The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 414

It was more like piling a 2 Star Saint Stage battle power on top of another 2 Star Saint Stage power, and normally, if it was coming from the same person, it should at least result in an 8 Star Saint Stage cultivation base, but because it was coming from two different people, and their powers could not sync or harmonize, it dropped to the level of a 6 Star Saint Stage, which was just the level of the Pirates Leader's total battle power…
"Good, let's see you defend this!"
Whoosh!
Gong Yi and Xiao Gui simultaneously approached the Pirate Leader who also descended towards them with is battle axe…
Xiao Gui approached first and Sabre Qi surged around him like a raging tornado as he bellowed;
"Blunt Force Slash!"
Kiangggg!
Xiao Gui's sabre slammed into the battle axe of the Pirate Leader and scraped its body creating the deafening noise of metal scrapping metal and the vibration of a huge gong being struck, something which caught the Pirate Leader off guard, and caused him to grow slightly dizzy...
Then in that moment, Gong Yi swapped his sabre for a sword with a simple flick of his finger, as Sword Qi billowed out of his body in waves after waves;
"Thousand Illusion Strike!"
Slash!
The moment Gong Yi slashed at the giddy headed Pirate Leader, his sword which produced an initial one hundred afterimages, actually appeared like three hundred in the eyes of the Pirate Leader who blanched because he couldn't tell which of the sword was real,
Bang!
Splurt!
Gong Yi's sword missed the blocking strike of the Pirate Leader's battle axe with ease, before slashing him in the abdomen as the Pirate Leader's blood drew a perfect arc in the air in the direction of Gong Yi's strike…
The entire group on the ship bar the Princess were instantly impressed as they couldn't tell how Gong Yi made that attack, but to use it to draw blood from a mid-level Saint Stage expert, even though small, was an incredible feat…
Min Hong saw everything and analyzed the duo's combination with deep respect; Xiao Gui had never intended to slash or cut the Pirate Leader in the first place, and as a matter of fact, if the Pirate Leader hadn't tried to block the attack and simply evaded it, their plans would have fallen to ruins…
This was because the sabre strike was just a distraction, and the ensuing deafening sound was the actual attack, which made Gong Yi's attack more effective and deal more damage than normal…
Min Hong grinned slightly at the duo's coordination and battle familiarity, and though such a plan would have been useless against him, because he would have instantly used the 'Eye of Infinite Daos' or his 'Clairvoyance' divine ability to sense which of the afterimages was the real one, and then blocked it, something which would catch the duo off-guard presenting a tiny window of opportunity for him to land a retaliating strike...

That was something his speed was more than capable of, and should he use the concept of the 'Willow Leaf Palm' to absorb the force from Gong Yi's strike, and then furtherly add one of his own, he was absolutely sure he would be able to kill Gong Yi on the spot, except he had some sort of danger sensing and auto protective talisman or treasure on him…
But even at that, the fear that would grip Gong Yi after such a strike would ensure that his mental fortitude over the course of the battle reduces gradually, something Min Hong would definitely take extreme advantage of and use it to further plunge Gong Yi into deeper frustration until he becomes reckless, loses his cool, and eventually give him a weak link that he would absolutely exploit to kill him…
That was Min Hong analysis from the combo attack Xiao Gui and Gong Yi just made, and he was confident that if he should not hold back and use his total battle power [which is in the Nirvana/Samsara level], he would be able to simultaneously kill Xiao Gui and Gong Yi in a maximum of three moves…
Min Hong noted this and kept it at the back of his mind, should he ever need to make use of it…
"You are so impetuous, watching other's battle whilst you are in the middle of one…"
"Are you that stupid, or I am just that weak in your sight!?"
Pirate Hao blurted as he approached Min Hong with a fist strike with the power level of a 4 Star Saint Stage expert, but the moment the punch was about to land on Min Hong, everything in the area slowed to a crawl as Min Hong unleashed his highest speed…
Invisible flames burst out of his body propelling his speed, before thunder rumbled in the sky and lightning snakes flickered around Min Hong's body, causing his two dragon wings to be reinforced with an extra two wings made purely out of Lightning Dao…
Adding his Space and Force Dao into the fray, Min Hong was able to accurately measure all that momentum to specific parts of his body, and just in the moment the fist strike was about to hit Min Hong;
"Watch out!"
Ki Ting cried out, but before she could even speak half of the statement, Pirate Hao was nowhere in sight, and only a mist of fresh blood was now in his previous position…
Just as the fist strike was about to land, Min Hong caught it in his hand, and before Pirate Hao could completely feel the touch of Min Hong's hand catching his fist, Min Hong had absorbed every shred of the 4 Star Saint Stage force within it...

Then because his body was now strong enough, he absorbed it all, and then added his Nirvana/Samsara stage battle power to it, before converting the momentum of his speed into force and then piling it on top of the insane power in his free hand, then he simply slapped Pirate Hao in the chest;
Boom!
The explosive sound of Pirate Hao exploding into a mist of fresh blood came before Ki Ting could actually complete her warning…
That was the level of speed Min Hong had used to wipe out Pirate Hao, including his soul…
No one caught any glimpse whatsoever of Min Hong's entire movement [Fuck that thought, even Pirate Hao didn't see anything!], and to everyone watching the battle, it was like Pirate Hao simply exploded into a haze of fresh blood as he was about to strike Min Hong…
But despite coming to that single conclusion, that could explain why they couldn't even see an organ, or bone or brain matter anywhere in the area;
Not even Pirate Hao's soul was anywhere in sight, and the thought that there was no way Min Hong could possess that much power to kill a Saint Stage expert in such a manner plunged them into a deeper confusion as to how everything happened…
Min Hong simply smiled innocently at them before adding;
"I will leave this one to you guys, I need to go find that stray dog…"
Then he flapped his artistic wings and headed for the direction he had blasted Pirate Chan earlier…
Min Hong left the rest behind, as he began to search for Pirate Chan, he had purposely tested his extreme speed and power level back then, and had gotten his measurement right…
He was able to activate his Flame Dao, Lightning Dao, Force Dao, and even summon their energies, then attacked Pirate Hao and killed him before any of the onlookers could catch a glimpse of any of his movements;
He predicted that level of Speed to be at most the 5 Star Nirvana/Samsara level, and then, the way Pirate Hao died made him also gauge the force behind his strike to be within the same level as his speed, something which pleased Min Hong, even though he had not activated some other passive ability of his physical body, like the dragon tattoos, his body aura, bloodline effects and spirit ring…
All he had done was to use bluntly and ordinarily wield his peak speed and strength and channeling it into a single technique; the 'Willow Leaf Palm'...
If he had ended that attack with a fist or finger strike, there would have been a body left behind for the rest of the group to analyze how Pirate Hao died an d gauge his strength, something Min Hong didn't want…
But now, he would still have to explain to their curious self as to how Pirate Hao died, and he had prepared the perfect lie;
He was going to claim it was due to his protective treasure he wore on him at all times, and claim it was given to him by his dead grandfather who found it in an inheritance ground back when his grandfather was young…
He obviously knew there was no way the group or anyone would be able to find out if that was true or not since the person in question was already dead…
Before long, Min Hong whose 'Clairvoyance' ability had found Pirate Chan who was hiding within some stone debris, [and from the vibrations of his heartbeat in the air, as well as his rushing adrenaline and surging Qi,] had known that the pirate was planning to ambush him...
Min Hong grinned wickedly as he planned to plunge this man into an utter state of terror…
He was already far enough from the rest of the group, and it was night time which meant as long as he didn't use the kind of strike he used to kill Pirate Hao, no one would be able to sense their location...
Then Oblivion Dao surged all around Min Hong, whilst Oblivion energy began to leak out of his body and spread over a fifty meter radius around Pirate Chan, covering them in an inverted bowl of Oblivion energy which masked their entire presence from any outside probe…
Min Hong wanted to test his ability to terrorize someone mentally, and he didn't want anyone disturbing him, as Daniel's voice echoed in his head;
"The first one was a badass move, but this one would be much more fun to watch!"
Min Hong grinned at that statement as he tapped into the Primus Dao and activated its divine ability…

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
