Du Juan sighed. “It’s no use even if you go, Tianxin. The city has been developed. A lot has changed since then. Most of the things that I grew up seeing were now gone.”
“The school is still there.”
Ye Tianxin’s fingers slid gently across the stamp on the envelope.
This was the university her mother once attended.
“Do you want me to accompany you?” Du Juan offered.
Ye Tianxin shook her head. “No, I want to go alone.”
Ye Tianxin found a piece of paper and a pen, then wrote some important points on the paper.
She picked up the old photo of Ye Linlang and said to Du Juan, “Godmother, I also want to wear this outfit and take a photo.”
In the photo, Ye Linlang was beaming beautifully.
Behind Ye Linlang, the eight characters of the university’s school motto were particularly eye-catching.
“Fairness can change with each passing day.”
“Let me accompany you. You’re a girl, so I’m worried that it won’t be safe for you to go alone,” Du Juan insisted on accompanying Ye Tianxin.

The photographer then took an opportunity to make business for himself.

“Will you charge more money?” Ye Tianxin asked.
Of course she didn’t care about the money. She just wanted to be sure.
Upon hearing Ye Tianxin’s question, the photographer felt a little embarrassed.
“It’s a piece of cake, so why would I charge more? You wait. It will be done in a while.”
