Chasing After My Wife Chapter 108

There's a freshly brewed coffee and it was still steaming hot. She picked up a brown tray that she found from one of the cupboards, placed fourteen saucers and fourteen cups on it.
"Boss Madam, let me pour the coffee. It will be bad if you get a scald from it." the bodyguard stated and helped her.
Jillyanna didn't argue with him and decided to find teaspoon for each coffee. She placed two sachets of coffee creamer on the saucer since she didn't know if they like it black or creamy.
"What's your name?" Jillyanna asked the man who's helping her.
"Just call me Top, young madam." he answered her while pouring the coffee.
Jillyanna nodded her head to acknowledge him. "Thanks for helping me Top. Just carry these and give to the shareholders. It looked to me that they will sleep anytime soon in that boring meeting. I'll bring the one for Travis."
"Yes young madam." he uttered and continued what he was doing.
Jillyanna found it a bit funny because his way of calling her changed time to time but the word 'madam' remained. She just smiled at him and prepared the coffee for Travis.
She didn't want him to drink a black coffee since it's troublesome if he can't sleep at night. She looked for a powdered milk and make a milk foam out of it to substitute it for a creamer.
She asked Top to pour a half cup of coffee and placed it on a saucer. With the milk foam she had on one hand, she tried making her own latte for Travis. She's not a master of making latte and could only make the simplest heart design.
After making his latte, she prepared her own warm milk since she didn't want to drink fresh milk.

Top just waited for her to make sure that she won't have a hard time bringing her glass of milk and latte for Travis.
Top walked first so that he can open the door for her. Everyone's eyes lit up when they saw a tray of coffee cups.
"I was really about to sleep. Even though we are talking about money, I still feel sleepy." one of the shareholders stated. Some people nodded their heads in agreement and some just smiled.
Jillyanna walked to Travis and placed the latte in front of him. "No black coffee for you. It's troublesome if you can't sleep at night."
Travis looked at her and smiled cheekily. "Right. We need to wake up early tomorrow so I should sleep and not cause you any trouble."
Some paused midair from drinking their coffee and some stopped stirring it after putting the creamer. What he was trying to imply was as clear as day!
Her blush crept from her neck to her face. She was so embarrassed with what he said even though they were not really doing anything.
"Stop spouting nonsense!" she whispered, still flustered from everyone's attention. "I will really kick your ass if you spout nonsense again."
Travis just chuckled and raised his hand to surrender. Since there was no table for Jillyanna to place her glass if she sits on the couch, she pulled up another swivel chair and sat beside Travis instead.
"Are you almost done?" she inquired after seeing the marked agenda on a document opened on his laptop.
Travis drank his latter before answering. "Yup. Two more bullets and we're done."
She read the documents because something caught her interest. "What if you make a reality show?" she asked Travis after reading the last agenda. "I checked your programs before and there was no reality show ever made."

Travis noted that on his laptop. "Like what kind of reality show?" he asked her since it was a good idea and the might even get a huge profit if it was planned accordingly.
Instead of continuing their meeting they all turned their ears on her. For shareholders, the most important thing is for them to earn money.
Jillyanna paused for a while to think of a good program. "How about a program that involves missions for your artists? I mean, you have plenty of artists who are inactive due to some circumstances. You can involve them so that they can earn for their family, too. You can also try making a program where your artists do some babysitting for a week so that they would know how parents feel when they take care of their child."
These were just suggestions out of nowhere but Jillyanna would soon receive plenty of grateful messages for what she did today. On a whim, she didn't know how many people she helped out just because of these suggestions. Well, that's a story for later.
"That sounds plausible. Do you think our artists will agree to it?" one of the shareholders voiced out his worry.
He was right, they have to check on their artists to see who would be available. There were many things to consider so they kept it for now and would talk about it some other times.
Jillyanna didn't mind though. She knew how difficult it is to prepare for a new program and it takes a lot of time for planning.
"I'll think of a way to make it." Travis whispered to her.
"I prefer the first suggestion I made. It can help a lot." she whispered back.
Travis nodded his head and typed what she wants on his laptop. "You are amazing."
"Of course I am." she stated with a proud face, praising herself happily.
Diego couldn't help but make a dry cough to get their attention. Jillyanna looked at him with a raised brow. "What? Are you jealous?" If she wants, she can be bold and shameless, too.
Diego smirked and glanced at everyone. "Stop acting like we don't exist, okay? We are still in the office." he retorted back at her.
She didn't say anything back to him but she turned towards Travis instead. "Your friend is jealous and was still making excuses to involve everyone."
Travis patted her head gently with a faint laughter. "I agree. I agree."
Looking at them, everyone felt a little bad for Diego because he was the target of their bullying.

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
