An hour after the conversation between Alex and Steven ended, Alex heard a knock on his door.

I'm sure many of you don't understand why Scizor is still not on the gold even though he ate such a rare item. (try to avoid the throwing tomatoes)

It has several reasons.

In this world it is really not easy to increase the potential of a Pokemon so that of course Alex also has problems. I don't want it to seem too easy to increase the potential of a Pokemon because it destroys the world a bit. If it's so easy to increase the potential of your Pokemon, why don't most trainers have a Gold Pokemon?

Although Alex received a corpse of a Chamption rank Pokemon (which is very, very rare in this world), it does not mean that his Pokemon can automatically advance to a rank. If it is an item from a full blood legendary Pokemon, it would be something completely different.
