Chasing After My Wife Chapter 43

"I can't believe you really went ahead and executed your plan." Cielo responded to her friend who was busy rubbing her hands on her not-so-bulging tummy.
"I have to. Wasn't I brilliant? I love my brain cells so much." Jillyanna boasted her intelligence, but little did she know, her intelligence would be challenged.
They ate and talked for almost two hours in Summer Cafe. Cielo had to check the accounting at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon, so Jillyanna decided to leave, not wanting to disrupt Cielo's working schedule.
"You don't really want me to send you home?" Cielo asked her friend once again, worried that she'd be tired from driving and specially now that there is a baby in her small tummy.
"I'll be fine. I'll give you a call once I'm home." Jillyanna reassured her, not realizing the oncoming headache she'd be facing.
After talking some sense to her friend so she could calm down, Jillyanna picked up her bag that was placed on the chair beside her. Cielo went inside the backroom to continue working, leaving her on her own to grab a cab.
"Goodbye boss." some employees who saw her leaving bid her farewell.
"Bye everyone!" Jillyanna waved her right hand at them since she was holding her bag on the left. She gently pushed the glass door of the cafe with a beautiful smile hanging on her lips.
She walked gracefully, her black-skinny jeans hugging her legs tightly. Her loose white shirt was lifted by the wind, exposing a bit of her jade-white skin. She was wearing a white rubber shoes after deciding that heels and wedges should be put away during pregnancy. She wasn't very tall like those Miss Universe, but her height was still acceptable for a model.

The waiting area for buses and cabs were located near the ESL building which was across the street. It would not take her five minutes to reach the place.
However, at this moment, when she was about to cross the street, a series of expensive cars stopped in front of her.
Jillyanna raised one of her eyebrows after seeing the men in black suit got off the cars. Somehow, she had a bad feeling a about them. They walked and scattered in different places but she noticed that they were actually surrounding her.
"What the heck!" Jillyanna cursed under her breath scanning the area with obvious gaze. Her instinct was telling her to run and escape but she couldn't because of the baby!
Jillyanna's face paled when she saw the man coming out from the most expensive Rolls-Royce. His face was as handsome as she last remembered which was just a week ago, but his dark eyes were cold and penetrating. Dark circles didn't make him less handsome at all.
'Was he so busy chasing after me that he couldn't sleep? Getting rid of this baby and me must be a priority.' Jillyanna's eyes turned cold in an instant after that cold-blooded thought flashed across her mind.
His lips pulled up into a devilish smile, making her heart faltered in its beat. "Why don't you return with me my sweet wife?" his voice was husky and low as he beckoned her to come closer.
Jillyanna remained stationary on her place. "I'm not your wife sweetheart. You've mistaken me for someone else." Jillyanna played along but her eyes were scanning the area for any escape route. A plan was forming in her brain already.
"You're not? Then give me back my sperm."
Jillyanna choked on his words. He was so calm and relax as if the words he said weren't vulgar at all.

She did promise him to be his wife if things go right but she didn't want to get married at all. She just went along with him to execute her plan. But, she did steal his sperm and it's a month old.
Left with no choice, Jillyanna turned around without any hesitation and ran, but it wasn't even ten steps yet when her face was drained with colors.
She clutched her stomach in pain. Her bag fell on the ground since she could no longer take it.
Travis looked at her pale face in horror. His long strides brought him to her in a few seconds. He put one of his hands behind her knees and the other was supporting her back. If it wasn't because of his men spotting her talking to Cielo, he would never be able to find her.
"Get her bag and go to the nearest hospital immediately." he commanded his men and carried her off to his car. He didn't place her on the seat but was hugging her carefully.
Jillyanna buried her face on his chest while clutching on her stomach, which was why Travis didn't see the smile spreading on her face.
"You'll be fine. You'll be fine." Jillyanna heard his soft whispers as if he was praying to make her feel better.
She was feeling a bit guilty with her act, now that she could see how scared he was. 'It doesn't matter. It would be easier for me to escape at the hospital.' she pushed the guilt away and continued to plan for her escape.
Travis wanted to fly directly to the hospital so that the doctors could check her immediately. It was never his intention to scare her off. He just wanted her to come home with him. He wanted to apologize but the words got stuck on his throat.
"I'm fine." Jillyanna spoke to ease his tension and to ease her guilt as well. She would never dare imagine that this guy would be worried for her.
'Don't let him fool you! You knew he's not serious with this relationship bullsh*ts!' she reminded herself before closing her eyes from exhaustion.
Honestly, she was tired and exhausted from all the running and thinking of escape plan. Her braincells were tired. 'I'll wait until we're in the hospital. Heh! I'd never let you harm my child.' she mocked him internally even though she was encase in a warm embrace.
Travis had his heart in his throat. His heart was beating so fast from so much anxiety. "Drive faster Matt! I'll go insane if something happens to her!"
"Relax Travis! I'm already past the speed limit! We'll arrive in a few minutes to the nearest hospital." Valkyrie answered but his forehead was also dotted with sweats. Everybody was anxious seeing Jillyanna's pale face.
