The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 130

Lang Su would have been able to stay longer if she had not used her powers to attack, but Min Qing's body was too weak to handle a fraction of her powers.
Furthermore, if she should reduce her power output, she knew fully well that she would not be a match for Little Wu alone, not to talk of the rest of them, so she had to return.
After all, she wouldn't want to injure her perfect vessel.
Thus, the moment she spotted a slight opening, she dashed towards Min Qing and straight into the seal within her forehead as she left Min Hong a message;
"You're so shameless, how could you touch and grab a little girl such as myself in such an inappropriate manner."
"We will be seeing each other very soon, and I will be sure to pass your shameless acts to my father before then…"
Lang Su already knew that with Min Qing abruptly seizing control over parts of her body at critical intervals, and with the interference of Little Lin, Little Wu and his staff, she was going to be fighting a losing battle.
After all, she was still in deep slumber and could only muster a tenth of her full powers in her current state.
But before she left, she wiped the memories of every spectator within the arena.
After all, someone of her class and level wouldn't want others see her being picked upon by some little vermin, especially not her siblings who would rub it in her face at every turn.
The moment she left the time effects on the arena began to wane and gradually fade. Thus, Little Wu and the rest bolted into Min Hong as they returned into his Mind Palace.
The reason they were able to show themselves was because of the time effect Lang Su created.
Though they were soul bodies and wouldn't be able to stay in the human world in that form due to some serious reasons (which will be explained later on…) and the tribulation lightning that occasionally descend on soul and ghosts who refuse to return to the yellow springs of the underworld.
But that doesn't mean they couldn't step outside for a brief moment and then return.
Then if one were to include the time effect that Lang Su caused which turned a second outside the arena to an hour within it.
That means everything that had happened so far occurred under half of a second. Thus, they were in and out under one second.
By the time everyone was gone, Min Qing had already recovered whilst Min Hong was already back on his seat brooding on everything that just happened with a very deep and ominous frown etched onto his face.
Then in less than a second, the time effect completely vanished and a spine tingling, soul wrenching and nightmare inducing scream rang across the stage;
"Aahhhh Haahaa hahaaa! My arm!" Yuan Chun's scream jolted everyone's attention to the arena stage.

They were all gobsmacked at the new development, to them in one moment, Yuan Chun was launching a shameless sneak attack and in the other moment, her entire arm was blasted into shreds.
But most importantly, there was no blood anywhere, only Min Qing who stood there still gazing at the injured Yuan Chun.
Min Qing then continued to descend off the stage.
She was already exhausted from the brief exposure she had with Lang Su, also she was yet to adapt to her new found powers and divine abilities.
Thus, she didn't even care anymore about the challenge or staying in District 21 or 22, she just wanted to rest, meditate and reflect on everything that just happened.
Though she wasn't in control of her body and her consciousness was occupied by a stranger, especially a demonic one with a paramount identity.
Furthermore, there is the 'Imperial Seal' that Min Hong had just embedded within her soul.
So, she really needed a me-time as she had passed through more in one day, than what she had experienced in her entire lifetime and it was a whole lot to take in.
Min Hong was also feeling conflicted at the moment.
He had done what he did because there was no way he could have stopped Lang Su's God-sense from possessing Min Qing.
He had contacted Little Wu in the heat of the moment and Little Wu explained to him that with the 'minion mark', Min Qing would instinctively follow the desires of her master which would be to fight Lang Su for the control of her consciousness.
Then as long as Min Qing interfered with the process, Lang Su would have to be battling on two fronts; one from within and the other from the outside.
If that were to happen, then she was guaranteed to lose, but luckily for them, as they forced her to use her cultivation, she had unintentionally put a strain on Min Qing.
As a result was forced to either return or get stuck outside where all they would have to do is to delay her till the tribulation lightning descends.
Thus, she chose to flee, which was what they were looking for in the first place, because if push came to shove, they knew fully well that they won't be able to completely stop her.
Moreover, the 'Imperial Edict' seal Min Hong stamped on her wasn't meant to subjugate her, but rather, Little WU had told him to try it out, that it should at least be able to affect Lang Su one way or the other.
Luckily for him it did affect her slightly, causing her earlier change in expression.
But just as Min Qing wanted to leave the stage, Yuan Chun angrily bellowed through gritted teeth;
"Don't you think this is over! I will surely repay you for what you have done today."
Min Qing suddenly halted her steps and without looking backwards, she sighed softly and replied with a slight hint of anger;

"It seems you have not understood the statement I just made…"
Then she waved her hands as if trying to swat away a buzzing fly near her ears.
Swoosh!
Suddenly a sinister gate that gave everyone a deep sensation of the underworld appeared and instantly swung open as gallons upon gallons of yellow water which seemed to have streamed out of the yellow springs rushed out and engulfed Yuan Chun.
By the time the yellow springs water completely washed over her, everyone watching the duel in the arena gasped in shock;
Yuan Chun looked to have aged another ten years as slight wrinkles appeared all over her body, then she fell face first due to exhaustion and loss of massive amounts of vitality.
Then before she completely fainted, Min Qing's words floated into her ears;
"Do you get my message now?" she said.
When she heard that statement, Yuan Chun threw up a mouthful of blood before she finally fainted.
"What a mysterious and strange Water Dao…"
Elder Shi commented in a low voice as she kept staring at Min Qing who took away Yuan Chun's storage ring.
But as Min Hong was about to rip off Yuan Chun's bond with the storage ring, Yue Yao suddenly dashed of her seat and formed a flame sword in her hands as intending to attack Min Qing.
But the moment she left her seat, Elder Jiang was about to interfere when Elder Peng stopped him with a raise of his hand, apparently, he was interested in seeing the outcome.
Though Yue Yao left her seat with astonishing speed catching nearly everyone watching the duel off guard, but Min Hong moved even faster as he appeared in front of her before she could even get on stage.
Yue Yao snorted and slashed at Min Hong with her sword.
Then;
Boom!
A massive explosion ensued as golden-red flames covered both of them causing almost every outer court disciple to lean forward in their seats as they stared intently at the point of collision anticipating the outcome of the exchange.
Then about a few breaths later the flames finally dissipated like it was being sucked away. When the entire crowd saw the outcome, they all gasped in shock.
Then;
"Hisss!"
Many outer court disciples drew in a long breath of air at the sight they were currently witnessing.
They were currently looking at a Min Hong who had his hands raised with Yue Yao's overbearing golden-red flame sword caught between two of his fingers.
Furthermore, Min Hong's two fingers were currently engulfed in a mysterious pitch-black energy.
"He actually caught her Flame Dao sword with only two fingers… What in Huoyi's beard just happened?"
One outer court disciple blurted out in shock as he almost fell over from leaning too much from his seat.
Min Hong then looked flatly and bluntly at Yue Yao before he slowly spoke in a condescending tone to the Yue Yao who was still trying to shove her Flame Dao sword out of Min Hong's two finger grasp;
"That is a pretty shameless and despicable thing to do, don't you think? This only goes to show that you are a very pitiful and sore loser." Min Hong said.
His voice was very audible and abusing Yue Yao who had always received flattery and fawns from everybody she had ever met was very upsetting and unacceptable to her.
So, she snorted coldly and disregarded the Flame Dao sword which was instantly sucked away due to losing its source of fuel.
Then she formed a Flame Dao shield in her other arm looking to smash Min Hong with it.
But Min Hong simply threw a punch, it wasn't a fancy punch nor did it have any form of Dao energy or Qi around it.
It was just a fist strike backed up with only Min Hong's body cultivation.
But because Min Hong just achieved a 20 percent bloodline purity about some minutes ago, the fist completely smashed the shield as it broke into countless shards before turning into flames that vanished instantly.
Then with one same fluid movement, the fist Min Hong just used to smash the Flame Dao shield opened into a palm as he sent a vicious slap towards Yue Yao;
"Pa!"
A crisp smacking sound rang out across the entire arena as Yue Yao was sent tumbling about three metres away. By the time she stabilized herself, her cheeks were already red and swollen.
She spat out the blood in her mouth as two teeth came out with the blood.
Min Hong had just slapped her with his full body cultivation, which though was still in the Peak King stage, but because of the bloodline purity and effects it had on his physical body made it equivalent to that of an expert in the 5 Star Emperor stage.
This caused nearly all the disciples in the arena to gasp in shock. Some girls nearly went berserk at the way Min Hong's slap nearly broke Yue Yao's neck, as one of them screamed;
"So beastly. You are not a gentleman at all. Have you never been told that it is not okay to lay your hands on a lady?"
One of Yue Yao's followers blurted from her seat.
Finding some sort of new energy because of the support she had just rallied from the crowd; Yue Yao formed another Flame Dao sword.
But this time, she was also fully clad in her golden-red flame battle armour.
Then dashed towards Min Hong once again in a bid to reclaim her shattered pride.
Seeing this Min Hong could not help but sigh as he murmured softly; "Why are you so eager to take a thrashing? I guess it is my turn to make a statement…"
After saying that in a tone which was silent but still heard by many, Min Hong took a single step and vanished from the spot.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
