The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 336

[Everything that happened within this chapter, happened simultaneously and within the span of about five minutes… Enjoy… Author: ORIGIN_ESSENCE…]
"Kun Lin would be here shortly… with the three of them here, it would take at least a Saint Stage expert to do anything to them without causing any ruckus…" Min Hong revealed…
"Furthermore, my aunt should be here anytime soon…" He added as Mu Li's expression relaxed a bit, as they both head out…
The moment they stepped out, they were instantly joined by Long Sha, Mu Bai and Kun Chao…
[Let the challenge begin!]
This time, Kun Chao was to Min Hong's left while Long Sha took his natural position on his right, with Mu Bai and Mu Li just behind them on the left and right respectively…
This five-man entourage had a lower battle power of 1 Star Nascent Soul Stage, and a higher battle power of 1 Star Saint Stage…
They marched through the crowd with their cultivation auras rippling out and announcing their approach whilst creating a path amongst the sea of heads heading to the Reaper's Lair…
"Coming through!"
Little Ming bellowed as she flew in a low line through the crowd who quickly parted to avoid been rammed into by the bullet of a beast that was darting over…
Before long, they reached Min Hong's apartment, and instantly Kun Lin appeared over the apartment with a sword in hand as she glared at the visitors with a solemn expression and her aura of a 3 Star Nascent Soul stage rippling outwards, until she saw a certain figure on the flying beast, and all that aura and solemnity vanished with a puff;
"Aunt Rou!" She squealed in excitement…
'Another woman!' The white robed lady sitting between three blue robed women thought with a somewhat disappointed expression, but as the though crossed her mind, she heard;
"Fei Qing, it's Aunt Rou!"
Swish! Swish!
Min Qing and Qing Tan bolted out of the door as Little Ming finally landed;
"Fei Qing!?" Elder Yun blurted at Min Rou;
"It's a long story…" Min Rou whispered back at her…
Min Qing threw herself into Min Rou's arms who for some reasons was now feeling much more conflicted; previously, it was Min Qing who didn't know she wasn't related by blood with Min Hong, and now it was their time to realize that the reverse was also the case…

"You said you were only going to take a week, Aunt Rou… We missed your cocktails!" Qing Tan pouted like a spoilt princess before joining in the embrace;
"Hmph! Little brat, so it is my cocktails you missed, not me!?" Min Rou snorted in playful anger;
"What are you saying, it is only natural that I miss the person who creates the cocktail too…"
Qing Tan beamed at Min Rou's face, and for a moment there, the heart of everyone around could help but flutter slightly at her childishness and innocence…
"*Sighs loudly* so no one missed me… The world surely isn't balanced…" Elder Long faked a pained expression…
"Elder Jun!?" Min Qing blurted, she had been so carried away that she had totally ignored the existence of everyone else;
"Elder Jun!?" Elder Long joked as he looked around looking for himself…
Min Qing instantly stepped aside before giving a solid bow, then she raised her head and started looking around searching for something or someone;
"Looking for me!?"
Elder Yun in her little state flew in circles before perching on Min Qing's shoulder who beamed in delight and began to fluff her feathers…
"Oi! I'm also here you know!"
Min Qing scrunched her brows as she continued to look around intently, causing Elder Yun, Elder Long and Min Rou to smile…
They were truly enjoying the show...
"Little Ming!?"
Min Qing finished searching but couldn't find the little azure snake anywhere in sight…
"Where are you?"
She rose Min Rou's arm and checked inside her sleeves which only caused the White Robed Lady and her guards to give a confused look that said;
'Do you look for someone within another person's sleeves?'
But everyone else knew better, except for Kun Lin and Qing Tan who had never met Little Ming and Elder Yun before…
"I'm right here!"
The dragon forced out a frustrated breath, as Min Qing gave it a deep scrutinizing gaze…
Then she saw the azure colored scales and blurted;
"Is that you?"
"Finally!" The dragon shook in delight;
"Wow!"
"Riiight!"
"B-bu-but, how did this happen?"
With a comical and incredulous expression, Min Qing asked as her voice trailed off…

"I evolved is what happened!"
Little Ming said smugly as Min Qing burst out with a hearty laughter;
"It is definitely you… No one can beat your level of impetuousness…"
"Hey!"
The dragon stomped its foot which looked very weird but also comical and funny as the rest burst out in a hearty laughter, except for the newbies…
"Can you turn back?" Min Qing finally asked;
"You mean into this?"
A bright azure-green glow erupted from Little Ming's body as she began to shrink…
The smaller the glow got, the brighter it became, until everyone had to put a hand to guide their eyes…
By the time the glow faded, a little snake the size of a palm laid there on the floor, and just as they blinked, it was gone…
Min Qing looked around but couldn't find it…
Rustle! Rustle!
"~Aiiy~"
Min Qing jumped in fright as something seemed to be shuffling around within her hair…
The White Robed Lady and her guards saw their heart tremble slightly at that moment…
They obviously didn't know that Little Ming usually saw her abilities and strength multiply the more she shrunk which was the exact opposite in Elder Yun's case…
"Ha-ha ha!"
A tiny head poked out of her hair and slithered its way into her arm, and everyone could see the intensity of its laughter by the way its body giggled to the extent it almost fell off;
"That's payback!"
"Hehe he!"
Min Qing also laughed a little before Little Ming coiled completely on Min Qing's wrist;
"Get out of here… That's my spot!"
Everyone saw Little Ming send a surge of azure-green flames which blasted the bracelet on Min Qing's wrist away, as she settled herself comfortably on her wrist, an action which caused Elder Yun to 'face-feather' herself whilst Elder Long and Min Rou simply shook their head with a smile…
"But where is Yueyao!?"
Min Qing asked with a smile expecting her to also pop out of somewhere, but after waiting a while and getting nothing but silence, he smile began to fade little by little…
"*Sighs Deeply* Let's discuss that inside…" Elder Long said as he heard over seven different but simultaneously frustrated sigh…
He was a little taken aback to understand that everyone was actually interested to know about Yueyao; his contracted beast…
"I'm so sorry, where are my manners… Please do come in..." Min Qing said before turning around and walking inside…
Min Rou walked up to Kun Lin before putting her arms around her neck as she they both walked in with her free hand rested on Qing Tan's head…
"You can stay here with us for a bit, till you're ready to be on your way…" Elder Long said with a slight smile…
He could sense that these people were somehow here for them just by the way their groups literally bumped into each other, but who particularly, he didn't know…
But he knew they were harmless, and if they turned out to be dangerous, he was confident he could dispatch them off before anything untoward happens…
"Then we will have to trouble you and be in your care…"
The White Robed Lady chimed a response, something which infuriated the guards who were always unhappy that a man was speaking directly to their princess over and over again…
Thus, they all looked at each other before one of them stepped forward and spoke;
"Pri- young mistress, we are supposed to be here for something…" One of the blue-robed guards respectfully whispered to the White Robed Damsel;
"Firstly, it is very impolite to refuse someone's sincere gesture of hospitality…"
"Secondly… I have to be incognito about this mission…"
"Lastly, I have found what I am looking for, and it will come to us as long as we remain here, and that makes accomplishing my mission not only leisurely, but relaxing as well…" She replied;
"I've overstepped… I am sorry my prin-, I mean young mistress…" The guard took a few steps backwards and an apologetic bow…

Blightbane
Miscellaneous Notes: - I want to see about making a crude map of Shroud to help readers. - I also want to get back to writing Coalescence updates. Schedule Notes: - None for now, updates when I can. [ Thank you for your patience and support as I improve my writing and storytelling abilities. I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note! Ancient creatures hidden in the earth stir from their slumber of centuries, and humanity is not prepared for their ancient powers. Can the human race of steel and fire stand against the creatures created by the most ancient of powers? Is the human race pure enough to band together and form a closed fist as they did centuries ago? Find out in this adventure where Jacob starts off on his way on a normal day towards his job. "I get the feeling this story might be one of those 'diamonds in the rough'. The premise is quite solid, there's plenty of room to flesh out the characters. It's quite easy to get into and be engaged by at the moment, imo. I don't know where the story will go from here, but it's off to a good start me thinks." - Xenower Attribution: The cave picture in the book cover is made by Stanislav Sedov and is licensed under CC-BY-SA-2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/ This picture was modified from the original with an overlaid moon and sea picture to be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/ssedov/26342569905 The photographer has no affiliation to Tschallacka nor can be held accountable for the use of this picture the way as it is here.
