Chasing After My Wife Chapter 92

Jillyanna smiled evilly while watching his profile. She didn't exit from his profile and open a new tab instead so she can easily go back to that later.
"Hawk, how's uncle Thomas? Is he doing okay?" she asked the man who was sitting on the couch.
Hawk looked at her with a calm face. "He's doing good. Savannah's taking care of him in the mansion. However, he didn't know that you were sent here last night."
She nodded her head as she listened to him. "That's alright. It's not good if I add to his stress. Thank you for taking care of him when Travis was busy with his business."
"It's the only way we know to repay their kindness." Hawk stated as a matter of fact before fiddling with his phone again.
Jillyanna didn't say anything after that. It's all good for her to know that Thomas was doing fine. She got tired of browsing thru the net so she called Cielo instead.
"Hello? Who is this?" Cielo's cautious voice rang out from the other line.
"When will you visit me?" she asked her directly that stunned Cielo.
"Yanna? Oh my gosh you're awake now! I'll let mom and dad know. We'll go together there. Do you need something? I can bring it over for you." Her joyful voice resounded on the earpiece of the phone. She can finally feel relief from worrying her.
"Can you get my suitcase from the apartment? I was supposed to leave with it but I decided to stay." she murmured to the phone, shy from the fact that Hawk could hear her but she didn't want to leave the room without Travis.
"Sure. I'll get it for you. Anything else?" Cielo asked again.
"That's all. I'll wait for you guys here." she ended the call and placed the phone on the table beside her bed.

Not long after she called her, Travis came back with Brown. Her eyes instantly lit up and she picked up the phone instantly.
"Come here for a while." she called out to Travis while waving the phone in front of him.
"I didn't put any password on it." Travis mumbled in confusion.
"Of course I know. I'm not stupid. Just come here! Or are you afraid I'd smack this on your face?" she raised her eyebrow when he didn't move at all. "I won't really smack this on your face. I just want to ask you something."
Travis walked towards her and sat on the space that she left for him. She opened his phone and went back to the tab that was showing his profile. She looked at him to see his reaction but he remained pokerface.
"This is yours." It was a statement that Travis didn't deny at all.
"Hn. I made it after the shoot we took." Travis responded to her. "I asked Joven about it."
"How did you know about Joven?" she was even more intrigued of him now. 'Do you really know so many people when you do business?' she asked mentally to herself.
"Aside from taking over my father's business, I also owned an entertainment industry. Joven is one of our best music directors. It might not be a big business but we have the best people and resources." He admitted to her without holding back.
"No way. You're kidding me right?" she asked him in bewilderment. "This is embarrassing."
"What's embarrassing?" Travis asked her in confusion. There was nothing to be embarrassed about what he said.
Jillyanna felt annoyed from her own embarrassment. She once told him that she earns millions every year and that she doesn't like hanging out with rich people. Look what happened now?

She opened her own profile once again and followed his account. "Don't change your username." she quickly stated it and handed him the phone.
"I know why you're embarrassed. I just remembered. You mentioned about your earnings be---"
Jillyanna covered his mouth immediately, muffling his voice. "Shut the fuck up!" she whispered with gritted teeth while looking towards Hawk and Brown. Good thing they were busy with their calls. "You don't want me to leave right? Don't mention it ever again."
She released her hands and moved away from him. She was so embarrassed from boasting her wealth just to ward him off before.
"Alright. I won't say it again." he agreed with her and moved away from her bed cause if he won't, he might steal a kiss from her again.
He walked towards Brown and Hawk who were still talking on the phone. "Stop pretending you're on a call. Even if you do, you still heard our conversation."
This made Jillyanna blushed from being so exposed. She picked up one of her pillows and threw it at him. It landed on his back and Travis picked it up to return it back to her.
He walked back to her and placed the pillow behind her so she could lean on it. "Don't be naughty or I'll punish you in front of them."
This made Jillyanna kept silent and behaved. She just looked at him as he walked back to his friends. She didn't dare look at them with her flustered face.
They talked about different things that only the three of them could understand. She was even confused and irritated that she was like an outsider to them but she knew it was confidential that's why they're using codes during conversation.
She was so bored to death and she didn't know what she can do to relieve her boredom. She walked to the window of her room and watched the garden outside where many patients were taking their morning walk.
"I want to go out." she whispered to herself but when she looked back to the three men, they were still busy talking and Brown was typing something on his phone, showing it to Travis from time to time.
After an hour, there was a knock on the door that made all four of them to turn their heads. Travis opened it and saw a doctor, unfamiliar to them, looking at Jillyanna.
"It's been a while my niece." he said with a smile on his lips but his eyes were emotionless, like the eyes of a dead fish.

One is sent to the frozen north, where she is adopted by a frost phoenix and taught to survive in the harshest of conditions, eventually meeting with the forces that govern nature itself. The other is sent to the southern deserts and is saved by a band of slaves-turned-raiders who take him in as one of their own, where he eventually came into contact with a being that calls herself the History Eater. The two sought power and the forces of the world would soon listen, but not without their own aspirations. And perhaps if the two were to meet again, they would be so warped by their own hands and would not even recognize the other. [Arc 1 - Disciple of the History Eater & Knighthood] Under the guidance of Fieluri, the whimsical being from the Archive, Airen moves south to the Red Slate Republic to attend Stonewall Military Academy. There, he finds himself wrapped up in the History Eater's ploys, and at the same time, learns of the somber side of society in the slave-driven republic. Eventually, under Fieluri's instruction, he descends into the depths of dungeons where he eventually reunites with an old acquaintance. Yuelei, who has grown used to living in the snowy mountains, moves north to the Holy Land of Ecclisa to attend the Royal Knight Academy. After Lin leaves, she slowly adapts to living with humans again, but not without ceaseless caution. The thinly-veiled peace is eventually broken, for the monsters that haunted the nights in the Whitefrost Mountains are returning once more. Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
