After all, Long Sha had given him an order to ensure their safety, thus he had to compromise a little, otherwise, Elder Jun was just planning to drop them their like a tiger cub being pushed down from the cliff or an eagle chick which would be dropped from a very tall height and expect them to evolve and survive or stay the same and die…

Then he will be waiting at the finish point to welcome the three bloody, murderous and brutal beasts he had invested in the forest…

Then when they got to the 21% mark of the forest, Elder Yun ran into a very stubborn and troublesome wolf-like beast that was actually named the Ember Spitter, which had comprehended two Intent Level Daos; the Flame and Metal Dao…

Though it was not a magic beast like she was, but its Flame Dao perfectly countered her Wind Dao and also, it had the Metal Dao for nigh-absolute defense.

Furthermore, Elder Yun had an aerial advantage, so all she did was fly above its attack range whenever it did attack and descend just low enough to land her own attacks…

Adopting such a battle tactics, the Ember Spitter Wolf which got its name because of its ability, was left to passively accumulate damages until it did land one attack.

Just like its name suggested, this beast actually had an ultimate attack that involves it spitting a tiny metal ember which had a delayed explosion properties, and as such caught Elder Yun off-guard who discovered in the nick of time that the explosive radius of such a tiny ember was actually about 200 meters…

Though she fled the scene, she still couldn't escape completely unscathed from such a powerful nascent soul level attack.

Furthermore, seeing that she was actually hurt, this Ember Spitter actually chased Elder Yun for almost an hour before Elder Yun descended into a very dense part of the forest where her silent nature as an Owl enabled her to maneuver herself using the thick foliage as cover before eventually appearing above the oblivious wolf…

It was then that she grabbed it on the neck and spine with her talons before dragging it about 3000 feet into the sky and eventually dropping it in an area full of rocky spikes and cliffs…

Repeating the same action over a dozen times within an hour ensured that this troublesome foe of hers met its unfortunate demise even though it was a nascent soul stage beast…

But from then on, the training only went from hard to h*ll when they realized that the deeper they reached within this volcanic forest, the harder it was for them not to only defeat their opponents but survive also…

This was because the deeper they got, the more unique and sophisticated these beasts became.

There was a time when Yuexing was chasing one of the beasts she had just fought…

It was a black hyena which actually had a flaming mane and two deer-like antlers, it was then escaping from Yuexing with the grievous injuries it had sustained in their fight when it unfortunately ran into a swarm of butterfly looking insects.

The moment Yuexing saw these butterflies, she had luckily and instantly dove into the thick leaves of one stubby but sturdy tree because she could sense that, these harmless looking little flies were everything else but harmless…

Each and every single one of these insects were all in the Peak Dan Formation stage with their Intent Level Flame Dao which was a very common Dao amongst the beasts of this forest due to the presence of the massive volcano…

A harmless butterfly wouldn't need to possess a Peak Dan Formation stage cultivation with Intent Level Flame Dao, right?

Yuexing didn't need to think too much about it as these butterfly looking insects gave her an answer when they swarmed over this injured beast and simply stung it before returning to their activities…

"Is that all?" that was what she had thought at that point until she saw this unfortunate opponent of hers begin to whimper and jerk in agony…

Then she saw the dark skinned hyena actually begin to turn red as waves of heat began to spread with it at the center until it actually exploded into a puddle of molten bones and flesh…

The butterfly looking insects which didn't even spare the hyena a single glance through its suffering and eventual death finally stopped what they were doing and split into two smaller swarms, or so did Yuexing thought…

She was about to leave when she noticed that these butterflies weren't just splitting into smaller swarms, but were actually parting the way for another smaller butterfly which had brighter colors and more defined features in comparison with the rest…

But as adorable as this baby palm-sized butterfly was, it was actually radiating the aura of a 7 Star Nascent Soul stage and on top of that also a Magic beast…

This adorable harmless looking, little butterfly then fluttered cutely over to the fist sized beast core that the molten beast left behind and perched over it as it began to suck out the content of this core as its aura gradually climbed higher and higher…

Yuexing didn't want to wait and find out what level this butterfly would reach as she bolted out of the tree and fled like a rabbit which just had its tail stepped on.

As she fled the scene, she suddenly felt a dangerous sensation wash over her as she quickly looked over and noticed that these butterflies actually saw her and would have chased her if not for the protection their currently defenseless queen needed.

Noticing how they completely lost interest in her, Yuexing forced a heavy but deep sigh of relief through one of her nostrils as she fled the area thanking her ancestors for keeping her core from being served as a delicacy to another…

She then encountered another beast which was just on par with her as she was returning and quickly made short work of the beast which was a 70-foot-long crossbreed of a python and a cobra with fiery venoms dripping out of its massive maws which it would occasionally launch or shoot at Yuexing who evaded it with a condescending expression plastered on her face…

It didn't take more than ten swipe of Yuexing's claws which she had wrapped her Intent Level Metal Dao around, before the serpent succumbed to the eternal embrace of its ancestors.

But despite the fact that she had escaped her episode of wining and dining with death, Yuexing was in no way relieved because she knew that, to reach the volcano and become the overlords of this forest, they would still encounter that swarm of adorable butterflies and would still need to defeat them to complete their three year blood-roiling training…

But today, they had a more pressing and deadly matter at hand…

Elder Yun had caught the eye of this lecherous Firebird, which was initially chasing her because it was trying to steal Little Ming who it thought was the food Elder Yun just captured and was about to feast on…

With the innate characteristics of a frigate bird, these firebird species do not hunt for their own food, but rather behave like pirates and hijack those who are just returning from their hunts…

Thus, it was planning on hijacking Little Ming off Elder Yun when it noticed that the bird he was trying to steal from was a matchless beauty…

Overwhelmed and led by his perverse and lustful intention, he had actually chased the fleeing Elder Yun for so long that he had actually failed to realize that he was no longer within his territory…

Though, it was stronger than any of the Elder Yun trio as it was a 4 Star Nascent Soul spirit beast whilst Elder Yun was just a pinhole away from forming her second nascent soul, then Yuexing was a 4 Star Dan Formation stage magic beast and lastly, Little Ming who was a 5 Star Dan Formation stage magic beast…

So, even if they were to combine their strengths together, they still wouldn't be a match for this firebird which is why Little Ming was currently only a thought away from activating the talisman in her possession should in case this haughty pervert decided to start doing something untoward…

But when she saw the firebird actually stop and just stand there looking at them, she instantly scrapped the idea of wasting such a precious protective resource when they have not even reached 50% of their entire training journey, after all, they only had three talismans for this entire training journey…

But even at that, she still remained vigilant and positioned herself in a stance where she would be able to effectively serve the talisman to the perverse firebird…

"Kree!"

After watching the three female beasts tremble in fright for so long, the firebird cried and then turned around and flew away with a smug and haughty expression plastered all over its face…

It seemed that its intention from the very start to this point was to make these three beauties surrender under its despotic might…

"This pervert, what kind of outcome is this?"

Little Ming who had been mentally prepared for every possible outcome of this confrontation still found herself dumbfounded by this outcome

Who would have thought that this firebird which had been chasing them like a pervert in a female bathroom (See Jiraiya in Naruto) would just leave like that…

After ensuring that it had really left, the duo climbed atop Elder Yun as they turned around looking to flee in the opposite direction of the firebird that just left, but the moment they picked their direction and looked up ahead, Yuexing who was atop Elder Yun abruptly froze in fright to the extent that she almost fell of the moving Elder Yun…

Up ahead they saw the swarm of butterfly which Yuexing met when she was chasing after her training victim, a loud warning or danger alarm went off within Yuexing's head as she hurriedly blurted at Elder Yun;

"Follow that firebird!"

"What? Follow it? Are you forking insane?"

Little Ming reacted like someone who had heard the most unreasonable and stupid statement ever made since the creation of the cosmos as she nearly fell off Elder Yun…

"Trust me, if we use that talisman against that pervert we will still have a chance at surviving, but I bet you that, against these incoming adorable little guys, we wouldn't be able to leave here alive even if we used all the talismans in our possession…"

Elder Yun who was flying forward abruptly made a very clean arc as she turned their initial direction 180 degrees before letting loose with her fastest speed.

"Since it was the one who chased us till we ended up meeting these guys, he would naturally also be the one to get rid of this problem…" Elder Yun fumed as she spoke through gritted beaks (Lol… this hit me!)

They were being chased from behind by a swarm of Peak Dan Formation butterfly looking insects which had a 7 Star Nascent Soul stage queen amongst their ranks, there was no way in 'earl' they are facing such a line up…

Before long, the firebird was already in Elder Yun's sight as she sped up significantly whilst using her Intent Level Wind Dao to boost her speed…

As a nascent soul stage beast, they firebird knew he was being followed and when it looked back to see who had the audacity to tail him, he saw the three beauties he had just left as it thought to itself;

"Can't get enough of me, unh?"

"I bet they really fell for my façade and are now trying to-"

It wanted to continue bragging when he noticed something was up with these three beauties that were chasing after him like their lives depended on it, or did it?

Then the moment they were about ten meters from him, they were now so close that he could finally see the true reason why he was being chased as he blanched in fear, sending all his feathers standing on end and just like a scared tom, it bolted towards the deeper region of the forest as Elder Yun followed suit…

Now, there were both being chased and if someone was to look at the scenario from the ground, they would see a huge bird miserably fleeing from some bunch of adorable looking harmless butterfly or they would see a seemingly stronger bird that was also miserably fleeing from three female beasts, and no matter the perspective one wanted to view this from, it was still a very hilarious sight…
