The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 254

Boom!
The Void Serpent's head fell into the desert sand as Min Hong swooped it into his spatial ring before flapping his four wings and erupting into the sky like a nuclear missile from a submarine…
Seeing Daniel return to the sect, the fifth elder turned to his four elders and spoke in utter disappointment;
"Hmph! You lot are a true disgrace…"
"Not only did you try to bully a fourteen year old outer court disciple and lost, but you still wanted me to join such a despicable and demeaning charade..."
"The Sect Leader would definitely hear about this…"
The fifth elder spoke before clenching his fists as the space in front of him cracked open, then he stepped into it after which the spatial crack repaired itself and closed up…
The moment the fifth elder left, the first, second and third grand elder went over to the fourth elder and asked;
"Hui Fan, I can't seem to remember everything that has happened in the last two days, can you please tell us what is going on?"
The third grand elder asked the fourth; "You too!? It is three days, in my case…"
"How and why did we come here!? Furthermore, who was that little kid just now!?"
The First and Second grand elders also chipped in as the fourth simply shook his head at the realization of their current condition, as he gazed furiously towards the area in space which the Fifth grand elder just left through…
"Tch! Using us as test subjects, unh? Let's see who will end up getting the boy in the end!?"
He spat through gritted teeth… Daniel tore through this sky like he was some sort of a high tech missile as he approached the sect…
Getting to the vicinity of the sect, he landed before taking to streets on foot, after all, only certain group of people are allowed to fly within the sect's environs…

Then, ten minutes later, he reached the District 21 of the outer court and wriggled his way home where he met the entire group; yep, the entire Hong Dynasty was currently within his room…
Min Hong came in and was shocked to find out that they were all having a serious expression on their faces, and the atmosphere was so tense, it felt like everyone was being gripped hard by a giant muscular palm…
"Hong-ge! You really scared me, you know!?"
"One moment you were still in the bath and the next moment the entire apartment was a mess and you were nowhere to be found!?"
"I was scared someone really strong had kidnapped you… Then there was- there was-…"
Min Qing gripped her chest hard as she sobbed in fear, as she remembered how frightened she had been within the last 14 hours…
She had thought that the only person who was capable of sneaking into the sect and their apartment, and then kidnap Min Hong and also successfully flee without even the sect leader noticing, must be a very strong expert…
Then what if the person had been sent by their enemies back home, and then, there was the brief moment she felt Min Hong had died, and though, the feeling receded a while later, it was enough to frighten her deathly...
She didn't know what she would do if Min Hong were to die… Probably go on a massacre like some religious psycho hell-bent on the rapture? Run mad, perhaps?
But she was very certain that, with the sheer amount of love she had for this man of hers, she might probably do all of the above…
"She reached out to every single one of us, the moment she felt you might have gone missing…" Long Sha walked forward as he sighed in relief before putting an arm on Daniel's shoulder…
"I also had the entire District 10 to District 100 searched…"

"Kun Lin and Kun Chao were of huge help and they each combed more than forty districts altogether…"
"Mu Li and Mu Bai were also able to use their little connections here and there to comb about thirty districts, then I had Little Qing and her search the remaining female districts, whilst I searched the rest myself…"
"We just gathered here about an hour ago with our results yielding no clue about who abducted you, and we were about to go into the inner section of the inner court to check, but that guys brother is there, and he is one of the ones running the entire district…"
Long Sha narrated the entire story as Little Qing added from the sides also with a deeply relieved but anxious expression on her face…
She didn't know why she felt this way, but the moment she heard Min Hong had gone missing, it was like some invisible rope latched onto her heart and forcefully tugged it out, leaving a gaping hole which was only filled with hope that what she heard would be a joke and a lie…
She had nearly fainted at first, and now that he was back, she felt just like Min Qing, to hug Min Hong and also voice whatever had been inside the gaping hole where her heart used to be…
But at the same time, she also understood the stance Min Qing had towards Min Hong, and in such a sensitive situation, she would have to allow Min Qing enjoy her time of outpour without any interference…
Thus, she could only suffer within whilst responding to Min Hong with a face that wouldn't show her abnormal level of worry…
[Author's Thoughts; To all the girls and ladies out there, who find themselves in such a situation… Firstly, I sympathize with you, and secondly; I also urge you to find private moment with the guy in question and let out your feelings… the worst he could do is reject, and since you guys are in a private space, whatever happens in Miami stays in Miami, and you don't have to feel awkward about it, and you would have also received you answer and not keep torturing yourselves in silence… These are just my thoughts inspired by a dear female reader of mine… thanks…]
"It is Shen Tang… Shen Wang's elder brother, and eldest to the Shen Yang you thrashed about six weeks ago…"
"He is the one who is running District 7 and also has close ties with those ruling the other inner court districts…"
Little Qing tried to voice out shakily as she avoided meeting Min Hong's gaze…
Min Hong who had been on the passive side finally resumed control as Daniel left with a wide grin on his face, which Min Hong simply smiled thankfully in response to…
"I am so sorry to have troubled you all…"
"I simply had to face a cultivation breakthrough tribulation and I thought my restrictive measures would be strong enough for it…"
"But as it turned out, I was severely unprepared, so I had to quickly evacuate the area without notice…"
Min Hong responded with an apologetic and awkward expression as the tense atmosphere was finally released when the entire group involuntarily heaved a simultaneous and heavy sigh…
Though there were still some of the group who sensed that Min Hong had just dished out a mixed truth, but they didn't mind as long as he was safe…
Moreover, though they haven't really begun to sacrifice for each other, the best thing about this group is that they believed one another, not completely, but to a certain extent which supports their group's number one rule;
Do not do anything that would harm the interest of the group…

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

The blue Astrum of memories
Some of you believe in fate and some of you don't. That's ok in our world. In the world that I created Fate has been acting strange and selfish for a long time.She was always fascinated with humans and the fact that they had soulmates because a lot of other races didn't. Ever since humans started traveling through space, that opened millions of new opportunities for Fate to make the human soulmates meet.However, because of her strange behaviour Fate made too many mistakes.After that, Fate made what she thought, was a good move. What she didn't count on was that the good move she made knew that you can cheat fate. One and his crew don't know how ironic it is that she chose them to make her good move. ------------------------------- I didn't use any movies, books or series for inspiration the story is my original work. This is just the result of my weird imagination and brain telling me what to write. I hope you liked it :) It’s just a story, like all of my other stores. It doesn’t have a deeper spiritual, moral or ethical meaning.
