The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 427

"Well, he simply came downstairs and asked for anyone who was willing to guard his room and the people in it, and though, the experts downstairs fear his father, they are also proud people due to their own personal achievements in these lands..."
"Thus, not many people responded to his request..." Rin Chen revealed what he had learnt as Xiao Gui finished his statement;
"Knowing they were the ones in the room, we simply volunteered and got paid…"
Princess Cui and the girl's heard they boys' explanation and simply shook their head; "Isn't he worried that something might happen to us?" Pi Xi blurted;
"Hiring any random person to protect his belongings, I wonder how many times he has been duped?" Su San added, but Rin Chen simply answered;
"None…"
"Eh?"
Pi Xi and Su San were stunned whilst Rin Chen simply explained;
"If the crown prince of the Dogon Empire hired any random person to guard his belongings, do you think he would get duped?"
"Not if the person wants the entire force of the Empire hunting him down…" Pi Xi responded;
"Such a person would have nowhere to hide, and it won't take too long to find them and have them suffer miserably…" Su San chipped in;
"We have to leave room for the possibilities of him having found us out, that way, we won't be caught by surprise if that is exactly what's going on…"
The princess spoke more like and opinion rather than any must-do speech;
"I agree with her…"
"I don't think anyone can be as dumb as that without, especially when they are from these badlands which is filled with cunning people at every turn…" Xiao Gui added, but Pi Xi simply pouted;
"Are you saying we aren't good looking enough to sway any guy?"
She was a little dissatisfied that they weren't given any credit after pushing themselves out of their comfort zone to get some information;
"No silly…" Tong Tian grabbed her and hug her from the side as he spoke with a peck;
"If you could sway me, how much more that guy…" He flattered causing Pi Xi to snort; a deed that was betrayed by her blush;
"Moreover, if you guys haven't given such an information, we would never have been able to come to the realization that he might probably be baiting us… So, you guys did a great job no matter what angle you want to look at it from…"
Pi Xi didn't make any comment or obvious action, but they could tell she had been sated, and that was when Rin Chen received a solid jab from Su San who was pissed that he had no compliment or comment to add;

"Tong Tian, you can kill that guy if you want but first, I have to have his cock as a souvenir for flashing it in front of my woman…"
Rin Chen blurted as Su San also snorted because his comment came late, but not after blushing at him calling her 'His Woman'…
After about another ten minutes of net tactical discussion, everyone returned to their rightful positions with Tong Tian and Rin Chen standing guard at the entrance of the room whilst Xiao Gui returned downstairs to join Bai Fan who had already spread about thirty bugs all over the place eaves dropping on people's conversation…
Meanwhile…
About thirty miles off the Diamond Crust Inn…
Two groups of people were having a gruesome one-sided bloodbath…
On one side there were about a hundred experts with seventy of them being in the Dan Formation stage, and thirty others being in the nascent soul stage with a single leader who was in the saint stage…
On the other side, there were only about thirty people left, and they were all in the nascent soul stage, except for the leader who seemed to be at the Peak Nascent Soul stage…
"Fao Hai, what have I done to deserve all this?"
The Peak Nascent Soul leader bellowed at the Saint Stage expert floating who didn't even spare him another glance at all;
"We didn't want to cross you guys, which is why we decided to leave the center of the barren lands and move to the harsh outskirts, but still, you guys came all the way to find trouble with us…"
"I wonder how Gu Ming would react when he learns about what you have done here!?"
The leader spoke once again with a face flushed with bitterness as he looked through the pile of corpse surrounding him, most of whom were his men…
They had barely killed ten out of their opposition's men, but he had suffered a great loss of about 70 men, due to the fact that they were caught off guard...
They had even tried to flee immediately, but they were just too tired after being hunted for seven days straight, and now have eventually been cornered;
"You have no hope of survival Jun Tao…"
"The very person who can keep you alive was the one who sent me to come weed you out of this lands…" The Saint Stage leader; Fao Hai replied with a ridiculing smile;
"You were explicitly instructed not to attempt a breakthrough into the Saint stage, but you did…"
"You were told not to create any faction of yours, but you did…"
"Or did you think you we didn't know you were the one ratting us out to the Dogon Empire?" Jun Tao froze in shock s a realizations dawned on him;

"We thought that by placing all these restrictions on you, that you would be forced to leave the barren lands, but not only did you not leave despite our decision not to kill you based on how much you have done for the land; instead, you had to go break those restrictions which were placed there to protect your life…"
"You have no one to blame but yourself…"
"Anyways, after we are done with you, I will be taking that Mid Grade Gold Tier Sabre off your hands…"
"Hehe he, I am very sure you know that even those who are stronger than you have tried and failed!"
Jun Tao looked at the blood red sabre in his hand and replied Fai Hai with a ridiculing sneer;
"Oh you think so?"
"The one who will take it off your hands doesn't even match up to you in terms of cultivation alone…" Fao Hai added;
"What are you waiting for?"
"Get me my Sabre!"
Fao Hai bellowed as one of the experts on his side with a supposed Dan Formation stage cultivation came out with two battle axes in each hand, and just as everyone focused on the guy;
Puchi!
Splurt!
Groan!
The sound of a very lethal stab, the spurting of blood and finally the groan of Jun Tao grabbed the attention of everyone, and just as they looked over to see what had happened, they saw Jun Tao standing abnormally upright, like he had been hooked by something from behind, and then he staggered forward and fell to his knees before puking a mouthful of fresh blood with a painful groan…
Then someone walked out from his back and grabbed the sabre in his hands, before walking towards the Saint stage expert;
"You have done good…"
"You are now a fully-fledged member of our Diamond Crust Mercenaries…"
Fao Hai welcomed the betrayer whilst showing the gurgling Jun Tao a ridiculing sneer;
"Like I said, the one who would take it from your hands won't even come close to matching you in terms of cultivation alone…" He gloated whilst one of the men on Jun Tao's side bellowed;
"Huang Pi! Your will burn for what you have done!"
The man said as he summoned his Flame Dao and tried to burn the backstabbing Huang Pi, but Jun Tao managed to stop him on time;
"Teng! Leave him… He has revealed his true nature *Coughs whilst spurting blood*"
"Go find Gu Ming, and report everything that has happened here to him…"
Jun Tao managed to give out an order as the man named Teng stepped on his flying sword and bolted into the distance causing the rest of Fao Hai's men to panic…
They were truly not here on the order of Gu Ming; Gu Ya's father, and also the leader of the Diamond Crust Mercenaries, and this caused a bitter frown to appear on Fao Hai's face, but that only lasted for a single second, before a mischievous smile returned to his face and then yelled at Huang Pi;
"Why are you so sluggish!?"
"Hand over the sabre!"
Huang Pi fearfully scuttled over and handed the sabre over to Fao Hai who summoned his cultivation and channeled it into the sabre as the entire sky within a half a mile radius from him went blood red...
He then looked towards the fleeing Teng, and smiled evilly before slashing towards him; Whoosh! Everyone in the area saw the air in the atmosphere get sliced apart as the entire area began to stink with a putrid stench of blood…
Teng heard the sound of something slicing towards him and then looked back to see a thin arc of blood coming straight for him…
The attack arrived instantaneously, and then; Bang! A loud explosion rang out which stunned everyone and took Fao Hai by surprise…
The sound that should ensue should be a slicing one and blood spurting everywhere like a fountain, but this attack just sounded like it hit a ten mile thick steel wall…
The blood in the area then began to gather around and in the blink of an eye it was gone, revealing a youth in pure white outfit, pitch black hair and a slit of golden air on the right and another slit of blood red hair on the left side of his head…
He stood there, six feet in height with an almost golden skin which looked as delicate as jelly and a face that was much more handsome than the fantasies of all ladies combined…
The youth had one hand outstretched forward and everyone could see the last bit of blood being sucked into his palm whilst Teng -[who had the same expression of shock he had when the strike was about to land still plastered on his face]- was standing to his side unhurt…
"I hate people who hit others from behind!" [Damn, this came out wrong!]
Min Hong almost keeled over in laughter at the irony of his statement, considering how many girls he had screwed from behind…

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
