Then about two hours into their battle, she spotted an elf who was picking fruits around the area, thus she alerted the elf of their battle by launching the loud attack she just initiated, so that the elf can come to her aid…

But when the elf came to their location, the first words that exited her mouth was;

It was at this moment that the spider knew that she just lost everything…

"Min Rou?"

Elder Yun who was currently caught within the reverse web trap of the spider blurted in shock…

Though she was more attuned towards anything pertaining to soul which was why she was able to detect that the egg they currently have in their possession was the most valuable thing in the entire Dogon Empire jungle, and it was the same reason why she could sense Min Rou's soul aura even though her soul was now within a different body…

"Elder Yun, why are you here?"

"I asked Qing'er a few weeks back about you, and she told me you are on a training adventure with an elder…"

"So, what is the problem here?" She asked;

"Well, we were here to fulfil our daily quota of beast cores, and was initially done with our mission, until I got trapped within the snare of this six-legged beach…"

Elder Yun cursed out of frustration of being captured and being unable to do anything…

Normally according to Spirit Rings she should have been able to defeat this 'mommy spider', but because of the latest twist that happened when this spider messed with a Sage Beast, instead of being the bird that feasts on insects, she now became the moth that was caught within the spider's snare….

Min Rou simply brought out a Low Grade Bronze Tier Bow that Min Qing had given her prior to coming for this hunt...

Furthermore, this bow was one which was present in the treasury of the previous Min Family, thus after nocking the bow with an arrow backed with her 5 Star Emperor and 5 Star Nascent Soul stage Min Rou released her fingers, and then;

Huala!

Boom!

The arrow which was supported by Min Rou's Second Plane Intent Level Wind Dao bolted towards the spider at a breakneck speed, as Little Ming supported the attack with her stream of Azure Flames, which prompted the spider to go all out using its Intent Level Metal and Sickle Dao as well as its Earth Dao to create two massive sickles made purely out of Qi and sent it hurtling towards both attacks to defend herself....

But she must have underestimated the level of power difference between itself and Min Rou, because the moment her sickle cut through Little Ming's stream of azure flames, the other one went hurtling towards Min Rou's arrow…

It was at this moment that Little Ming did something out of the ordinary; her bloodline power surged as her eyes went completely purple-black in color…

The exact color of the void, and all of a sudden the arrow Min Rou shot which the spider had braced for, disappeared, and then; Splurt!

The spider saw an arrow abruptly appear beneath her abdomen, her only point of weakness which Little Ming had taken half an hour to find out before now, with momentum that was greater than her reaction speed, the arrow pierced through its abdomen and came out of the other side, completely boring a fist-sized hole through the spider, who initially collapsed on its own legs, and began to bleed out, whilst the her enemies simply caught up with each other whilst she simply bled to death on the side…

"It has been only a little over a year, but for some strange reasons it seemed like I haven't seen you for a very long time…"

"What brings you here?" Elder Yun asked;

"Well, my boy and girl have been accepted into the inner court and due to training and all other tasks, they forgot to restock on food, so I thought why not come into the jungle to hunt and return to my battle prime…"

"But who would have thought I will run into you just three days after I began hunting?" Min Rou responded…

Little Ming who was feeling left out, butt into their conversation;

"Big sis who is she?"

"Oh forgive my rudeness, Little Ming meet Lady Min Rou; Min Hong's mother…"

Elder Yun spoke whilst Min Rou freed her from her constraints whilst Little Ming kept an eye on the dying spider to prevent any unwanted surprises…

Then, just as she had expected the spider looked to use a last ditch attack and take one of the trio with her, thus, all three of her Daos surged as she supported it with her 3 Star Nascent Soul cultivation and sent out a massive sickle made entirely out of Qi hurtling towards Min Rou…

But before the sickle could reach Min Rou's position it abruptly vanished, and this was because Little Ming now had the spider's head in her mouth, completely detached from its remaining body causing its attack which couldn't be directed with its mental energy to disperse mid-air, whilst Little Ming worked her way into the depths of the spider's skull where its core laid, and after fetching it, she joined Min Rou in trying to free up Elder Yun from the snare of webs…

"What! Really!?"

"Then where was she when her innocent little kid was being chased by men who were much stronger than all of us?"

Little Ming who never hides her feelings or thoughts blurted as Min Rou went quiet in guilt;

"Show some respect you foul mouthed fool!" Elder Yun raged;

"If it wasn't for her we might have never made it out of the place in the first place…"

Elder Yun who finally had herself free from the web trap bolted into the sky and soared in circles for about three times, to spread her wings which had been cramped for over an hour now…

Then she descended and landed in front of Min Rou before giving a deep bow;

"How did you manage to survive that catastrophe?" Elder Yun asked; "I didn't survive it…"

Min Rou replied with a deep sigh and a shake of her head, as Little Ming braced herself to fight a ghost should in case it burst into a fit of rage and turned into a vengeful ghost…

"I only managed to slip a sliver of my consciousness into Hong'er after he had his Qi deviation and that is the only reason why we could both see and talk to each other today…"

Min Rou briefed, as Elder Yun got a brief idea of what happened and why she could currently see the most beloved child of her master currently alive and well…

"Anyways, we need to return to our training supervisor before we finally return to the sect to meet young master…"

Elder Yun spoke referring initially to Elder Jun and later to Min Hong…

"Training supervisor?" Min Rou asked seemingly confused…

"Oh, I guess he hasn't had the time to explain what happened to us then…"

Elder Yun spoke in thought as Min Rou interrupted her train of thought;

"What happened?"

"I guess it would be best if it came from young master himself thus, all this would have to wait till we reunite with him in the sect…" Elder Yun responded…

Min Rou couldn't push the matter any further, thus, she did just as Elder Yun had said, and waited till they returned to the sect, so she can get a full explanation of everything that happened…

"Little Ming, fetch the egg and her core and let's return… We are already about half an hour late…"

"I don't wanna stay within this jungle for another second, and now that we have finished our training, it should be time to return to young master's side…"

Elder Yun added, whilst Little Ming did as she has been instructed and fetched the valuables from their spoils of war as they returned…
