Jillyanna set up her phone as soon as she can but she eventually realized that she didn't have a sim card.
"What the heck!" she cursed to herself, placing her hand down and went back to Travis. "Let's go back home tomorrow, shall we?"
"Why are you rushing now?" Travis asked her who was still busy cooking.
Jillyanna sat down on the chair with both hers and his phone in her hand. "I need to get my sim card back from the old phone."
"Why not ask Lucian to send it here through delivery?"
"I just want to go home. You're done with your business anyway. Let's just go home for now. We're coming back next time so it's fine." she couldn't tell him about her issue yet. She could be mistaken so she wanted to deal it by herself.
She connected the phone through WiFi and sent Lucian a message with the post and comment she saved.
It wasn't even half an hour since she saw that post and there were more posts coming out.
"Don't know where she got the courage to hook up with Mr. Madrigal but she's a home wrecker!"
"Oh! I heard it from my dad! Mr. Madrigal is engaged to someone and she ruined it."
"Is that true? I don't think so. I've never seen Travis Madrigal with any women before."
"It's because his friends and everyone from entertainment industry covered it up."
"Your goddess must have a great bed skills for him to abandon his fiance."
"How many rounds can she actually give him?"
Their comments and posts were getting nastier and malicious. It even involves some sexual terms, making her look like a bitch and a home wrecker.

She was so furious this time. She didn't care about how people viewed her before but this time, she's pregnant and she didn't want her baby to be affected like this when he/she grows up.
Jillyanna breathed in and out to calm herself just in time for her to receive Lucian's reply. Since Travis was busy cooking, he didn't notice any abnormalities from her.
"Did you tell Travis about this?" Lucian simply asked her.
Jillyanna looked guiltily at the back of the person in front of her. "I didn't want to let him know."
"Alright. I'll take a look on this later. By the way, regarding your mother's case, it looked like that her family was involved in the crime." Lucian informed her of the update.
Jillyanna had this feeling before so it was no longer new to her. "I don't care about her family. My mother has no one beside me and my father! Do whatever you want before I do what I want."
"Hey Yanna! Don't even dare stain your hands with their blood! I'll work on this." Lucian warned her again. Because they knew, the incident 2 years ago when she almost died, it was also the doing of her relatives. They just couldn't find any evidence against them.
Travis turned to look at her but she only smiled as if nothing happened. "I'm almost done here."
"Okay." she obediently nodded her head and checked her account again. If possible, she didn't want to return his phone to him. 'What a bad timing! Of all times, you specially posted these when I have my own phone now.' she exclaimed mentally while keeping a straight face in front of him.
Travis didn't bother and continued cooking but he already noticed something. She smiled at him but that smile didn't reach her eyes. 'Something's wrong.' he noted while cooking. He didn't want to get his phone back as of now because she might notice that he knew something. He decided to play along.

"I don't believe her to be like this! Stop labeling her with names! I won't trust anyone except my goddess and Mr. Madrigal."
"It's just a fiance. Not a wife! They are not married yet! Travis can still fall in love to our goddess! What the hell are you talking about! Labeling her with a 'home wrecker' is just wrong! You must be a mistress yourself!"
"I agree! It's not like Travis is married to someone."
"Don't just make your own speculations, you fame whore! I'm telling you, my goddess is not a home wrecker!"
Amidst this issue, Jillyanna's true fans stood on her side and fought for her. They won't let anyone sully her name. Jillyanna felt her nose stings from so much emotions. She was really thankful for these people. It's because of them that she continued to give her best.
"I'll go upstairs." she spoke and walked out of the kitchen to go back to her room. She needed to wash her face or else, he will knew.
Travis turned around and didn't see his phone. "Come back quickly. I am done here already." he reminded her while setting the table for dinner.
Jillyanna brought their phones with her and turned his phone to silent because Diego kept calling him. He must have seen the posts online and wanted to tell Travis about it.
When she came back, she didn't bring their phones with her. Travis noticed it but didn't ask either.
"I made a seafood noodles for you." Travis mentioned before placing the bowl of noodles in front of her.
"This smells good." she stated while eyeing the noodles with her sparkling eyes. When it comes to food, it's easy to make her smile.
Travis placed the sweetened fish fillet he made as well as the barbecue flavored pork chop in front of her.
He also made his own servings so that they're eating the same food. "What time should we leave tomorrow?" he inquired while waiting for the noodles to cool down a little.
"Morning. We need to go home as soon as possible. I miss my house." she responded nonchalantly.
He didn't miss the pronoun she used. She had been using our house or our home these past few days but now, she's back to using 'my'.
"I miss our house, too." Travis replied, emphasizing on the 'our' part. Jillyanna just smiled cheekily at him like it was nothing.

The Adventures of Alan
What happens when a university professor somehow ends up in another world, where magic bends the laws of nature? Alan is, albeit unwillingly, about to find out. As a professor of physics, he has a decent understanding of how the world works, or so he likes to think. Armed only with his knowledge, Alan is thrown into a world very different from his own. In his new reality, he will meet both friends and foe, he will seek knowledge, he will build power, and perhaps he will even find love again? Follow Alan through his adventures, and find out for yourselves how he deals with the challenges thrown at him by a new world, while struggling with the issues brought with him from his old one. * Author’s note: A fair warning. This is the first time I’ve published anything, and basically the first time I’ve written anything more than mandatory school-stuff. The story will probably have inconsistencies, grammatical errors (not my native tongue, though that excuse is getting old), and potentially confusing (missing?) plot. I will naturally do my best to write something worth reading, but my main goal in writing this story is to have fun and explore the limits of my own creativity. My hope in publishing it here, is that I’ll reach someone who enjoy the story, and can push me forward towards writing more, as it is difficult at times to find the motivation to write just for myself. Additionally, I can’t really promise to have regular updates, as I have a full-time job that often likes to take the ‘full-time’ part literally, and a sporadic social life that occasionally surprises me (happy surprises mostly, so I shouldn’t complain). I’ll aim for once a week to start with, and take it from there. Happy reading! Cover photo by Jeff Hire (/photographer/gun4hire-58415), from https://freeimages.com/.

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
