Chasing After My Wife Chapter 113

The world was in heated discussion but their subjects were still on the bed. It was quarter to five in the afternoon already but Jillyanna was still sleeping.
Travis woke up earlier already but he promised not to go anywhere until she wakes up. "Who would've thought you'd be this clingy to me?" he whispered, kissing her head gently, caressing her smooth hair that were sprawled on the pillow.
Jillyanna moved closer to him and hugged his waist. "Stop moving around. I am still sleepy."
Travis had known that pregnant women tend to get sleepy time to time. He searched it when she was sleeping at the hospital and he found many other things.
He just hugged her contentedly as she went back to sleep. When it was almost six in the evening, he woke her up with his kisses.
"Wake up my dear wife. It's not good to sleep for so long." he kissed her forehead while caressing her face.
Jillyanna stirred from her sleep and turned to her other side, facing her back on him. "I don't want to get up."
"You will get fat if you keep on sleeping."
"I don't care!"
"Our baby needs to eat dinner."
This made her open her eyes and turned to face him. "Don't cook a lot so I can go back to rest immediately, okay?"
"Hn. What do you want?"
"I want pork chop and fish fillet and a bowl of noodles. No rice." she told him while counting with her fingers.
"Not a lot huh." he teased her which made her blush.
"Do you want to cook or not?" Jillyanna asked her to hide her embarrassment.
Travis chuckled and leaned closer, kissing her nose this time. "I will cook for you and the baby. Are you going down with me or just stay here?"

"I'm going down." Jillyanna climbed down from the bed and look for her slippers. "Huh? My slippers are still in the bathroom?" she murmured while getting her slippers back.
Travis heard her and chuckled faintly. "You slept in the tub so I had to carry you out. I left your slippers there."
'I slept? Carry me out?' she was blown away with these thoughts and when she realized who dressed her again, her face was so red that any moment a blood could actually seeped out.
"What's wrong?" Travis asked her when she turned silent and won't raise her head at all. He saw her red neck and ears so he realized that she was blushing again. "I see. You realized that I dressed you up?"
"Can you not say it?!" she snapped at him before storming out of the room, leaving a happy Travis who was throwing a fit of laughter.
Jillyanna went to the kitchen and poured a glass of water to drink. She also grabbed an apple before going to the living room.
"Do you want to check the video we took earlier?" Travis asked as he handed the phone to her.
"I'll check it when we get back to our house." she responded to him in refusal. She didn't have a laptop with her to edit her video and she didn't want to see it yet.
"Alright. I'll start cooking now. Just let me know if you need anything." Travis kissed her head again before leaving.
"You're becoming a kiss addict now." she stated in her soft voice, just enough for him to hear.
"I don't mind. It's because I'm addicted to you." he retorted making her blush again, an expression that he wanted to see often.

He went to the kitchen and picked the ingredients from the refrigerator and started washing them.
Jillyanna followed him with the empty glass after few minutes. She placed it on the table and borrowed his phone.
She checked her account first and found that the topic online was still them. She saw different pictures of them today. There was a photo of their backs, their faces, their hands linked together and many other angles.
"Don't they know about you and Cheska?" Jillyanna asked after looking at the pictures.
Travis stopped chopping the onions and turned to face her. "Some tried making a rumor about it but Diego suppressed those magazines and news company. Nobody gave a statement either and Wynwyn didn't bother clarifying it because of the business matter."
"So, I am the first person to appear beside you?" she asked in disbelief. Almost all the people rich people she knew were playboys. Which was one of the reasons why she didn't entertain wealthy suitors. She thought Travis wasn't and even gave him a chance. "It was really my mistake." she mumbled helplessly.
"What mistake are you talking about?" Travis inquired because he felt that he was involve in this mistake she mentioned.
Jillyanna put down his phone and looked at him. "The mistake of giving you a chance. Remember when I said I hate hanging out with rich people? I honestly thought you're just an average person. You didn't even wear any expensive clothings that time. Now, I realized I was fooled and trapped."
"I'm sorry. I didn't really mean to hide anything from you." Travis spoke with a guilty expression. He knew that it was indeed a bad idea but he can't help it. He wanted to be by her side and he can only do that by acting as an average person.
"Forget it. It's not like we can change it." she waved her hand in dismissal. She looked through the pictures again and found a comment that were disliked by many people.
"You can be happy as you want now. It won't last long anyway."
She was so bothered by it and that she saved the post in her account. "I'll get my own phone to set it up." she walked as fast as she could to get her phone which was left in the living room, together with the other shopping bags.
She needed it to check on her account and make a report to Lucian.
