Zhao looked into Mishi's eyes. "You are kind, Mishi. Accept it or not, if I had not told him, things would have been different," asserted Zhao.

"Everything happens for a reason. Don't you think so? I miss my parents and I also curse the time when my siblings needed their love the most but those things eventually made us three strong. Indeed, everything would have been different if they would be here. But now that's my past. Repenting for the things you never did isn't a wise decision. It is a tough time for us but for you it's even tougher. This friend of yours is with you," Mishi told him.

Zhao looked into the glistening, calm and warm eyes of Mishi. But the feelings he had inside him was nor describable in words. "Mishi, I don't know what to say to you as I am out of words. But you see I won't be able to forgive myself until I repent for the things where indirectly I was involved. The feeling inside me isn't at all good," proclaimed Zhao.

"What do you want to do Zhao then?" Mishi asked him.

"I want to start things afresh. I will leave these things behind which he earned with illegal means. That way I will feel better," Zhao answered.

"You can work-" Zhao cut Mishi's words in the middle. "I don't want to work there. I always wanted to start a restaurant of my own. You also know that. I will work hard for that. I will earn every single penny from my hard work. That's the best way I can free myself from the guilt that has occupied my mind," Zhao stated in an affirmed tone.

"Okay. Then where will you live?" Mishi asked him.

"I will rent a house," replied Zhao.

"Will you not let me help? You always helped me. Will you not let me help you this time?" Mishi questioned him.

"I would love to but I cannot take your help. I want to do things on my own," Zhao answered. He was adamant and determined on his decision. "Btw, how is Chang?" Zhao asked.

"He is good. Second time saw him crying. But he is in more peace now as he found the culprits. I found now that I neglected my duty as their guardian too. He was bearing all this pain all alone. I was busy in my love life and forget my siblings in that period," Mishi asserted.

"He has this nature. He does not want to trouble his Sisi who did so much for him- these are his words. Such a move brother he is!" Zhao stated and lightly smiled. "What about Chun?" he then asked.

"She has become mature with the time. She also doesn't want to trouble her sister," stated Mishi.

"What about you, Mishi?" Zhao queried her, stressing his words.

"I am feeling good. Mom- dad, and many other innocents got the justice. I am feeling overwhelmed because I have the most caring brother in this world," Mishi pronounced with a smile. Zhao got up from his seat. "Give me a hug, Mishi. Last time," Zhao stated. Mishi gave a nod and got up from her place. She walked to him and put around his arms around his neck.

Zhao's hand were wrapped around his shoulders. "I know you won't take my apologies, still I want to ask once again the sincere apologies from you, your siblings and your late parents. Thank you for coming in my life." He was weeping again. "Forgive me and thank you," the only words he could tell her as his voice again choked. Mishi caressed his back.

"Everything is fine. You always cared for me and still care- such a wonderful friend I've got in this life. Thank you too for coming into my life," stated Mishi.

They both pulled away from each other. Zhao wiped the tears off his cheeks and gave a smile to her. "I am feeling good now," Zhao stated. Mishi smiled back. "Let's go out then. They must be waiting for us." Zhao nodded and the two walked out of the room.

As they came in the living room, both Zhu Rui and Xian got up from their places. "Have you two talked everything out?" Xian asked them.

"Yes" both replied at the same time and then smiled looking at each other.

"Okay, then we are leaving because Chang- Chunhua also need their sister. I don't know how many people my Mishi has to handle," Xian said jokingly. They all laughed hearing that.

"But before leaving at least eat something with us. We will feel good," Zhu Rui pronounced.

"Next time, Zhu. We would love to dine with you two but you see those two also need me," stated Mishi. Zhu Rui nodded. "I am dropping you till the gate," Zhao offered and walked out of the living hall with them. After a while he came back.

"Are you feeling good?" Zhu Rui asked him.

"Yes," Zhao replied and embraced her. Zhu Rui was startled by this act of his. "Zhao," she called her name softly.

"Let's stay like this. I just want to calm my mind," asserted Zhao and put his head closer to crook of Zhu Rui's neck. "It feels like that my world is shredded apart in seconds. Both of them knew about this but they never let me know about this. Everything was a lie all these years," Zhao stated when Zhu felt his tears on his neck.

She lifted her hand and caressed his back. She did not utter any word, just a gentle pat followed by loving caressing she gave him.

Outside the house, in the car, Mishi was fastening her seat belt when Xian asked her if she was fine. "Hmm. I am fine," Mishi replied him when Xian leaned closer to her. "I can see tears in yours eyes," he said, gazing into her eyes.

"Let's visit their grave tomorrow," Xian told her. Mishi nodded when Xian gave her a light peck on the cheek. "You can rely on my shoulder anytime. I am there to handle you," asserted Xian.

"I know," replied Mishi. Xian leaned back and started the engine, driving to home.
