Chasing After My Wife Chapter 130

Valkyrie was in a foul mood when they got home early in the morning. He didn't talk to anyone at all.
"Hey! Valkyrie, can we talk this out?" Savannah called out, walking briskly to catch up with him. "Tsutumatte Kudasai Anderson!" she spoke in a hurry which was in her native language meaning 'please wait'.
Valkyrie turned around to face her. His face was blank and his eyes were lifeless. "Let me take a rest. I'm exhausted."
That's it. He walked to his room and closed the door in front of them. Savannah could only sigh in her heart. Even so, he still tried to be slow and gentle as much as he could to avoid disturbing Jillyanna.
He opened the closet and found that Brown's personal belongings were gone. Only a few shirts and pants were left. "Ha! Love? That's how feeble your love is? You couldn't even fight back and just left."
He was mocking him silently but his tears were welling up in his eyes. 'Why didn't anyone tell me about this?' he thought to himself but he couldn't come up with an answer.
He rummaged through his things to find any clue that could tell him where he's going to find Brown but, just like those criminals they were catching, Brown didn't leave any trace.
Later on, Travis came knocking on his door. It was almost noon and Jillyanna just woke so he got the chance to visit him.
"It's time for lunch." Travis told him from the outside of his room.
"I'm not hungry." he responded without even bothering to open the door.
This went on for almost three days and everyone started worrying for him. The only assurance they have that he's still alive was his bored answer.

Savannah could no longer take his sulking so she went to his room. Travis and Hawk followed behind her just in case Valkyrie would lose his mind.
Jillyanna just waited in the living room since it wasn't her business to butt in to their personal issues.
With the master key from Jillyanna, Savannah opened the door without knocking. They saw him slouching in a couch with a beer in his hand.
"What the fuck are you doing? Don't die in here! Go somewhere else if you really want to die." Savannah yelled and slapped his face to sober him up.
Valkyrie looked at her before shifting his gaze to Hawk and Travis. He laughed mockingly and raised his hand which was holding the beer. "You knew! All of you knew. But nobody told me! Why?!" He stood up to rush at them with his anger but he slumped on the floor from being dizzy.
He picked himself up and staggered his way to the bed. He didn't care about them at all. "Did you know that your cousin was going to take him?"
This question was directed at Travis but he didn't flinched from his anger at all. "I knew he was going to leave and I knew it was Winter who's taking him."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Why don't you ask yourself? Why didn't Brown tell you?" Hawk spoke with his baritone voice. This stunned Valkyrie and made him speechless.
"Isn't it your fault that he left? Did you not notice how much he suffered just by looking at you? Didn't you see how broken he was since years ago? Heh! Valkyrie, I never thought you'd be so cruel to the person who valued you the most. You shouldn't have led him to believe that you actually care when you don't! Just stop pretending already!" Savannah yelled at him. Her pent up anger and frustration just burst out.

Valkyrie shook his head from side to side. "You don't know anything. Don't judge me because you don't know anything."
"Yeah. We don't know anything! Brown didn't know anything! Isn't that the reason why he left?" Savannah asked one last time and left him to reflect on his own.
"Give it some thought. Face yourself." Hawk commented and followed Savannah out of the room.
Travis could only shrug his shoulders at him. "Come out and eat when you've sobered up." He closed the door behind him when he got out.
Only Valkyrie can solve his issue. They had been reminding him constantly ever since they were at the military camp not to fool around Brown if he didn't have the same feelings as the person. What did he do? He worsened it.
Valkyrie was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling with his blurry vision. The smiling Brown, the upset Brown, the angry Brown, the kind Brown, from the younger Brown until the current him, they were all flashing across his mind.
He couldn't stop his tears from falling. Ever since he was young, he knew his gender preference. However, since his father was a military doctor he acted like some manly kids out there.
When Brown arrived, he was skinny and emaciated but his eyes were cheerful and lovely. Dr. Anderson, a military doctor decided to adopt him, giving Valkyrie some company. Though he was adopted, he was only given a different name because Brown wanted to keep his mother's last name.
Since then, Valkyrie was becoming livelier to have a little brother. But, it didn't last long. As they grew older, when Valkyrie finally bloomed, he kept having weird dreams of him at night and sometimes woke from it with a hard on.
He started feeling guilty about him and started putting some distance between them. Since Brown was born intelligent and smart, he was able to catch up with his father even though he didn't go to formal school before.
Valkyrie thought that he won't be able to spend time with him anymore and that made him feel a little bit happy. After all, he was guilty from using him as his model while releasing some steam.
One day, Dr. Anderson told Valkyrie that Brown will be doing homeschool and while the teacher wasn't around it was his duty to teach him.
This sweet punishment to him lasted for almost 5 years before Brown was able to practice medicine under his father's tutelage. When he turned 22 years old, Valkyrie decided to join the military, leaving Brown at home.
