Ye Tianxin bit her lips. She would ask Director Jin when the time comes if she could film that scene at an angle so she would not have much skin contact with Yan Jun.

She liked Li Qingcang.

She liked him so much that she did not want to be intimate with any other man.

“Tianxin, Yan Jun, are you two ready? We are about to start the shoot.”

Ying Tao and Zhou Hong arrived at a little forest beside the lake. There was a lake in the forest.

Many fireflies flitted around on the grassland by the lake. The scene looked very dreamy and beautiful.

Ying Tao stretched her hand out and caught a firefly with her hand. Then, she slowly unfurled her fingers and let it go.

Actually, there were not any fireflies in the forest while they were filming.

The entire scene was dependent on Ye Tianxin’s performance. Fortunately, with Li Zhiwei’s help, there were no problems at all with Ye Tianxin’s acting.

Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun’s voices were going to be used for the movie. As such, Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun’s manner of speaking while they acted had to be perfect.

Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun had never studied in a film academy and had started acting without any formal training. However, they also benefited because of this.

Their expressions were very natural and did not look as if they were meticulously crafted as they would have been if they had attended a film academy.

Perhaps some people might think that acting was very easy.

They just had to stand in front of the camera and memorize a few lines.

This was not the case, though.

Director Jin was an acclaimed director, and he had high expectations for his actors. Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun had several NGs and had to retake a scene over and over again.

They didn’t cause the NG all the time. Sometimes it was because of camera angles.

It was already 10 in the evening by the time they were done with that scene.

Ye Tianxin leaned against Guan Chenxi, exhausted. “Elder Sister Chenxi, I can’t move my legs anymore,” she moaned. “My back hurt. I’m so tired.”

“Do you want me to carry you on my back?”

Guan Chenxi used to be in the military after all. Even if she were to carry Ye Tianxin on her back, she would still be able to run fast.

“No need,” Ye Tianxin refused. “I’ll just lean against you for a while.”

Guan Chenxi handed her a thermos flask. “This is some Luo Han Guo tea. It’s good for your throat.”

“Elder Sister Chenxi, you’re the best. Any man who marries you will be very lucky.”

Guan Chenxi did not say anything. She never did talk much, so Ye Tianxin was not bothered.

After returning to the hotel, Ye Tianxin was too tired to call Li Qingcang.

After taking a shower and putting on a plant extract mask, Ye Tianxin plugged her earphones, listened to Li Qingcang’s voice, and dozed off.

Meanwhile, Yan Jun was not as lucky as Ye Tianxin.

He had only just returned to his room when he received a call from Jing Zhichen.

“Bro, how was your night? I am too tired to speak.”

Jing Zhichen harrumphed and asked in a low voice, “How did your shoot go today? Did you bully our Tianxin? Let me tell you, be nice to our Tianxin, okay? Otherwise, I will tear you apart.”

Yan Jun did not have the strength to argue with Jing Zhichen. “Bro, shall I pursue Tianxin?”

“How dare you!” Jing Zhichen yelled on the phone. “Stay away from our Tianxin. You can’t be with her when you guys aren’t filming. You rascal! Do you feel anything special for her? Are you in love with her? I will make you leave this country!”

“Bro, you’re so…you’re so bossy!”

Yan Jun hung up, picked up his script, and flipped a page.

He felt a little ill at ease.

He seemed to have really fallen in love with Ye Tianxin.

He did not know if it was Zhou Hong who liked Ying Tao.

Or if it was Yan Jun who liked Ye Tianxin.

He was uncertain about this.

“Yan Jun, get a grip on yourself.”

Yan Jun patted his face.
