Mishi's sleep broke and she found Xian was not beside him. Rubbing her eyes, she sat up on the bed and turned her head left. On the table, Xian had left a note. Mishi picked it up and read, "Love, I am leaving early for the office. You do not need to come today. Take a good rest and yes, tell Samuel that dad will soon take him to his favorite place. One note thing – do not answer Hu Shen's call. If you do then I will punish you."

A smile carved on Mishi's lips, reading that note. She got down the bed and went to the washroom. After freshening up, changing the clothes, she went out of the room. As she walking downstairs, her eyes fell on the couch where Samuel was playing with his toys. She quickly went there when Samuel saw her. He got down the couch and grabbed Mishi's one leg, hugging it tightly. "I miss you mommy. Are you good, now?" Samuel asked innocently.

Mishi bent down on her knees and kissed Samuel. "Mommy is alright. Sorry, for not talking to you last night. Did you have a good night's sleep?" Mishi asked him.

Samuel gave a nod. "Where is dad? He told me that he will take me to my favorite place," Samuel said with glistening eyes.

"Dad is in office as he has so much work to do. He will take Sam soon to his favorite place- your dad told me," Mishi told him and then took him back to the couch.

"Where is grandma?" Mishi asked Sam.

"Kitchen," replied Sam and he again started playing with his remote control car. "I am coming," said Mishi and went to the kitchen. She saw Biyu, Xia and Yin there who were cooking.

"Mom," Mishi called with a smile. Biyu looked at her. "Are you good now? Why did you leave the bed so early? You should take more rest," Biyu stated.

"Mom, I have taken enough rest," replied Mishi. She walked to her and put her hand around her neck and hugged her tightly. "I was scared yesterday but everything has turned right," stated Mishi. Xia and Yin looked at each other. Yin reached out her hand towards Mishi's back and patted it.

"Mark told me how did you come up with a strategy at the right moment. It was indeed a tough time," Yin proclaimed.

"They have already prepared that model so I thought that would be the best we could do. Although Maximus could have earn more profits if such a drastic situation had not occurred," Mishi pronounced. She pulled away from Biyu and then looked at Xia.

"Thanks for being with us," Mishi told Xia. "Btw, did Yuwan and Mark come back?" Mishi asked, looking at Xia and Yin.

"Hmm. They returned an hour ago. Now, taking rest," replied Yin.

"In a while breakfast will be ready," Biyu stated. "Mom, let me help you," said Mishi.

"No, no. You should be with Sam now. We are here so don't worry about it. Would you like to take tiffin for Xian?" Biyu asked her.

"Yes, I am thinking of that. Sam is alone outside, so, I am going out," Mishi said and walked out of the kitchen. Sam was still on the couch, playing with he car. Seeing Mishi he said, "Mommy, will you play this game with me?"

"It's a PlayStation game. We will play this but after studying. Till you are admitted to school, mommy is going to teach you," Mishi told Samuel.

"But I do not want to study," Sam stated and crossed his arms.

"Does Sam want to be like his dad?" Mishi asked from Sam.

"Yes," replied Sam.

"Then you must study. Dad used to study a lot and now he is such a successful person," Mishi pronounced. "Come with me. I will teach you a few things till you go to the school," Mishi proclaimed. Samuel nodded and got down the couch. He grabbed Mishi's hand and the two went upstairs.

Ru Shi gradually opened her eyes when she realized that she was in Gan Dewei's room. She tilted her head and found Dewei was sleeping peacefully. His one hand was rested on her belly. She lifted her hand and placed it on his cheek. She moved her thumb such that it made circles on his cheek.

"Umm… you are seducing me in the morning," Gan Dewei said and opened his eyes.

Ru Shi pulled back her hand. "You are awake then why did you act as if you were sleeping?" Ru Shi queried him.

"I did not act. I was in a deep sleep but then I felt your hand on my cheek and it was soothing. Keep doing that. It feels good," said Gan Dewei and grabbed her hand gently, placing it over his cheek.

"I have to leave. I am shifting today to a new apartment. Chang must be waiting for me," stated Ru Shi.

"I do not like when he is around you," Gan Dewei complained.

"Why? He is a nice person. I have never met such an amazing person like him," stated Ru Shi.

"Don't talk about another man in front me. I will punish you," declared Gan Dewei. Ru Shi chuckled. "Why are you jealous of him? It is the truth. He is a nice guy and-"

Gan Dewei pressed his lips against Ru Shi's which startled her. He leaned back and said, "speak more and I will punish you more."

"Ahh, you-" Gan Dewei again kissed her lips, this time more fiercely. He alternatively was nibbling her lips and bit them to get a chance to shove into her mouth. Ru Shi moaned as Gan Dewei bit her lower lip again. He quickly shoved his tongue into her mouth. Parting her from her lips, he leaned towards her slender neck and showered the wet kisses there. "Stop, Dewei. It is tingling," Ru Shi said while giggling.

Gan Dewei stopped and then gazed into her eyes. "Go freshen up. I will drop you home," he stated as he released his grip from her.
