Chasing After My Wife Chapter 110

When Travis wasn't watching her, instead of paying the clothes using his black card, she pulled out her own card and paid the items as quick as possible.
The moment Travis showed up beside her, she had returned the card in her wallet already.
"Did you pay these already?" Travis asked her while checking his phone. There was no notification from his bank.
Jillyanna could only face-palmed herself because of her stupidity. 'Why didn't I think about the notification?' she exclaimed internally while looking around the store, avoiding his direct gaze.
"You didn't use my card, do you?" he asked again with his scrutinizing gaze. There's no way for his bank not to send him a notification if his card was used.
Jillyanna sighed helplessly and turned to face him. "I didn't use it because...because..." she couldn't think of any reason.
"Because of what?"
"Because you will be paying for my things tomorrow. Oh, that's right. You will be shopping with me tomorrow." Jillyanna tried her best to sound natural while giving her reason.
Travis knew that she was just making excuses but he didn't press her more. He will wait for her to get used to their arrangement because he promised to give her time.
After buying her clothes, Travis brought her home to Peachwood Pavillion. It was still located in the same city but it was a bit far from the noisy environment. It was grand and most of the residence there were billionaires.
"Don't show off your wealth in front of me." Jillyanna commented with a pout after seeing the huge mansion that they will be staying.
Travis laughed again because of her cute little antics. He walked out first and Jillyanna followed without waiting for him to open the door. He decided to grab the shopping bags for her and led her inside the house.

"This is where we will stay every time we go here." Travis mentioned to her after opening the door.
"When did you have this house?" she asked while looking around. It looked bare and lonely.
"I bought this when we celebrated the first anniversary of J Entertainment." Travis answered her. "What do you want for dinner?" he asked.
She was busy looking at the pictures on the shelf. To her surprise, he still have the picture of them when they were young. "I'm still full from the lunch. Milk and fruits would be fine." She didn't even look at him when she answered so she didn't know that he was already standing right behind him.
"What caught your interest?" Travis asked, which startled her a little.
"Don't stand behind me! You'll scare me." she complained, giving him a light punch on his chest.
Travis caught her hand and kissed her knuckles. "Sorry. I was just jealous that something else caught your attention."
"You're jealous of yourself? Hahaha" she laughed out loud while taking the picture frame with her other hand. "I was looking at this." she showed it to him and Travis finally smiled. "You're so silly."
He just looked at the picture and helped her return it. Still holding her hand, he led her to the kitchen so that she can chose the fruits she wanted to eat.
Travis didn't bother giving her a tour that night since they will be staying for quite a while. She will have more time to check the house.
He prepared the hot bath for her and chose a large white shirt and drawstring pants for her to use because he needed to wash the clothes they bought first. It wasn't good to let her use them without cleaning them first.

"I'll help you with the clothes." Jillyanna offered to help but Travis pushed her back to their room.
"Just clean yourself already and take a rest. I won't take long here."
"Okay."
She didn't insist anymore but she didn't sleep either. She waited for him to finish washing the clothes. He didn't really cleaned everything. He just prioritize the ones that Jillyanna chose to wear for the following day.
After an hour Travis, came back with her dried clothes and set them inside the wardrobe. "Why aren't you sleeping yet?"
"I waited for you."
"You don't really have to wait for me. Though I am happy, we still need to prioritize your health and the baby."
"Just this once." Then she slid under the thick blanket to get some sleep. She's really uncomfortable sleeping with some clothes on but she didn't want to sleep naked beside him as well. Along the way, her lifestyle was changed drastically and she's trying her best to get used to it.
The next morning, she woke up around nine. She turned to her other side and felt the cold bed. The alarm rang in her mind and she sat up instantly. She looked around her, trying to recognize the place. It took her almost a minute to realize where she was.
"Travis?" she called out his name while walking down the stairs. She heard some noise and followed it, leading her to Travis who was cooking in the kitchen.
"You're awake. How's your sleep?" Travis approached her, apron still tied around his waist, looking so handsome in front of her. He kissed her forehead and poured him a glass of water.
"I had a good sleep but I woke up agitated." she told him the truth before taking a drink. "Don't leave the bed if I am not awake yet, specially if I am in unfamiliar place."
"Are you in love with me now that you can't bare to wake up without me beside you?" he teased, giving her a sexy wink but Jillyanna just rolled her eyes at him.
"Don't be too full of yourself. I'm telling you this because I tend to run away from a place that is not familiar to me." she told him while avoiding his eyes.
It was just an excuse. She just didn't want to admit that she was starting to become dependent on him.
