Grandmother nodded.

“Go to bed. You’ve worked hard.”

Ye Tianxin went to her bedroom. She had not received any text messages from Li Qingcang.

She hesitated for a moment before sending a text message to Li Qingcang.

[Ye Tianxin: Elder Brother Li, I will be joining the film set tomorrow. It is a closed set. I will miss you a lot.]

Ye Tianxin lay down and fell asleep after sending the text message.

The next day, she went to take her graduation photos as planned.

She wore a white dress and stood in the middle of the first row. The image of her long hair and her soft smile was captured and immortalized forever in that graduation photo.

After taking the graduation photos, Ye Tianxin stood in front of the college wall in Jiameng High School.

“Tianxin, will we not be able to meet again?” Li Xiaohui asked sadly, holding Ye Tianxin’s hand. She could not bear to part with Ye Tianxin.

Li Xiaohui walked Ye Tianxin to a car parked outside the school and waved at her.

Ye Tianxin reached the film set and was greeted by Du Juan. “Little Tianxin, you’ve grown even more!” Du Juan remarked.

“Mom, I am done with the college entrance exams.”

Du Juan smiled and asked, “How was it? Are you confident about the results?”

Du Juan gave Ye Tianxin a thumbs-up. “You don’t even have much time to relax for a bit after the college entrance exams. Oh, right, let me introduce you to Li Zhiwei.” Du Juan motioned at the woman at the corner. “She is an acting instructor from Capital Film Academy. I hired her for you.”

Li Zhiwei looked at Du Juan and was surprised. “Du Juan, you’ve hidden this well from me.”

Li Zhiwei was an examiner when Ye Tianxin had auditioned at the Capital Film Academy.

“Ye Tianxin, why didn’t you come for the second screening?”

Li Zhiwei felt that it was a lost opportunity for Ye Tianxin. Ye Tianxin had such great potential. Her acting at the preliminary auditions had been impressive.

“Miss Li, I missed the second test because my grandmother was ill,” Ye Tianxin explained.

“Alright. Zhiwei, even if Tianxin had gone for the second screening, the Film Academy will not be able to keep her. Her first choice is Capital University.”

Li Zhiwei was stunned by what Du Juan had said.

“Capital University?” Li Zhiwei gave Ye Tianxin a thumbs-up. She continued, “That’s awesome. But I will still encourage you to go to my school. Tianxin, do you want to consider joining the Capital Film Academy?”

Ye Tianxin shook her head. “Thank you for thinking so highly of me, Miss Li. But I won’t be working in the movie industry in the future.”
