Chasing After My Wife Chapter 151

"You can't buy me with your sweet words! Just give up on that." Jillyanna snickered with her muffled voice under the blanket.
"Wifey, it's cold to sleep outside." he played the pitiful card but Jillyanna just turned her back on him.
"Wifey, it isn't good for a man to sleep outside. Shouldn't a wife keep her husband from going out?"
"I'm not your wife."
"Wifey, don't get mad at me. I promise I won't talk about it."
No response again.
"Wifey, I won't tease you again."
Still no response.
"Jill I know I promised not to talk about it again but honestly, I clearly remembered the time you confessed. You may hate me for saying this even after telling me not to talk about it but I'd rather have things cleared up between us instead of sleeping with anger." he paused for awhile to see any response from her but she remained quiet. "Jill, I was really happy when you told me you like me but jealousy clouded over my judgement. I'm sorry."
He talked again and again but there was still no response from her. Travis pulled her close and removed the blanket from her face.
All this time, he was talking to her but she was already sound asleep. For the first time, she slept early than her usual bedtime routine.
Travis smiled and kissed her forehead as he hugged her to sleep. Since she didn't insist on throwing him out, it means that she's alright with him sleeping beside her.
The time ticked quickly and the next morning came. Travis was still hugging her and she was sleeping in his arms, head leaning on his chest and one of her hand was hugging his waist.
The morning light shone brightly and lit up their room. Jillyanna felt the warmth spreading to her and she slowly opened her eyes.

She kissed his jaw and lightly and moved away from him but Travis pulled her back in his arms.
"So you didn't sleep outside huh! How shameless!" Jillyanna snickered but didn't really wish him to actually sleep outside.
"I don't mind acting shameless around you." Travis kissed her face and hugged her tightly.
Jillyanna didn't say a thing and just let him cuddle her. 'It's actually good waking up beside the person you love.' She noted mentally and hugged him back.
They cuddled a little bit more before she decided to finally get up and do some light exercise after washing her face.
Her baby was no longer at risk and the doctor gave her some set of exercises that she can do at home. She still got her yoga mat so she was able to do some stretching.
"Don't overdo it." Travis reminded her.
She just nodded her head and continued her exercise. She only spent half an hour before stopping to rest.
'Knock! Knock! Knock!'
Jillyanna looked towards Travis and signaled him to open the door. As the good husband, he followed her command and opened the door to see Savannah and Hawk standing outside.
"You guys are leaving now." Travis asked them.
"Hn. We'll have to check the place today." Savannah answered.
"Be careful on your mission. Don't forget to bring the communication device. I need to know you're both safe on the other side."
"We prepared it already. Thank you. We'll head out now." Hawk responded in his full baritone voice.
"Come home as soon as possible." Jillyanna called out to them which made Savannah smile.
"We will." Savannah replied before turning around and left with Hawk following behind her like a knight.
Travis was planning to meet the architect who would build the extension of the house as well as the interior designer and other relevant people for a meeting that day.

"Are we going to Venus Plaza today even though it's weekend?" Jillyanna asked him when he told her to dress herself up.
"Yes we are. However, it's not for work. We will be meeting the people who will help us construct the extension on Tuesday next week."
"That's quick!" she uttered in surprise and excitement.
"It's normal. Anyway, after this meeting, we will visit Dad and stay there for dinner before coming back here."
"Sure sure." Jillyanna agreed enthusiastically. "Can I film this and share this with my fans?" she asked him.
"Go ahead." Travis indulged her with her request.
Last time, she uploaded the video of her and Travis, many people went wild and supported them. Some people still bashed her or sometimes bash Travis. It was already a normal occurrence and she didn't mind it at all.
As long as she can make her fans happy by watching her do what she's up to, that's what matters for her.
She made sure to bring her camera and started filming from her room. She introduced their plans for the whole day and even captured Travis who was busy checking for her coat.
"Let's just grab some food on the way to the office." Jillyanna suggested as she wear the shoes that he picked for her.
"That's fine with me. Any cravings for today?"
"None. I'm fine with simple meals."
They went downstairs together, holding each other's hands just like every other couple in the world. Travis was also holding her bag for her they walk towards the garage.
"Let's use my car?" Jillyanna suggested since his cars were very high profile and she didn't want anything to happen to them just like what happened back at the hospital.
"I don't mind it. Give me your keys." Travis asked her and handed her bag to her.
Jillyanna opened her bag and pulled out a car key from it's small pouches. She gave it to Travis and let him open the door for her.
He leaned close to her and fastened her seatbelt for her. Even though he had done it several times, Jillyanna's heart would still skip a beat when he came so close to her.
Without saying a thing, he stole another kiss from her.

A Fool fooling around in another world
Do you think that a story, where the MC isn't dense as lead, would be fun? Do you think that a story, where flags are intentionally set, would be interesting? Do you think that a story, where the MC isn't a wimp, would be a nice change for once? ...No? Oh... that's not the answer I expected.

The Ginsu Mage
Currently in queue: Episode 13 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Friday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. The Gunsu Mage is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his kitchen applicances, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.
