Chapter 183: Ye Youran Commits Suicide (1)

Li Qingcang coming to celebrate Ye Tianxin’s 18th birthday was something that made Ye Tianxin both happy and sad.

Ye Tianxin had nightmares the entire night.

Snippets of her past life played one after the other. She was sweating profusely.

Gu Yancheng’s cold expression as well as Li Qingcang’s lovely face appeared in Ye Tianxin’s mind.

When Ye Tianxin heard the swishing sound of someone sweeping the floor, she opened her eyes, breathing heavily. Then she stared at nothing for a long while.

Everything that happened was just a dream. But that’s not what she was worried about.

She was afraid that she would return to her past life once she woke up.

She was afraid that she had not died and had just been sent to the hospital.

And all that had happened was just a dream.

“Tianxin, where did you go last night?” Grandmother asked when she pushed open Ye Tianxin’s door and saw that Ye Tianxin had already woken up but had not gotten out of bed.

Ye Tianxin sat up slowly when she saw her grandmother. “Elder Brother Li came to celebrate my birthday with me last night,” she replied as she stretched out her arms. “We went out to the riverside and stayed there for a while.”

“That child, Li, is so busy with work, but he still came to celebrate your birthday. It has been hard on him.”

Ye Tianxin remembered how surprised she was when she saw Li Qingcang last night and how she almost jumped for joy.

She liked him.

She liked him very much.

“Grandmother, do you think Elder Brother Li is a good person?” Ye Tianxin asked with a wide smile.

Grandmother did not know why Ye Tianxin was asking this, but she answered honestly, “That boy Li is a rather good person. I hope that he can be my grandson-in-law in the future.”

“Grandmother!”

Ye Tianxin blushed. She wondered if her grandmother already knew how she felt about Li Qingcang.

When a girl was in love, she was blooming. There was something positive in her aura.

To others, her love was obvious and could not be hidden.

“Elder Brother Li probably will not become your grandson-in-law…”

Grandmother’s brows furrowed. “Why not?”

“I am not good enough for Elder Brother Li.”

Ye Tianxin frowned and asked, “What happened to Youran?”

“I received a phone call that Youran had committed suicide,” Auntie Zhu revealed. Her lips were quivering, eyes filled with tears. “She wanted to see you before she entered the operation theater. I am begging you, Tianxin. Please go and take a look at our Youran.”
