"What did brother Xian tell?" Chunhua asked from Chang. Chang put the phone on the table. "Brother told that Hu Shen did that. He wanted to separate them," stated Chang.

"Hu Shen? Is he not the guy whose parents were close friends with dad?" Chunhua asked him. Chang nodded.

"But he used to live in the Netherlands and why is he after Sisi? Moreover, he never showed any interest in Sisi when they were in the college. Why so suddenly?!" Chunhua muttered.

"True. It is so sudden. Is Ru Shi home? I have something to talk with her," Chang said.

"No, she isn't. I don't know why are you fighting her case. Gab Dewei isn't telling the truth. Btw, who murdered her father? You must have found," Chunhua asserted and asked him.

"Umm… it is brother Zao's father, Lee Shan Bin. Gan Dewei works for him since a long time," stated Chang.

"What? Brother Zhao?" Chunhua exclaimed. "Why do you not ask brother Zhao? Is he also like him? Well, he also lied to us all those years about his true identity," Chunhua pronounced.

"That's because he wanted to win Sisi's heart. I don't think Brother Zhao knows about this. I've to ask Gan Dewei again or I have to ask Ru Shi to help in this. It is very complicated case and involvement of Zhao's father means something big," asserted Chang and leaned his back on the couch.

"I have to leave in the morning for Japan. It is a week trip," Chunhua stated.

"Take care of yourself there," Chang told her. Chunhua nodded when the doorbell rang. "I will open. Sit here," said Chang and went to the door. Ru Shi was at the door so, Chang opened the door. "You are late," he said.

"Hmm. There was rush in the restaurant," replied Ru Shi. The two reached the living hall. Chang told her to sit when she told him that she wanted to talk about something.

"About what?" Chang asked and sat beside Chunhua on the couch. Ru Shi too sat and then said, "You two have helped me a lot. I will move out tomorrow. Do not worry. The apartment is a safe," Ru Shi pronounced.

"Okay. I will check your apartment first then you can move out. If that's okay with you," said Chang.

"Why not? You can go with me tomorrow. Thank you again for helping me in my toughest time," Ru Shi stated and expressed her gratitude towards them.

"Do not say thank you. Btw, have Gan Dewei told you anything? Like whom is he saving or who was behind your father's murder?" Chang questioned her.

"We did not talk after Christmas. I do not know where he is!" Ru Shi said and lowered her head. "It seems something is going on with him," she said in a low voice. Both Chang and Chunhua looked at each other.

"Do not worry. I will look into that. You must be tired. Go to your room. I'll bring some snacks for you," stated Chang in the most polite way. Ru Shi gave a nod. She stood up and went to her room.

"What are you thinking then?" Chunhua asked Chang.

"Nothing. You should go to your room. I am going to the kitchen," asserted Chang and walked away while Chunhua went to her room. Cutting some fruits, he put them on a plate and went to Ru Shi's room. He knocked at the door. "Can I come in?" he asked.

Ru Shi immediately opened the door. Chang went in and handed her the plate. "Eat them," he said and sat on a chair there while Ru Shi sat on the bed.

"Chang, you helped me a lot like a big brother. I do not know how will I repay your kindness," asserted Ru Shi.

"If you consider me as a brother then do not say that many thanks to me. Btw, when did Gan Dewei last talk to you?" Chang questioned her.

"He called me on the Christmas eve only. I called him the next day in the noon but his phone was off," Ru Shi replied. "He told me something about his life," Ru Shi further said.

"About what?" Chang queried her. "You can tell me. It will only be a help, I guess," said Chang.

"He has a step mother who does not treat him good. He has some family issues," replied Ru Shi. Chang put a thought on them and then got up from the chair. "Everyone have their share of miseries. Eat that," saying this Chang left the room.

He came to his room and picked the car keys from his study desk. He then went to the closet and wore a long coat. Stepping out of his room, he went to Chunhua's and told her that he was going out.

"Why?" Chunhua asked who had applied face mask on her face.

"Work," replied Chang. Chunhua gestured to him to go away. Chang smiled and closed the door, leaving from there. Now he was in his car and called at Gan Dewei's number. He then called Gan Dewei's father, Weng Luo to ask about Dewei. After a few rings he answered Chang's call.

"Hello, Sir! How are you? It is Chang."

"I am good. I know as I have saved your contact. Why did you call?" Weng Luo asked from the other side.

"Actually, Gan Dewei's phone is off. Is he home?" Chang asked him.

"I do not know. He angrily left the house on Christmas eve and did not return since then. He did many times this thing. When he will be home, I will tell you," Weng Luo asserted.

Chang got the hang of the worries of Weng Luo had at that time. "Sir, your son is innocent. Someone is framing him up. I assure you that everything will turn right." Chang gave assurance to Weng Luo.

"I trust you, Chang," he said.

"Sir, Do you know any of his friends contact number?" Chang asked him.

"There is one person whom I know. I am messaging you that number," stated Weng Luo. Chang hummed at him when Weng Luo cut the call. Chang got the message from Weng Luo in a few seconds and got the contact number of one of Gan Dewei's friends.
