“Elder Sister Chenxi, why did you bring me here?”

Ye Tianxin did not understand what Guan Chenxi wanted to show her.

Guan Chenxi picked up half a candle and a plastic bottle. “I found this here earlier,” she informed Ye Tianxin.

Ye Tianxin was filled with worry and fear.

She looked at the two items and understood what they were.

It was no ordinary fire. It was arson.

“I will call the cops now.”

Ye Tianxin looked at Auntie Zhu and replied, “Where’s Ye Youran?”

“Youran’s at her room, sleeping.”

Ye Tianxin ran up the stairs and pushed Ye Youran’s door open.

Ye Youran was surprised to see Ye Tianxin in her room. “What’s the matter?”

“Ye Youran, tell me the truth,” Ye Tianxin demanded. “Were you the one who set the fire?”

Ye Tianxin’s words shocked Auntie Zhu. She chimed in, “Tianxin, what nonsense are you saying?”

“Ye Youran, I’m giving you a chance right now. Tell me, were you the one who set the fire?”

Ye Youran sat on the edge of her bed. A small smile formed on her lips.

Oh, Ye Tianxin! That’s what you get for being so arrogant!
