The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 475

An explosion ensued as massive, thick, potent and liquid Qi erupted all over the youth as the barrier around him absorbed it before it actually shrunk into his body, and it was in that moment that the senses of the sleeping Min Hong finally lost touch with the unique familiar aura he was getting;
"Unh?"
Min Hong exclaimed without opening his eyes, as a curious frown appeared on his face;
Swish!
He sent his spirit sense rippling out, 15 miles in every direction, as he tried to reconnect with the familiar aura, but with no success…
"Ugh… Didn't master said he was going to get back in touch in five minutes?"
The youth mumbled as he whipped out the device plaque he used to contact his master earlier;
"It's been seven minutes and I haven't gotten any-"
The youth hadn't even finished his statement when the plaque in his hand began to pulsate with a rainbow light, he sent some Qi into the gem at the middle of the plaque and activated the multicolored light;
"Master, you said-"
The youth was about to complain to his master when the image of two contrasting figures appeared from within the plaque, and when he saw who it was, the rest of his statement burnt themselves into his throat, never to see the light of day, whilst his heart trembled like a EF-40 earthquake just ran through it…
"Is everything alright, this image seems frozen…"
One figure spoke to the short stubby round man beside him who happened to be Immortal Dian;
"Oi! Is your brain suffering seizures?"
The man bellowed so furiously that the entire image blurred slightly as the youth finally found his voice, but as he tried to speak, only three choking coughs came out;
Cough! Cough! Cough!
"Ahem… Good day Lord Seasons Sage!"
The youth blurted like a brand new cadet meeting the lieutenant general of a grand army…
"Hehe, it's alright kid…"
The other figure who was a slender, tall and young middle aged man chuckled slightly in response to the youth's reaction to seeing him;
"What is you name kid?"
"Ehm, sorry… Man Go at your service, Lord Seasons Sage!" The youth blurted with a face beet red out of sheer excitement;
"Great, how are you adjusting to the lower realms?"
"I-it's pretty suffocating down here, but the resistance here also seems pretty weak…" He replied;
"Good, have you masked your aura?"
"Yes, Lord Seasons Sage!"
"Fantastic, you are not to be seen by your target, and you are not to interfere with his life, you are simply the eyes of the Overlord and Overlady down there, so be sure to be subtle and secretive in your actions…"

"Whatever you wish shall be done, Lord Seasons Sage…"
"Good… You are to watch him from a safe location and always leave a distance of at least a hundred miles from him, and you shall use the 'Chaos Eye' technique to watch him always…"
"As you wish, Lord Season's Sage!"
"Alright, should you come across any problem, align five of those gems with any five stars and it would connect you directly to me…"
"Thanks, Lord Seasons Sage…" The youth added as he saw the other figure vanish from the vicinity of his master;
"Master, was that really Lord Seasons Sage?"
The youth asked, and though he asked calmly, Immortal Dian knew what would happen should he give Man Go the answer he was looking for, but in a bid to boost his morale on the crucial mission he had been sent on, he nodded;
Eee!
Man Go squealed in delight as all the fat in his body began to giggle, wiggle and shudder like a seal on ice fleeing from a polar bear…
"Oi! Keep it down!"
Immortal Dian facepalmed himself when he saw his disciple squealing like a frightened pig;
"Okay, you have achieved a great feat; not only have you seen what Lord Seasons Sage looks like and lived to tell the tale, but you have also spoken to him…"
"Now you might as well be the most popular disciple in the entire Deva Hall, and you have done your master proud, so zip it!"
Man Go was stunned by the sudden U-turn in his master's statement, but he would never allow that to spoil the joy or the mood he was currently in, and if he hadn't been instructed to stay subtle, he would have destroyed everything in a 10 mile radius with a shout of joy…
"This task is very important not only as important to our entire clan, but it would also determine if you would live to tell your seniors about your achievement or not…"
"But sadly, it would also determine my fate, the fate of the entire Deva Hall and everyone within, and that only makes me scared that the Overlord had chosen someone as unreliable as you to undergo such a delicate and sensitive mission…"
"So, if you mess this up, I will personally come fetch you and take you to the tomb of bells where you will suffer for 300 years!"
Immortal Dian bellowed and Man Go blanched in terror, causing Immortal Dian to nod and rub his beard in satisfaction…
Whilst Man Go might be unreasonable 99 percent of the time, whenever he was serious about something, it was always extremely hard to find someone in his power class who could better him at whatever he was doing, and this was the only reason why Immortal Dian chose him as his disciple, and the fact that he was a clown that keeps his old bones quaking in laughter most of the times…

There was a time when he was taking the entrance selection exam into the Deva Hall and one of his opponents in a one on one battle actually pissed him off;
Then everyone witnessing the battle saw Man Go go beet red from boiling anger as he seethed and seethed to the extent that he was looking like a stuffed puffer fish, and when everyone saw his swelling and redness reached its peak, and were expecting a massive lash out;
Puuuu! Man Go released a slow, strong and pungent fart that made his opponent choke and admit defeat…
"Yes master…"
Man Go toned down his excitement another notch as Immortal Dian nodded in satisfaction before giving him the carrot;
"You are allowed to eat from the first level of my spatial ring… Bye!"
Immortal Dian didn't wait to see the Man Go's reaction because he knew it would be something that would make him lose his cool when he was trying to be serious, but the sheer imagination of what Man Go was doing at the moment was enough for the Immortal to start laughing to himself…
Man Go on the other hand, stopped speeding through the sky and instead began to move at a very slow pace, pushing his neck forward and backward like a duck and making mundane sounds as he did so...
Looking at him from afar, one could really sum him up with a word; UNRELIABLE!
Meanwhile…
Seven days later…
Elsewhere…
"How is she?"
A lithe six foot tall sexy lady asked a much younger but adorably innocent little girl;
"It's getting worse…" The little girl replied;
"Hu!"
The lady sighed before nodding to the little girl who then opened the door as the aura of melancholy, regret and guilt wafted out of the room in huge waves…
The lady walked into the room which looked like it was made for someone very important due to the people living in the area…
There on the massive king sized bed of this room was a young girl with a very long flowing grey hair lying there unmoving and eyes that had been lost in thought ages ago…
It was like her thoughts had become her reality and she could no longer return to the land of the living;
"It has already been five weeks now, how long will you remain this way?"
The lithe lady came in and picked up a brush from the vain beside the bed, climbed onto the bed and began to straighten this girl's grey hair…
She continued to brush the girls hair with a strong sense of sympathy and empathy radiating from her, she was almost pitying the girl as she continued to speak to her, but no matter what she said, the girl's eyes never even blinked or twitched for once, as she looked like a being with no soul; just an empty human husk…
The lithe lady was Min Rou, and the little girl she met at the entrance was Qing Tan, and there was no need mentioning who the lost girl was…
"When would this stormy clouds and sad rain leave us?"
There were many people looking outside their window at the rain that was not falling but simply wetting and drenching the entire place, and not only was this rain tasting tear-salty, it also made anyone who walked under it feel a huge sense of loss and depression that most times pushed them to tears…
They had brought the Sect Leader over once who had tried to forcefully disperse the cloud only to see a black lightning descend from the stormy cloud and smash into him;
But whilst the Sect Leader was able to block the lightning, he fell prey to the dark emotions that was transmitted through the technique, and for days, the sect leader was sad and furious, until he was finally able to dispel it two weeks later…
All the disciples and members of the Hong Dynasty couldn't come outside to train because the emotions from the rain affected their mentality and most of them couldn't even leave District 21 because they would be struck by black lightning once they cross the reached the district gates...
As a result, they had no choice but to hole up in their respective dorms, whilst every disciple and elder from the other districts avoided the place like a plague…
But after about half an hour, someone abruptly burst into the room, startling Aunt Lin slightly as she was about to bellow angrily at the intruder but had to quickly change her expression when she saw who it was;
"What is it Little Qing?"
"Some core court disciples that left with Hong-ge just arrived!"
Cracka! Boom!
A deafening thunder bellowed through the sky scaring the entire sect as Aunt Lin looked down to calm Min Qing only to find out that she was nowhere to be found, and when she looked outside once again, Min Qing was already three miles into the sky, floating midair…

The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him.
