The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 368
Advertisement
Old Man Li's appearance underwent a drastic change as he came close to the appearance of a 30 year old…
"Master!?"
Little Lin called out in shock when he saw the Old Man Transform; she knew, this only happens when something life threatening is beginning…
"One last duet, my child?"
The youth asked with a smile, and Little Lin who was stunned with rosy cheeks, looking at her master's true figure couldn't snap out in time, until she felt his call with his open hands…
She didn't know how, but something within her just pushed her into his grip…
This was a sensation, and a feeling she had not felt in ages…
The kind of feeling she craved with Min Hong; succumbing to her master's call like she didn't have a mind of her own…
Carrying her into battle and fighting together like a pair of hero and heroine…
Side by side, battle by battle, strike by strike, and dead bodies by dead bodies, falling to the ground like they were raining from the heavens…
The freedom he sometimes giver her, when he releases her from his grip and allow her fight one her own to her hearts content, whilst stealing a glance at her to see how she is doing…
Including the way she looks to see how he is doing from the distance…
Whenever she finds a danger in one of his blind spots, she charges over to thwart it for him…
That is the insane level of importance a ranked weapon to its master as compared to every other kind of weapon…
These are weapons that have emotions of their own, they choose the master of their own and love him till death rips them apart…
There had been occasions where a ranked weapon refused to acknowledge another master due to the trauma of having her first master killed…
The number one weapon on the guardian rankings;
The Bow was a typical example of this, and till date, no one knows where she is…
She completely locked her aura and left to mourn for however long it would take her to forget, or till she meets a master who could spark up her feelings…
Some weapons have parental love relationships for their masters, an example being Old Man Li and Little Lin, with Old Man Li being the parent obviously…
Others have this sibling love; the brotherhood or sisterhood nature of relationship, and then others have pure romantic relationships with their weapons, and example of this being Little Wu and Little Bing…

Boom!
Elder Li [Old Man Li seemed too OP a name to use at this point, so I will just stick with Elder Li for now…] grabbed Little Lin and they exploded from the hut, zooming through the sky faster than the speed of sound…
The rush of air, and the adrenaline rush within Elder Li at this point triggered something within Little Lin that ignited the personality of her old self…
She twisted herself and rolled within Elder Li's grasp without leaving his falling off his grasp…
She did about three different stunts before Elder Li smiled and nodded;
"Good to have you back…."
"I was beginning to think ages of our father to daughter role play might have gotten you a little off your best!" He said with a smile;
"You know I only live to go into battle with you, Li…"
"So, who are we pummeling this time?" Little Lin asked;
"Unh-Unh… Nothing much, just some children out of their kindergartens…"
Elder Li replied with a blissful smile…
It had been too long since he last stretched his back and limbs, so he wanted to be sure if he still has his reflexes and battle sense…
"Spare me, and you will spoil the child!"
[Little Lin pulled a PUN only she and Elder Li knew; referring to herself as the Rod in the Quote…]
Elder Lin laughed and looked up ahead, before descending;
"Alright we are here!" He said;
"What are those!?" Little Lin asked;
"They look and feel scary!" She added;
"Don't forget who you are!"
Elder Li motivated Little Lin as all the runes on her body lit up…
Crackle! Crackle!
Boom!
That was the first thing she did; boosting Elder Li's Lightening Dao…
Instantly, snakes of golden lightning began to wash over Little Lin from head to toe, as she allowed these bolts to rip through her, bathing herself in it as the sheen of her silver color began to shine ever brighter…
It was as if she charged Elder Li's Dao to allow those golden lightning sparks to charge her to life...
A symbiotic relationship between weapon and their Master's Daos…
Elder Li saw the approaching Dark Ancestral Statues, as well as the strong reddish black wave of energy that was going before them…
He raised his staff and channeled the Essence of Lightning into Little Lin who served as an amplifier before blasting six times the power of lightning Elder Li was capable of using at the incoming reddish black wave of energy that was spreading over…

But just as the golden lightning bolt was about to collide with this pitch black energy, the energies stopped and gathered together into a spinning tornado that smacked the lightning bolt back at Elder Li and Little Lin who simply split apart, allowing the lightning bolt to pass through their middle…
In just that moment that the lightning was passing though their middle, Elder Li studied it and quickly found residues of the reddish black energy that was on his lightning bolt and the way they corroded each other like their lives depended on it…
"Unh!?"
"That can't be possible!"
Elder Li gasped as he looked back at the spinning tornado…
"What can't be possible?" Little Lin asked;
"Nothing…"
Elder Li replied absent-mindedly as Little Lin began to think that probably their opponents were a little too difficult and Elder Li was thinking of a way to dispatch them…
'I really need to mop this up and go to the great creator… This is a total disaster!'
Elder Li was busy thinking to himself not knowing that Little Lin was in another version of thought entirely…
[It seems their years of role playing made her a little dull after all…]
Elder Li watched as the statues roared towards him, about 15 of them; he simply bowed;
"Oh ye wise ones, forgive me for being a little impolite!"
Then he grabbed Little Lin and watch as the tornado of reddish black energy surged into these Dark statues…
'This is not even its power yet… Just its aura was enough to cause this sort of problem for me…'
Slam!
Elder Li collided with the first dark statue which was Little Wu's dark ancestor, another staff user which flipped like the monkey king it was, and returned to Elder Li for another round…
This time, reddish black lightning surged through the dark monkey statue and slammed into Elder Li, sending him flying for about three hundred meters;
"Okay, this is getting too serious…"
Elder Li spoke as reddish black lightning crackled all over their body, but then something strange happened; they could feel Min Hong's aura within this reddish black lightning;
"Master?" Little Lin thought;
'He is awakening?' Elder Li thought…
"Hmph.., Play time is over!" Elder Li returned into battle slamming the dark monkey and its reddish black lighting all the way to the bridge entrance…
This was not a beating, it was an utter disaster of a strike; the golden lightning spark wreaking havoc on the dark monkey statue surged into its eyes and found a pulsing core within the statue before striking it and shattering it…
Elder Li smiled on the outside; "That's a pretty simple way to solve all these problems!"
He had sent his divine sense along with the lightning bolts that entered the Dark monkey statue, and just like camera drones, he could see everything those lightning bolts did within the dark monkey statue…
He moved straight for a beast with four arms; throwing Little Lin with the force of almost a Demi-god stage expert, the statue was forced to use its four arms to block the staff…
Then it had to see lightning sparks coming from his crotch area before it could realize the staff was just a diversion…
Elder Li as fast as lightning itself, made a clawing gesture as lightning snakes surrounded his hand into to create massive talons which Elder Li plunged straight into the crotch of the statue;
"Monkey Steals Peaches!"
Elder Li roared out his technique like it was pure and orthodox…
But it sure did the job of the volume, as Elder Li's claws dug into this beast's balls and sent in a surge of highly charged lightning bolt that blitz through the beast from beneath causing it to spasm like someone who had been zap with 10,000 volts….
One of the lightning bolts then went after the reddish black core within them and destroyed it…
Elder Li looked back to find a searing hot wave of reddish black energy rushing towards him, and he instantly knew this statue must have comprehended the Flame Dao in their lifetimes…
Responding promptly to that, Elder Li shoved Little Lin forward as ten foot radius blanket of water shot out of the staff, and then with a thought the water spread across the incoming fir, but just as they were about to extinguish themselves, Elder Li clenched his fist around Little Lin as a bolt of lightning the size of a dragon descended downwards, and landed directly on that water blanket, blasting it apart...
Now everywhere these water droplets splashed, they were also zapped by the tiny lightning within each of them…
This was a massive ranged attack which Elder Li used to incapacitate three statues at once…
The moment these statues inhaled this water droplets, the lightning within all of them would merge together into a single golden lightning bolt that would shatter their core…
