“Then can you please tell Elder Brother Li that I have already arrived on set and the crew are all very nice to me. Everything is going well.”

Yan Ge nodded and kept what Ye Tianxin had said in mind. He did not bother to make small talk with Ye Tianxin and just hung up.

Ye Tianxin covered her face and fell back onto the bed.

She held one end of the blanket close to her and rolled around, wrapping herself like a burrito.

She missed Elder Brother Li so much.

She missed him very much, every day.

Ye Tianxin rolled around for a while. She then took her script and began to study it. She was very familiar with the lines and even memorized them.

Ye Tianxin flipped to the last page of the script.

On the last page was the scene in which the main female character, Ying Tao, carried an urn in her arms, standing in front of a tiny cherry blossom sapling. She reached into the urn and took out a fistful of ashes, letting the gentle breeze take the ashes with it.

Ye Tianxin closed her eyes, and she imagined what the scene was like.

The sky should be very blue, and there was a gentle breeze.

The trees behind Ying Tao had cherry blossoms on them.

Ye Tianxin felt a pang of pain in her heart by just imagining the scene.

Ying Tao must have been very sad.

However, she did not cry.

Ye Tianxin opened her eyes and stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom as if she were standing in front of a camera…

“Ying Tao, I want to discuss the script with you. If you haven’t gone to bed, shall we read our lines together?”

Ye Tianxin opened the door then. Yan Jun saw that Ye Tianxin was wearing a nightgown and that her hair was still wet. She looked refreshing, like a flower emerging from a pool of water.

“Let’s go to your room. I will come over once I get changed.”

“Alright.”

Yan Jun nodded in agreement.

Ye Tianxin closed the door and started changing. She used the phone in her room to call Guan Chenxi. She asked Guan Chenxi to go with her to Yan Jun’s room.

Thirty minutes later, Ye Tianxin and Guan Chenxi were at Yan Jun’s room.

The three sat down on the sofa, and Ye Tianxin pulled out her script. She quickly asked Yan Jun, “Which scene shall we read?”

“This one, where Ying Tao and Zhou Hong are reunited in the hospital and Zhou Hong confessed to her.”

Ye Tianxin nodded.

She lowered her head and flipped through the script.

Yan Jun was a little nervous as well. Director Jin had not been very satisfied with the first test shot they had done today. He had to immerse himself in his character, Zhou Hong, as soon as possible and be able to manifest Zhou Hong’s emotions.
