Chasing After My Wife Chapter 74

Cielo had her hands on her waist while glaring at Jillyanna in her room. "Don't you dare go telling me you want to stay in the apartment alone! There were so many people who are after your wealth and your mother's research. Do you really want me to die from so much worries? Trust me Yanna, staying with Travis is our best gamble. I don't what happened and why you couldn't fully trust him. However, trust me in trusting him. Lucian mentioned that there were people checking around our house, they might be waiting for you."
Jillyanna was sitting on her bed with a grin on her lips. Cielo looked at her and found out that she's thinking of something naughty again!
"If I can't stay alone, then how about you guys move here or how about Travis just move here? Why should I be the one moving to his place. That was just a rented place. Wouldn't it be great if he can save his money and just stay here with me? Hmp! I am not leaving this house again. Let those people come! Let them be disappointed!" she smirked in her place with an evil thoughts running around her braincells.
"How about you share your thoughts with your future husband?" Cielo teased her but she only rolled her eyes while chuckling at her statement.
"I'll talk to him about this. Let me find him." she walked out of her room with Cielo following behind her. Savannah was doing something on her laptop again and Hawk was beside her.
She walked out of the house and found Travis sitting alone on the porch. An image of her memory overlapped with what she's seeing in front of her and she hates it.
"Don't sit on my porch." she told him angrily and kick his legs lightly.

"Why not? It's comfortable here." Travis retorted with a smile but his eyes were not looking straight at he. He seemed like he was thinking about his past as well.
Jillyanna let out a heavy breath and walked to the couch available before speaking. " No matter what, don't sit on that porch. Just do as I say or I will really hate you for the rest of my life."
"Fine. I will not be sitting here. So how's your talk with your sister?" he inquire as he moved to sit beside her on the couch.
Jillyanna looked at the flowers on the garden, at the swing, at the mango tree, at the porch and the picture hanging on the walls inside her house. Things that she couldn't leave which was the reason why she would have to go back time to time even when she's abroad. She needed to see this sight.
"Travis, I am planning to stay here. I realized that I've been so busy my whole life that I neglected what was left to me. This time, I will be staying here. My sister wanted me to stay with you but I don't want to. How about you guys stay here with me instead?" She raised her thoughts to him but Travis was silent and was just looking at her. This annoyed her and she flipped out. "It doesn't matter if you will or will not agree. I am staying here. You can do whatever you want. You can leave as well but I am telling you, I am not going back with you."
She stood up and left him alone. He didn't even tried to stop her which irritated her the most. 'I hate this bastard so much!' she yelled internally at him.

"Let's leave." Jillyanna heard him spoke these words. She didn't turn around to face him or anything. She slammed the door close and stripped her clothes to sleep.
"What was that all about? What did you do?" Cielo asked Travis with a helpless tone.
"Don't tell her yet but I'm moving here. She thought I will be leaving. Well, I will have to leave to get my stuff. No matter what, I will stay here with her even if she will kick me out, I will not go. It's her who invited me anyway." Travis admitted with a sly smile.
"Just help me pack my stuff. I will be staying here to watch over her." Savannah told Hawk. "It's not much, maybe yours and my things will just fit one suitcase."
"Okay. Be careful here. If any intruders came, make sure to contact me as soon as possible." Hawk responded before turning around and left. Cielo who watched their interaction was fed with fluffy hearts.
"Bye Savy, see you later." Travis bid farewell and left them.
Cielo and Savannah looked at each other's eyes and burst into laughters. "Can't believe he would fall head over heels with her." Savannah commented before going back to work.
"Hopefully, he won't give up on her. Jillyanna, would be very difficult to handle sometimes. She had been independent since young, even when she got us." Cielo retorted her opinion as well.
Savannah was still sorting out information but the results were still negative. "By the way, I meant to ask her long ago, how did she end up with your family?"
Cielo was informed by Lucian that Hawk and Savannah might be investigating Jillyanna's past so they had to be wary of them.
Cielo just smiled upon recalling what happened in the past. "I was turning 13 years old that day. Before my birthday came, my parents asked me if I want to have a sister. Of course I wanted to. I was alone every time Lucian wasn't around so I needed someone to play with or to talk to. That's when they brought Jillyanna back."
"Do you know where she's from?" Savannah inquired.
"Nope. My parents won't say anything and Jillyanna won't tell us her past."
"You owned the Summer Cafe?"
"Not just me. Jillyanna and I owned it. Whe have equal shares but I am in charge of the business since she's always busy. She's in charge of the concept or events for the cafe." Cielo told her what can be said and kept some things a secret.
"Why did you name it Summer Cafe? It sounds nice so I am curious." Savannah acted like she was just getting to know her and Jillyanna but in fact, she was asking for Jillyanna's real identity.
Cielo chuckled at her question. "You might think it's silly. There's no special meaning or reason to it. We just named it Summer Cafe because we started planning about this business when we were having our last summer vacation as university students."
True it was during summer that they planned this but, Jillyanna named it Summer after her mother's last name.
