Yan Jun could not help but frown. To him, or to be more exact, to everyone else, Ye Tianxin was a ball of sunshine.

She radiated with her own light and brought warmth to them.

“Tianxin, if me liking you has bothered you, then I am very sorry. You don’t have to dig up excuses just to reject me. “No, I do not need a back-up plan.”

“Yes,” Ye Tianxin admitted. There was no point in keeping it from Yan Jun.

Yan Jun was upset, but he continued to probe, “Would you have fallen in love with me if I had met you first?”

“No,” Ye Tianxin answered matter-of-factly.

“If I had not met him then, I admit that my life would be much more difficult than it is right now. Perhaps I would not be as happy as I am today.
