Hello, Mr Li: The Christmas Trip Chapter 22

Joreen's mood was lifted after planning with Reen. Tonight, they were going to find a pretty lady who was single and matchmake her with Hoy. Hoy was very tall, handsome, even though he rarely smiled, he had a pretty smile which revealed his nice set of dimples, he was a good businessman and was really rich. It would be hard for a woman to not find someone like him attractive. The only problem now is whether Hoy would like the girl.

"Do you have any idea what his type is?" Reen asked and began to take note with a pen and paper.

"I'm not sure." Joreen pondered on it. "But all his ex girlfriends are quite tall. I think he likes tall girls with pale skin and long straight hair. Oh! Girls that are quiet and behave like ladies. I think that is it."

Reen giggled making Joreen raise a curious brow.

"What is funny?" Joreen asked.

"I guess I just have to look around for someone who is the direct opposite of you." Reen answered with a laugh.

"That is not funny!" Joreen glared and threw a pillow at her but Reen caught it swiftly. She was an athlete after all.

"You should just have fun with Kyle. I'll handle it."

"Are you sure you can do it alone?" Reen asked.

"Sara promised to help me out. I'm sure mum would help out also. Uncle Li wouldn't suspect I have a hand in this." She shrugged.

"Leaving things to you is a bad idea, but I guess I have to trust you this time."

An announcement came in through the intercom so they paid attention to it. It was informing all the guests that they were supposed to meet at the hall in two hours to get to know each other.

"I'll just go shower first." Reen took out her lingerie and hopped to the bathroom. She wanted to much to use the bathtub but she knew she wouldn't want to get out of there especially when a television was directly opposite the tub.

She decided to use a shower instead since they didn't have enough time to waste and Joreen need to shower too.

Joreen took out their gowns and heels and looked at them one more time before walking to the dressing table to find the best style for her braids.

She spent a while there until she heard a knock on the door.

"Room service." A male voice announced.

"We didn't order anything." Joreen mumbled but asked him to come in.

Her eyes first caught sight of the bottle of wine and some chocolates being wheeled on the cart inside the room.

"Good day Ma'am." The waiter greeted with a polite bow.

Joreen looked at the boy who was obviously older than her but was greeting her very respectfully. He looked to be in his early twenties, his hair was styled neatly to the back, he was tall, handsome and wore the waiter's uniform which was neatly ironed.

"We... didn't place an order for this." She explained.

"It's a special package for those in the couples. Which means, everyone using the couples' rooms are entitled to this."

"Oh..." Joreen looked at the red wine. Someone would flip if he saw this. "Uhm.. I am not with my partner actually I..."

The bathroom door behind Joreen opened. She noticed how the waiter's eyes widened and his face coloured immediately before he turned his face away to the side.

She turned around in confusion and gasped when she saw Reen who just stepped out of the bathroom, wearing only a red lacy pant and bra. She had a towel in her hand which she was using to dry her purple coloured hair.

"What are you doing? Go back inside!" Joreen scolded.

Reen looked at her before she saw the waiter who was looking down now. She couldn't see his face but she could see how red his face was.

"Oh.. I'm... I'm sorry." She quickly apologized and reached for a towel on the bed while Joreen stepped between the waiter's view and her sister just in case he wanted to sneak a peek at Reen before she wrapped the towel around her chest.

"Sorry. I didn't know someone else was in here." Reen apologized sheepishly. She was now tying a big towel while the other smaller towel was on top of her head.

"Uhm.. it's fine. I am sorry for... well... I don't know... just... I didn't think..." He stammered with his head still down. He could not find the right words to say so he stopped talking.

Reen almost laughed but she stopped herself and grinned at Joreen who was finding the situation a bit amusing and embarrassing.

"I'll just leave now." He was about to leave when Reen asked, "Why is this here?"

His head snapped towards her and they finally got a view of each other's faces.

"Thanks for this. You can leave now." Joreen said to the waiter when she noticed he was still very uncomfortable standing there.

He bowed once more and quickly hurried out.

Once he was gone, Reen began to laugh. "He is adorable."

"I warned you before that you should stop this habit of walking around like that. Imagine if you were nude. You would have given him a heart attack!"

Reen laughed once more, "Thankfully, I wasn't completely naked. He is handsome by the way." She winked at Joreen who snorted at her.

"So why is this here?" She asked, pointing at the cart.

Joreen explained to her before she went to shower while Reen picked up a bar of chocolate. She looked at it and then at the door before she smiled and returned to the bed.

Both girls took their time to look their best and by the time they were done with their make-up, they marvelled at how pretty they both looked.

As usual, Reen helped Joreen with her make up. Her braids was tied in a high bun at the centre of her head while the front was gelled neatly. She didn't like wearing dangling earrings so she wore a little silver earring with a matching tiny necklace.

The black lace dress had a thin strap with a V-Neckline which stopped in the middle of her chest. The dress was short and had a fuzzy flare decorated with silver beads to make it look less plain. She wore a red sandal heel and held a red purse even though she really didn't need a purse for anything tonight. She didn't like wearing heavy make ups so Reen made sure it was light and nude but beautiful.

"You are so lucky I am your sister. I always bring out the best in you." Reen said smugly. She was standing behind Joreen as they both looked at their reflections on the mirror.

While everyone began to find their way to the hall, Heya remained inside her room. She sat by the window and strum her guitar while she sang one of the songs she wrote a few years ago.

She had heard the two announcements reminding the guests to go over to the hall, but she didn't pay mind to it. She had seen the brochure and map of the ship so she could easily find her way to the hall with the aid of the map, but she didn't see any reason why she should go there. She wasn't a social person, neither was she looking for a partner.

She jolted when she heard a sound behind her and turned around immediately. She was even more surprised to see a young man standing inside her room.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" She asked, looking very alert as she clutched her guitar tightly. Her guitar was very important to her, but at this moment, she wouldn't mind using it as a weapon.

He raised his hands like he was surrendering. "I am sorry. I thought this was my sister's room. Well, I guess not."

She still continued to look at him suspiciously. He was well dressed in a tux, he looked neat, organized and good looking. He was probably in his early thirties. 'He doesn't look like a pervert or serial killer.' She thought.

"You weren't sure it's your sister's room. You should have knocked." She hissed at him.

"I did. But..." He pointed at the guitar. "You probably didn't hear me."

"Does your sister play a guitar?"

"No...?" He said uncertainly as he tried to get her point.

"Then your excuse doesn't make any sense. You should have known it wasn't your sister's room when you heard the sound. How did you even get here anyway? I thought I locked the door?" Although she sounded bold, she was still very cautious.

"The... door was actually open." He said carefully while pointing at the door.

"So you just came inside and stood behind me without making your presence known? That's creepy."

"I didn't mean to be creepy I swear. I just..." He stopped talking and scratched his head.

She eyed him warily before saying, "This isn't your sister's room so leave."

"I am sorry for barging in on you like—"

"It's fine. Just leave." She said and waited for him to go. She was still holding her guitar like it was a precious weapon.

"You aren't joining the party?" He asked, observing how she was dressed. She wore a casual top and trousers and she was barefooted while everyone else was already heading to the hall.

"Now you want to have a conversation with me?" She asked with a raised brow, "...inside my room?"

"Li Heya why are you not in— Oh!" Her mother exclaimed in surprise when she opened the door and found a young man inside her daughter's room.
