The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 293

"You have handled them perfectly, but you must still give me a solid explanation for what you did today…"
A voice sounded from behind the fifth grand elder causing him to jolt slightly as he turned around to look;
"Sect Leader…"
He said with a sigh after confirming who it was that had eerily appeared behind him...
"But-"
The fifth grand elder looked at the direction the sect leader just flew through and looked back at him as he asked seemingly confused;
"How?-"
"I never left…"
"Oh, so you leaving was simply an illusion…"
"Yeah, now you know… So, back to the explanation…"
Seeing that the sect leader was already getting impatient with him, the fifth elder didn't dwell on any further ceremony as he began explaining everything that had happened since the moment he saw Min Hong in the entrance examination, then to how Min Hong hid true prowess and still ended up in the top 10 rankings…
Then the frequent tribulation lightning that always fell on his apartment, and this was the part that really began to interest the sect leader, because even he, had never seen anyone who gets angry and stirs up lightning…
But he kept on hearing Fifth's explanation, and the more he heard, the more curious he became about Min Hong…
Then he also heard about how Min Hong recruited his team and how he destroyed Kun Chao's apartment and the likes, then to the death match he had and how he killed both opponents;
"And you are sure he isn't a reincarnated ancient expert?"
The sect leader asked, because based on everything he had heard so far, that was the only logical explanation he could come up with, and his other answer was seemingly too impossible, that he couldn't even believe he actually entertained the thought;
"No… You were here just now… If he was one, we would have found out one way or the other…" Fifth replied;
"Go on…"
The sect leader urged as Fifth continued to explain everything, and when he got to the part where he fought four grand elders simultaneously, the sect leader blew up in anger;

"Are you taking me for a fool!?"
"I asked for an explanation and you feed me such a lie!?"
"No, sect leader… I am not lying!" Fifth blanched...
"You just witnessed how he put a hole through Fourth without even breaking a sweat…"
"But that was not all…"
"What do you mean?"
The sect leader calmed down and asked, he also remembered that Min Hong had actually fatally injured the fourth grand elder even after he had interfered, so he was beginning to think that what the Fifth was telling him at this point might not be too far-fetched…
"The bow he brought out earlier…"
"Yes, what happened with the bow?" The sect leader paid more attention this time around…
He had noticed the fear and caution that gripped the first, second and third grand elders when they saw that bow, so he was particularly interested in the weapon that was powerful enough to strike fear into the heart of a Saint stage expert;
"He shot First, Second and Third with that bow, and afterwards, the trio seemed to have forgotten everything that happened three days prior to that fight…"
"What!?"
"Where did this fight happen?"
Just outside the Sunfire City…
In the desert plains...
Swoosh!
Before Fifth could finish his explanation, the Sect Leader had waved his sleeves covering booth of them in a curtain of space, and by the time the space mended itself, they were nowhere to be found…
Deep into the desert, the space atop a patch of land that was riddled with several depressions and burnt marks, rippled as two figures stepped out of the pocket of space which then mended itself…
"I can still sense Second's cindering flames, here…"
The sect leader frowned as he brought out something that looked more like a Feng Shui compass and sent his Qi into it, and as the pointers on the compass came alive, an energy barrier flowed out of the compass and covered the span of a mile radius, covering a little part of where Min Hong had battled the four grand elders…

Turning the pointers counter clockwise, the time in the area began to reverse, and the more it did, the more Qi it took from the Sect Leader…
Before long, the entire battle was replayed in the presence of the Sect Leader, and as they moved, the sect leader moved along with them, as well as the energy barrier, and as a result the sect leader was able to witness Min Hong's valiance first hand…
"These guys is definitely not simple, bringing out one mysterious weapon after the other…"
"Take a look at that staff, for example; I am very sure it would be, at least, a Gold Tier weapon, and that bow too should be in the Silver Tier too…"
The sect leader and Fifth moved around as the sect leader commented when he sees anything unusual...
"Where is this boy from?"
The Sect Leader asked after seeing his grand elders disgracefully thrashed by a seemingly fifteen year old boy…
"That's the strange thing about him…"
"Over here…"
Fifth brought the sect leader to the spot where the soldiers from the East Wind Empire had died and explained;
"I have tried to glean more information about his background from every way possible, but all I could find was that, he was chased all the way here by people he claimed to have slaughtered his entire family…"
"But it didn't seem to add up, because there is a lady staying with him currently who claims to be his aunt…"
"But these soldiers were people from the East Wind Empire, and I don't know if his story was true or not…"
"But if it is true, then that simply means his family was caught in some sort of political battle and got annihilated, but they managed to escape, and then in a bid to keep whatever it was a secret, they sent these guys to come kill him, which testifies more to his talent than threat to these people…"
"How does this testify to his talents, they might just want to kill him to shut him up?" The Sect Leader asked…
"If you sent about a dozen Nascent Soul stage expert just to kill a little kid like him, then you must either think the kid is very powerful, or was escaping with a powerful expert or he has something so valuable on him that needed to be retrieved at all cost, and finally, you are too scared of his talent and don't want him to grow up and get revenge…"
"No matter the explanation you want to give, it is still tied to the kid, and based on all my theories, he must be truly talented for that to happen…"
"Based on what I got from the guards at the entrance of the Sunfire City, they said that when the kid got here, he was here with two beasts; a serpent that was in the Dan Formation stage and a bird in the Nascent Soul stage…"
"Furthermore, they said those beasts were magic beasts!"
"What!?"
The Sect Leader had received so much information, that that last sentence did a heavy blow to his train of thought…
"How is that even possible!?"
"Two magic beasts in the same place!?" He exclaimed;
"That's not all…" Fifth continued;
"It was said that those beasts were protecting him…"
"Apparently, they got into a fight with the young masters of the Chi and Zi Super Clans, and Chi Ning; the one sent to protect the Chi Clan's young master had almost killed him until Long Jun of the Long Super Clan saved him…"
"The Long Super Clan was here!?"
The Sect Leader couldn't believe all he was hearing… it seemed like a great deal had happened and he didn't even know a tad bit about it…

Nowhere Stars
For as long as anyone can remember, humans have been preyed upon by Harbingers, living nightmares which devour dreams and passions and souls, and defended by Keepers. These children alone hold the gift of magic, the wild and wondrous ability to impose emotions over reality and empower their frail bodies with the splendor of their souls. Under their protection, humanity was able to survive and thrive. While modern Keepers have come to enjoy a social position somewhere between celebrities and religious idols, very few accept the mantle simply to be a hero. The Messengers of the Goddess Claiasya, spirits charged with awakening the magic in suitable souls, promise that Keepers who consume and purify enough Harbingers will obtain the power to change themselves or the world in nearly any way they wish. It’s for this purpose that Liadain Shiel, a young girl born terminally ill, throws herself into life as a Keeper when her opportunity comes, hoping against hope to rewrite her fate and save her life while she still can. But magic wants its wielders to grow and change, not simply continue living, and the secrets swimming beneath the sea and behind the sky have lives and designs of their own. Helena's Plane
Paul, a bored young man, wakes up in a white room. A young woman tells him he has died, that she is some kind of god who likes videogames and he will be reborn in an RPG-esque world so she and her fellow god-friends can watch him for entertainment.Unfortunately, the goddess forgot to give Paul most of the obligatory, obvious cheat-abilities to make him rush to power in easy mode. Paul embraces his new life full of clichés, perverts, magic, loot and action. And animal girls.18+ !CONTAINS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL CONTENT! (Actual sex is still hard to find, but you will get it. Eventually. Sporadically.) =================Author's note:So, this is my very first novel. It will be poorly written, has a huge info-dump disguised as a first chapter (to be rewritten. At some point in the future. I guess.), and may or may not offend everyone for different reasons. Perhaps you will just find it boring, which would be even worse. The description turned out a bit comedic, but the story isn't overly so.I have a rough idea of where this will be going, but expect some bumps on the road, as well as logic holes, flat characters and a lot of borderline copyright infringements from all the ideas I got reading other works. And did I mention I'm not a native speaker? No? Well, expect some embarrassing grammar and wording choices.The main character is a more or less normal guy, without high morals, martial arts skills or even a desirable goal in life. There is mature content, in terms of violence and sexual content. It won't become a full-blown erotic novel, and it may or may not be your cup of tea when it comes to the type of content.Critics welcome.

Jordan Leoren – A Tale From The Wizarding World
Jordan Leoren is, unfortunately, not your average 10-year-old boy. He is handsome, from a rich family, and has been a very popular child model and actor since the age of 4. His long golden locks and piercing blue eyes could be easily identified by anyone in England and many across the world...and he hates it. He doesn't want the fame and attention, nor does he want jealous looks from other boys when the girls swarm him. All he wants from life is to explore and discover the unknown. From artifacts and treasures located deep in dungeons to strange glyphs or languages found covering ancient ruins. He longs for adventure and to be free of his constricting schedule. If it wasn't for his parent's proud smiles and expectant eyes, he would have long ago quit and lived normally. He lives a kilometer or so from the small village of Godric's Hollow in his family's manor. This manor has been in his family for generations and they are considered one of the founders of the village. This, and the small-town vibe, basically ensure Jordan cannot go anywhere in the village without being immediately noticed and called for pictures, autographs, or asked to meet people's sons or daughters. Jordan's saving grace is the huge plot of land that his family owns around their manor, and it is his one source of adventure and escape. It is in this large expanse of rolling hills, lush and verdant forests, and rocky crags that he finds a secret. A secret found just days before his 11th birthday. A secret that truly starts his life. No more dreaming of adventure, it is time for him to experience it and discover the mysteries of a strange new world and his family's legacy. The legend of Jordan Godric Leoren is about to begin. Author's Note: Just a bit of fun from an amateur. This is my first attempt at writing and I have no planned release schedule. I am just doing this for my own amusement, but I hope that others enjoy and I would appreciate any and all feedback! ~~~ I do not own anything from this property. Harry Potter is (TM) and (C) J.K.
