Pokemon: Master Of Tactics Chapter 71

Alex watched the three men get on their flight mounts and fly away in different directions. He called back all Pokémon except Crobat and Ditto and thought, "Hmm... The idea is not bad. Ditto is not strong enough to defeat a Pokémon on its own, so I can only chase one person. The skinny man who is the boss of this group is not a bad target. But he is a little too strong is for my taste. I'd rather choose a simple target."
Alex, who had decided on a target, got on Crobat's back and said, "Chase the man on the right side."
Crobat nodded and flew at a fast pace in the direction of the man.
After only 20 seconds, Crobat and Ditto caught up with the man. Crobat that can fly without a sound was not spotted by the trainer or Pokémon in the dark even when they were only 5 meters away.
Crobat and Ditto suddenly attacked the Fearow with the Sludge Bomb.
Fearow and Steven were surprised by these two attacks and could not dodge them. Steven and Fearow were both injured and poisoned.
Steven screamed loudly, "Fck! Why am I so unlucky? Fearow, fly quickly into the forest."
Alex said coldly, "Crobat use Mean Look, and Ditto use Sludge Bomb again."
Steven, who saw that he could no longer escape, shouted, "Mister, can you please stop attacking me? I give up!"
Alex said coldly, "Ok then. Come with me if you want to live."
After saying that, he couldn't help but smile.
Steven, who didn't understand why Alex suddenly smiled, had a bad feeling but couldn't do anything but nod. He followed Crobat to an open space to land.
After Alex and Steven landed, Alex said, "Call your Fearow back."

Steven didn't want to lose the small chance of survival and did what Alex said. Although he was sure that his probability of dying today was 99%, he didn't want to lose the 1% chance of surviving because he didn't try.
Alex called Scizor out of his Pokéball and held Steven down. Alex wanted to make sure he would not try anything stupid.
After doing that, he asked coldly, "Why did you attack me?"
Steven got nervous and said, "Promise not to kill me, and I'll tell you."
Alex said coldly, "Ok, I will not kill you. But if you lie, You'll die a painful death."
Steven didn't really believe Alex, but he didn't have a lot of options.
He said, "Coincidentally, we are looking for trainers under Elite ranks here to steal their money, items, and Pokémon. You were chosen as a target."
Alex, who had already thought of that, said flatly, "Which organization are you from?"
Steven said, "We're from the Cerulean City Arbok gang."
Alex had never heard of this gang. He wasn't sure if Steven was lying or if it was a small gang in Kanto. He believed it was probably the latter.
He said, "Hmm, Arbok gang? Who is your leader, and what is his strength?"
Steven said, "I don't know the boss's real name. He calls himself Arbok. For his strength, it should be at least Elite. I don't know more. I swear!"
Alex was 70% sure that Steven hadn't lied to him. He just wanted to know if he was specifically targeted or if it was just his bad luck. After he found this out, he had no interest in chasing this Arbok gang any further.
He looked coldly at Steven and said, "Scizor, kill him."

An angry yell of, "Fck, you liar!" was the last thing Steven said when Scizor beheaded him.
Alex, who saw that, still felt disgusted by the murder. Although this feeling was getting weaker, he couldn't completely suppress it. Although he doesn't like that feeling, he knew it would be stupid to send this man back alive so that the boss could chase him. Alex is not afraid because of Team rocket's backing, but he shouldn't make enemies unnecessarily.
Scizor looked at Alex and said sternly, "I thought you were an honest trainer. If you wanted to kill him, you could have just told him. Why do you have to lie to him?"
Alex, who heard the logic from a Pokémon's perspective, couldn't help but laugh.
He said with a smile, "I wasn't lying, Scizor. You killed him, not me."
Scizor thought for a moment and said with a smile, "Hmm, you're right. Sorry that I thought you were a liar."
Alex knows that lying is a sign of weakness for Pokémon and said nothing further. He collected Steven's Pokéballs and the items he had.
10 Pokéballs
5 Super Potion
3 Antidotes
Moonstone (lower quality)
10,500 Pokédollars
Fearow (LV 24 Bronze)
Raticate (LV 28 Deep Bronze)
These were the most valuable items that Steven owned.
After he had collected all items, he looked for a place where he and his Pokémon can rest. After this exciting day, he and his Pokémon were exhausted.
Just as Alex wanted to leave, he received the news from Crobat that several Pokémon were quickly coming in their direction. They were probably attracted by the smell of blood from the corpse.
He got on Crobat and flew 50 meters above the corpse to see which Pokémons were running to this corpse.
After 20 seconds, more Pokémon could be seen near the corpse.
Alex saw a group of Pinsir, and he couldn't suppress his surprise when he saw their leader.

Alex was surprised to see an Elite Pokémon here. Usually, strong Pokémon live in the deeper parts of the forest where there is more food.
He flew for a while in the night on Crobat. With the help of Crobat, he looked for a safe place to sleep for him and his Pokémon.
After 10 minutes, Crobat found a safe place. There was no Pokémon nearby, and the trees protect Alex from wind and rain.
...
Early in the morning, Alex and his Pokémon sat down to have breakfast.
After 30 minutes, Alex and his Pokémon continued into the forest in front of the mountain chain. Alex doesn't have to walk long until he comes out of the woods.

Cowboys and Wizards
Currently in queue: Episode 12 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Wednesday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. Cowboys and Wizards is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his crappy smartphone, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.

The experience feels so real it’s difficult to be certain. But they have to find the answers fast because people soon start to die. *** This is not intended to be a typical litRPG series, although it uses a lot of its elements to help create the whole setting.
