Chasing After My Wife Chapter 116

Officer Nik, an IT specialist who works on the same team as Lucian found several loopholes on the network system when he investigated the posts.
He went to Lucian and and informed him of his findings. "The account owners were not the one who posted the reports online. When I checked the I.P address, there was a loophole and I found that the accounts were hacked and was used by someone else to post something. Three posts were of the same case. The ones that posted several pictures was done by a reporter who lost his job after J Entertainment suppressed them."
Lucian nodded his head as acknowledgement. "Find where these people are and bring them here for questioning."
They all moved and started locating the account holder using the IP address that Officer Nik found.
On the other hand, Jillyanna was in a huge problem. Travis wanted to use his phone and he might check his social media account. It would be very troublesome because he was mentioned several times due to the issue online.
'He'll find out!' she screamed internally and looked at him. "Why...why do you want your phone?"
"Because it's my phone?" Travis retorted with a faint chuckle.
Jillyanna was embarrassed with that fact. Indeed, why was she not letting him use his own phone?
She scratched the tip of her nose and shifted her gaze from left to right. She could not look at him directly. "You see...I...I am still using it. Just use this later okay. I will let you know if someone important calls you. Just...Just let me use this for now."
Travis took a step forward to see his phone. Jillyanna put it behind her back and took a step backward. "Why won't you let me see it?" he took another step in front of her.

Jillyanna gulped and took a step back. "There's nothing important in here. I just want to check my account."
"But you have your own phone already." Travis answered while taking another step.
Jillyanna bumped on the edge of the bed and sat. "Wait. Let me explain." she spoke hurriedly. Fear and anxiety showed up in her eyes.
Travis stopped few inches from her and spoke. "You're hiding something from me. You didn't book any flight out of the country, did you?"
"I did not." she answered almost automatically. She can't blame him if his thought would lean on the side of her escape plan. He must be holding a grudge of her multiple attempt to escape.
Travis leaned closer at her and stared at her eyes. "Then, tell me what's bothering you all this time."
Jillyanna sealed her lips and didn't say anything. 'Why must you make things difficult for me?!' she yelled internally but she kept a straight face in front of him.
Travis leaned even closer. "You won't tell me?" His face was few inches away from hers and his hot breath fanned her face, making her blush again.
Jillyanna didn't move, firmed with her decision to keep things to herself for now. She didn't want to rely on him too much that she won't be able to live her life when he's not around. What will she do if he found someone better and leave her? As much as possible, she wanted to do things without his help.
Not receiving any response from her, Travis gathered all his courage and stole a kiss on her lips. "Speak."
Jillyanna was shocked with what he did. Her blush crept up from her neck to her face and ears.
"You're an idiot!" she smacked his chest and hid her upper body under the blanket. She didn't forget to hide his phone with her.

Her pinkish-white feet were still exposed in front of him. His gaze turned dark and he couldn't help but tease her again. He kissed the back of her legs which made her curl her body.
"Stop it!" her voice was muffled because she was still under the blanket. She kept thrashing her legs but Travis held it and kissed the back of her knees. His kisses were traveling up to the back of her thighs.
"I said stop it!" she removed the blanket that covers her and glared at him. Her teary and bright eyes looked so enticing that he wanted to tease her more.
Travis hovered above her and asked again. "What are you hiding from me?"
"Nothing." she lied again. Her flushed face and strewn hair was giving him a hard this time.
Travis kissed her again, not a peck this time. His tongue invaded her mouth, not giving her time to react.
Her wide and teary eyes were pretty sight for him. Jillyanna didn't want to let go of the phones and she was feeling dizzy from the intensity of his kiss. Using her other free hand, she pinched his waist to stop him.
Travis stopped and looked at her. "Will you tell me now?"
"You're so annoying! How can you kiss me out of nowhere?" she complained, crawling out of his arms and went to her side of the bed.
Travis climbed up the bed and slid under the blanket beside her. "I'm sorry I went over the line." he hugged her from behind and let her use his arms as her pillow.
"Something's poking my back." she commented calmly but her face turned another deep shade of red.
Travis chuckled and caressed her hair. "Don't mind it. It will calm down in a while. Just don't move."
Jillyanna didn't know what to say. She had never seen someone so aroused because of her. She kept quiet and didn't move in her place, still holding the phones in her hand.
"Don't do it again." Jillyanna spoke after few minutes.
Travis raised one of his eyebrow. "What do you mean?" he asked even though he knew what she's talking about.
"Don't kiss me again." she spoke softly before moving away from him. "I don't like you doing that to me. It's scaring me."
Travis suddenly felt alarmed. 'This isn't good.'

The Breath of Creation [DROPPED]
General Summary: Sometimes, the multiverse needs expanding. That's where I come in. But, unfortunately, being a deity isn't all fun and games (and is incredibly complicated), as there are always things working against you. Not even the God of the Multiverses can change that. Another Summary: Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am one of those souls. And let me tell you, this shit ain't easy. Between trying to raise mortals into an immortal army, with which I can defend my domain, dealing with my children, and trying to maintain the balance between all realms of existance, I have my work cut out for me. Sigh. Now I know why, back on Earth, gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done. Formerly called RE: Deity

A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)

Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
