That was his second and younger wife within that chamber, and that chamber belonged to his most favored and youngest daughter; Xi Mei, who was slaughtered by Min Qing…
He took some second to adjust his emotions with the clearing of his throat;
"North Commander, have you managed to find out the background of that kid?"
"Not yet Patriarch Xi, but we are making slow progress!"
The Neon colored battled armored North Commander blurted;
"Why the slow progress!?"
Patriarch Xi's voice rose slightly as all four commanders blanched in fear;
"Patriarch, the Desert Sun Sect still refuses to divulge any information on the his background claiming that they are also as baffled as we are in discovering it!"
"That Jin Ning and his Jin Supper Clan; they think they have what it takes to refuse the orders of our Xi Clan, Hmph!"
"East Commander, when the battle begins, make sure they are the first to be wiped off the map!"
Patriarch Xi bellowed at a man clad in an emerald colored battle armor;
"As you have commanded, Patriarch Xi…"
"So what progress have we made so far in learning his background?"
"Patriarch, I have contacted my sources at the Sunfire City and they said when the city watch first caught glimpse of them, they seemed to be coming from the general direction of the East Wind Empire…"
"But so far, we don't know if they are from the Empire itself or simply some clans or tribes around the Empire…"
"Find that out… Send word to the East Wind Empire and find any information they have about those two…"
"Patriarch, according to our sources, the East Wind Empire seemed to have sent some experts to arrest them for reasons we don't know, but all the experts they sent over seemed to have vanished into nothingness…"
"What!?"
"Do you manage to get any information on these experts!?"
"Not much Patriarch, they were claimed to have lodged in an inn within the Sunfire City, and apparently, the owner of the Inn said they suddenly flew out the roof of her inn in chase of something, destroying everything in the process…"
"She also claimed to have seen at least three other figures chase follow in their directions, and from the little information we got from her, she said these three figures came from within the Dogon Empire…"
"That means they were one of ours, I want to know who they are and find them!"
"We tried Patriarch, but she was requesting for an exorbitant amount as well as a guarantee of her safety before she can divulge the identities of these figures…"
"Send a troop to go fetch her, and refurbish the entire inn, I want to meet her in person!"
"See what they have reduced my Ping'er to, I will have my vengeance on those kids' entire family, or tribe or clan, or whatever hell hole they crawled out of!"
The Patriarch was already raging at this point, and unknowingly the lady within the chamber who happened to be Xi Ping; Xi Mei's mother heard the ruckus and stepped out, and she and the Patriarch's group shared gazes, but she simply cried and ignored them as she rushed into her own chambers causing Patriarch Xi Kong's rage to begin to fester like yeast, swelling more and more, the more he seethed…
Then all of a sudden, the Patriarch released a huge sigh and asked calmly;
"West Commander, how are things going with the Imperials?" He turned to a man clad in white battle armor;
"They have yet to make any move whatsoever…"
"But whilst we have managed to confirm that Chu Zong is truly dead and Chu Huang seems to have lost his Saint Stage powers, the mysterious figure seems to be the one who would support Chu Yang in continuing the reign of the Imperials…" The man added;
"Good, a piece of good news at last…"
"Alright, North Commander, find out the origins of those kids…"
"South Commander, tip the Guan Empire over that edge…"
"West Commander, continue to watch every moves the Imperials make…"
"East Commander, you now have a new mission!" Patriarch Xi commanded successively!
