The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 397

Boom!
Min Hong vanished and if not for the explosion caused by his rapid speed, the Sect leader duo might not even have determined his trajectory, as Fifth actually whipped out his sword and met Min Hong halfway;
Boom!
Fifth was sent smashing about 10 meters into the desert sand as Min Hong didn't even give the Sect Leader anytime to breathe before approaching him like as if the sect leader had stolen his vital organs…
The Sect Leader didn't even stand on any ceremony as a silvery long spear appeared and whipped around him independently, shocking Min Hong slightly, but then everything was still within expectations, after all, it wasn't like the Sect leader of a Sect like the Desert Sun Sect would be using an average weapon…
The sect leader erupted with a 6 Star Nirvana stage total battle power as she help the sharp end of his Spear and wielded the other end like a staff and smashed it into Min Hong's incoming staff strike;
Boom!
Both of them were sent hurtling ten meters away from their current position…
Min Hong felt the momentum of the Sect leader's attack rock his entire body, as he used the concept behind the [Willow Leaf Palm] to send all that vibration towards his foot, and then;
Boom!
Min Hong slammed his feet into the ground, borrowing the momentum from the vibrations to once again bolt towards the Sect Leader;
"Hmph!"
The sect leader snorted as he threw his spear towards Min Hong before following right behind…
Min Hong released Little Lin who bolted towards the incoming spear before Min Hong went to greet the Sect Leader bare handed as they began to exchange pointers;
Boom! Bam! Bang!
The duo sent shockwaves erupting outwards with every single blow they exchanged as the grand elders looked at the little figure battling the sect leader with such ease that it almost bordered on playing rather than being serious…
"Ryujin Jaka!"
The sect leader suddenly bellowed causing Min Hong to frown slightly as he saw the sect leader's right arm expand to like five times its previous size, as massive snake looking veins popped out and began to wriggle, and then fire exploded out of the sect leader's elbow as Min Hong's expression turned serious…
This fist strike that was coming was something that could cost him this duel if he took it lightly;
Vroom!
The sect leader's fist tore through the air leaving behind a shockwave as he smashed it towards Min Hong's chest;
"Imperial Willow Fist!" Min Hong blurted as the Sect Leader smiled;

'Hmph! The moment you decided to meet my fist with a fist strike of your own, was the moment you lost this duel!'
The sect leader thought to himself in delight as it was a similar situation with the five grand elders who gave a huge sigh of relief…
It was already shameful enough that the five of them were defeated seamlessly by a simply 15 year old disciple, but if the boy defeats their sect leader also, then, they would never be able to look Min Hong in the eyes again, but before their thought process could end, they got the shock of their lived, as it was with the sect leader, and this was because despite Min Hong's chant, he didn't face the sect leader's fist with a fist of his own, but rather, he faced it with a palm, and then they both collided;
Ta!
Contrary to their expectations, a loud bang or booming sounding didn't erupt, instead, it sounded like two flat objects slamming into each other with their flat surface, as the sect leader felt all the energy within his fist strike disappear completely…
Then he saw Min Hong deflect his hand to the sides, opening his chest wide to any form of onslaught, then Min Hong's hands curled into a fist carrying a 6 Star Nirvana Stage power…
But just as the fist formed, Min Hong pushed his own battle power into it, as the sect leader sensed the fist strike surge in power up to the Peak Nirvana Stage power, and he wasn't the only one who sensed it because they five grand elders all grabbed a part of their bodies in anxiety…
They knew their sect leader would be done for if that fist landed squarely on his chest, but just as Min Hong's fist was about to touch the sect leader, Min Hong opened his palm wide, and just like when he first spanked Min Qing on the butt, he released half of that power and slapped the sect leader squarely on the face, just as he had done to Min Tian;
Smack!
Boom!
The sect leader was sent head first into the ground, face planting himself in the dirt as his legs twitched in the air…
The five grand elders were so stunned that it took them more than 5 seconds before they could actually rush over to rescue their sect leader…
Min Hong floated [Yeah, he was floating previously!] to the ground as he also approached the sect leader who the grand elders have just uprooted out of the desert sand…
"I am truly sorry, sect leader…"

"I tried my best to release all of the strength behind that strike…"
Min Hong landed and apologized to the Sect Leader with a sincere bow…
"Haha haha, young one, there is nothing to apologize for… In fact, from now henceforth, you won't have to hold back on your powers anymore…"
"I will get you the toughest and most dangerous missions in the sect, so you can let loose…"
The sect leader burst into laughter, and the moment he did that, Daniel erupted with a more ridiculous laughter, whilst Little Fei fought back his own laughter with every shred of will he could summon, and as for Min Hong, his face was so red at this point that he was only a second away from bursting into shreds out of laughter, and this was because of the three missing teeth in the sect leader's mouth…
Apparently, such a slap that was so weak in Min Hong's perspective was enough to detach three teeth from the venerable sect leader's set…
After cleaning themselves up, the sect leader once again waved his sleeves and returned everyone to the sect;
"You all should leave first, I have some things to discuss with our Young Fei Hong here…"
The sect leader spoke with a tone that brood no more explanation as the grand elders vanished with blistering speed;
"With everything you have done today, I can now rest easy that the sect's sacrifices are not in vain, but you will still have to keep your end of the bargain…"
"Of course sect leader, I will return the mid-grade spirit stones, martial arts, techniques, and the rest of the weapons after the District has picked one each of their choices…"
Min Hong replied respectfully, causing the sect leader to have an even more favorable view about him;
"You don't have to bother about the damages of your cultivation processes, I will just attribute it to the sect's weak defenses when next the Imperial Emissary arrive for the yearly overview…"
"But there is one favor I must aske of you…" The sect leader spoke with a serious and somewhat pleading tone;
"I will support the sect as long as it supports my goals, sect leader…"
Min Hong assured, as the sect leader sighed in relief and cleared his throat, before speaking with a silent tone;
"It is about my all the disciples who will be contesting for the Desert Sun Sect at the Imperial Seeding Tournament, but more importantly for my disciple; Gong Yi…"
Min Hong was taken slightly aback by this statement, but he waited for the sect leader to finish his statement;
"I want all the rest to accompany you on this dangerous missions, but the only thing I ask of you is to always protect them from the shadows…" The sect leader revealed before adding;
"Gong Yi is all I have, and if he is able to become half as great as you will be at your peak, then I will feel fulfilled as a father…"
"So, all I ask of you is to make my life goal a reality, and I will in return make sure that all cream of the crops from every entrance selection exams head over to District 21…"
"I think of Gong Yi as a fellow brother and disciple, thus, I will definitely not hold back at any opportunity that can make him evolve…"
Min Hong reassured sincerely, and after the sect leader breathed a sigh of relief, the sect leader added;
"Take this…"
He handed Min Hong a tag which was not of the Desert Sun Sect but the Super Clan from which he originated from;
"Whenever you find yourself in a pinch, head over to the Jin Clan and they will help you n three different occasions, as long as what you need wouldn't involve the extermination of the clan…"
Min Hong accepted the badge that had the insignia of a Tiger and the character; 'Jin' written below it, and when he turned the badge around, he saw 'Elder' written behind it….
"What!" Min Hong exclaimed in shock;
"You are an elder of the sixth strongest Super Clan in the entire Dogon Empire?" Min Hong blurted in shock;
"It is a long story Fei Hong, one I would be willing to share with you once you have been accepted into the Super Sect governing the entire continent…"
The sect leader replied and ended his statement there, something that told Min Hong that the he wasn't qualified to be privy into such level of secret for now…
"I understand, sect leader…"
Min Hong replied as the sect leader smiled and tapped him on the shoulders;
"I know a lot of responsibilities already rests on your shoulders, and I am truly sorry for adding more to that burden…"
"Don't say that sect leader, the Desert Sun Sect is a very vital piece to my current goal, so it is only normal that I do everything in my power to protect my best interest…"
"Alright, since everything has been settled, don't let me delay you any longer, you can go do as you wish…" The sect leader permitted…
