Chapter 202: The First Scene (2)

Fortunately, Director Jin was a famous director, and all of those who worked for him were competent.

All workers were in position less than an hour later.

Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun were meeting in the movie for the first time. They were also not familiar with each other in real life. That was why the scene was actually rather similar to real life.

Director Jin glanced at Yan Jun. Yan Jun was wearing a white shirt as he ran into the carriage, in panic and rumpled.

A few men approached the entrance of the carriage.

His fingertip was a little cold.

When he had put it on her lips, it felt as if her lips were kissing his finger.

He could hear a voice in her heart saying, “Yes, it’s him.”

This was the fateful first meeting between her and Zhou Hong.

Director Jin looked at Tianxin and Yan Jun behind the monitor. The camera angle was great, and the two were very young. They matched the age of their characters in the script well.

Their faces were filled with youth and vitality, and Director Jin could not help but anticipate their next performance.

After the first scene ended, Director Jin gestured for Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun to come and see him.

“Do you see what’s wrong?”

Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun both shook their heads. What had they seen?

There were no problems with their performance.

“You two have read the script. It is written in the script that the characters’ eyes met. Did you two talk with your eyes? Especially you, Tianxin. There were no problems with your performance earlier, but you’ve put yourself into a box. The feeling between Ying Tao and Zhou Hong should be that of love at first sight. You two have to make the audience interested in your story. Also, you, Yan Jun, your gaze isn’t right at this part…”

Only the conversations between characters were written in the script.

As the male and female leads, Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun had to exemplify the characters using these simple conversations.

If the script only had the conversation between Ying Tao and Zhou Hong, then the task Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun had to complete today was to make the characters come to life.

“Director Jin, I don’t really understand what you mean.”

Yan Jun knew how difficult it was to be able to act in one of Director Jin’s films. He had to treasure this opportunity.
