Mishi took the lunch for Xian as Li Wei told her on the call that he had his breakfast. Leaving Samuel with his grandmother, she left for the office. As she reached there, the employees there greeted her. She went to Xian's cabinet but did not find him there. She sat on the couch there, waited for him.

After twenty minutes, Xian came there with Li Wei. Seeing Mishi there he was surprised. "I told you to rest," Xian said and walked to her.

"I was resting only. I brought the lunch. Li Wei, please have a seat," Mishi said softly.

"Thanks, Mishi but I have some work and I have to leave urgently to somewhere. You two should eat," Li Wei asserted and walked out of the cabinet. Mishi looked at Xian and told him to sit. Xian sat beside her while Mishi opened the tiffin.

"Sam is missing you. Btw, I talked with Chang. Tomorrow we have to go to the court for Sam's custody," Mishi pronounced. "Then he can go to the school. He hardly studies at home. Once this thing will sort out then we have to look after Samuel. He is a child so, we have to give him proper attention," asserted Mishi.

"Why are you not saying anything?" Mishi asked him, as she picked the chopsticks and looked at Xian.

"How could I say something when my lovely wife already planned things out. I thought to just listen to your soothing voice," Xian said with a smile. He then put his hand around Mishi's shoulder and pulled her closer to him. "Ahh, I am feeling good now. Do you know the stakeholders had come in the morning. They apologized to me for being harsh on me last day," said Xian and smiled.

"I am happy that they apologized to you. They have no right to insult you," Mishi stated.

"I love you," Xian said out of sudden.

"I love you too," Mishi told him and pecked his cheek. "Let's eat then," stated Mishi and handed him the chopsticks. Xian grabbed the chopsticks and pulled back his hand from Mishi's shoulder. After the two were done eating, Mishi took a tissue paper and wiped off Xian's mouth. "Why is your hair so messy?" Mishi said and put away some of the hair strands to the left. Her fingers work like comb. After she was done, she told him to finish the work quickly.

"I will try to. For a few days, I have to check everything myself. Mishi, I am thinking of changing this stake holders. I want some loyal ones unlike them who will be standing with the company in its tough time," asserted Xian.

"So, what have you thought of?" Mishi asked.

"I will change investors. Mark and I will look into that first and then accordingly decide what can be done in such a condition?" Xian opined.

"Hmm. Great idea," replied Mishi. She closed the tiffin box and then turned her eyes towards Xian. "Don't take too much stress. Tell me if there is something I can do. I am thinking now to work along with you. I can't see my husband in the stress," asserted Mishi.

"And I do not want my wife to be in stress. I am not stressed. Just a few days," muttered Xian.

"Still you can involve me in your work. I used to be your assistant," Mishi stated.

"An amazing assistant who ate 22 cuisine meal in a go!" Xian commented. Mishi lightly hit him on the shoulder. "You did not tell me that there are 22 cuisine," Mishi snapped at him.

"I did. I asked you if you could really eat all of them and you proudly proclaimed that you can. That day is also one of the memorable days in my life. You are really an amazing woman. I still wonder how could that much food go into your stomach," Xian said with a grin.

Mishi smiled and then rested her head on his chest. "You should do your work. I am leaving for home," stated Mishi and lifted her head up.

"Okay. Let me drop you till the gate. Driver will drop you home," Xian pronounced.

"No need to see me off. Do your work. I will call you when I will be home," declared Mishi and got up from the couch along with Xian. She grabbed the bag in which she had brought the lunch.

"Wait, I am calling Shufen. He will drop you home safely," muttered Xian.

"No, don't disturb your employees for such things. I will go home. I have brought my car," Mishi told him. Xian nodded and then planted a kiss on her forehead. Leaning back he said, "let me see you off till the elevator else I will be in tension." Mishi agreed to him and the two walked out of the cabinet.

Mishi stepped into the elevator and waved at him when the door closed. Xian went back to his cabinet while Mishi stepped out of the elevator at the first floor. After that she went to her car and drove to home.

As she was driving, she happened to see Xian's father Shui Zhang who was doing some cleaning job outside a restaurant. Mishi averted her gaze from him but her heart did not let her avoid him. She recalled the time when she once asked him why does he live alone. That time he seemed a nice person to her. She parked her car in the near parking area and got out of it.

She started walking to the restaurant which was two blocks away from there. Fastening her steps, she reached there in 5 minutes and saw Shui Zhang was still cleaning those windows. She tightened her fist and took a step forward but then Xian's crying face came in front of her. "He did wrong with both mom and Xian," Mishi told herself and turned to go but again her heart told her otherwise.

After fighting with her mind and heart, she turned back to went to Xian's father. She walked towards him and after stopping a few inches from him, she spoke, "Excuse me!"

Shui Zhang who was busy cleaning those glass windows did not hear her. The restaurant owner saw Mishi outside her restaurant and quickly came outside. "Ma'am, would you like to have something?" he asked from Mishi, joining his both hands together.

Shui Zhang turned his head and found Mishi there. He turned his head back, pretending he did not see her.

"No, thank you. I want to talk with this mister," Mishi said, looking at Shui Zhang who was still busy in cleaning those windows.

"Shui," the owner called his name. Shui Zhang turned back upon hearing his name, not looking at Mishi. "Yes, sir. Do you want me to clean the second floor windows too? I think I will finish that work today," Shui Zhang stated, looking at the owner.

"I want to talk to you," Mishi intervened between them. The owner told Shui to talk with Mishi and walked in. Shui Zhang lowered his eyes and said, "We should not talk as it can lead to serious repercussions."
