Xian was getting ready for the evening Christmas party when Sam came to him and grabbed his leg such that he was hugging it. "Sam, what happened? Daddy is making a knot on his tie," said Xian while looking at the mirror. But he was failed to do so. So, he bent on his knees and looked at Sam who was wearing a white-colored shirt and blue trousers. He had a Santa cap on his head which was giving him a cute appearance.

"Nothing happened," Samuel answered with a smile. Xian smiled and planted a soft kiss on his cheek. "Give daddy a kiss," said Xian, showing him the cheek. Sam did so and giggled. Xian carried him up in his arms and asked him about Mishi. "Have you seen Mommy?" Xian questioned him.

"Mommy is here," said Mishi who was at the door, smiling at them. She came inside and went to them. "Sam is a naughty kid. I told you to hide only in the hall then why did you come here?" Mingmei asked while scolding him.

"Sam was playing with you in these clothes?" Xian inquired.

Mishi nodded and then looked at Sam who was hiding his face in the crook of Xian's neck. "I was worried, Sam. I thought he has gone out," Mishi stated. Xian made Sam look at him. "Do not make mommy worry, okay," said Xian. Sam nodded. "Give a kiss to mommy," he further told him. Sam smiled and then turned to Mishi. He kissed her right cheek when at the same time Xian pecked her left cheek. "Xian," mumbled Mishi and then looked at Sam who was smiling.

"Mommy is not angry anymore. She loves us so she is always worried about us" Xian told Samuel. He then took him to the bed and made him sit on that. "Daddy does not know to make a knot. So, mommy will make one for him. Here, your toy," said Xian handing him the Ironman toy. He then walked to Mishi and then told her to make a knot for him. Mishi nodded and put around the tie around his neck. She made a knot but at the same time watching Sam too.

"You are looking beautiful," said Xian out of sudden.

Mishi turned her face to him. "What? That was so sudden," she asserted. She pulled the tie-up and then looked into his eyes. "It was not sudden. You are indeed looking beautiful. Should we not go to the party? I do not want anyone to see my beautiful wife," said Xian after that.

Mishi smiled. She hit him lightly on the chest when Xian grabbed her hand gently and put it near his chest. "Can you feel it?" Xian asked huskily, leaning closer to her.

"What?" Mishi asked. Xian leaned back and replied, "My heartbeat."

"Of course. What kind of question are you asking?" Mishi muttered and slightly smiled.

"It is beating so fast because it again fell for you," declared Xian. Mishi smiled and told him not to flirt in front of the kid as he was also hearing the things.

"Sam knows that his father is madly in love with the mother," Xian said in a low voice and then looked at Samuel who was playing with that toy. "Give me kiss on cheek took," said Xian, pointing his finger towards his cheek.

"Xian," mumbled Mishi and stepped ahead when Xian pulled her towards him. "I will not let you go. I want a kiss too," said Xian.

"Do not act like a kid. Sam will see us," Mishi whispered.

"Look, he is playing with his toy," asserted Xian.

"You will not leave me, right?" Mishi questioned.

"No," replied Xian and smiled. Mishi rose on her toes and closed her eyes when Xian turned and pressed his lips against her. Mishi immediately opened her eyes and looked at him with a surprised expression. Xian smiled and pulled away. Before she could speak, Xian went towards Sam who was on the bed. He carried him up. "We are going to Christmas Party. Sam will play there with many kids," said Xian with a smile and walked out of the room with Sam.

Mishi on the other hand put her palms over her cheeks. "Xian acts like a kid sometimes," she murmured and went towards the closet. She took out the dress for her and went inside the washroom.

Zhu Rui did not utter a word till noon which made Zhao wondered as it was a sudden change in her behavior. At times he tried talking with her but she simply ignored him. He picked his phone up and messaged Zhu Rui from it. "Why are you so quiet? It is so unusual of you," Zhao typed and then sent it. Zhu Rui who was watching something on YouTube got Zhao's message. She slid it away thus ignoring it and resumed playing the video.

"Did she just ignore my message? Why? What is wrong with her?" wondered Zhao. He again opened the chatbox and sent her the message.

"Why did you ignore my message?" he sent the message and waited for her message but she did not reply to him. This angered Zhao. He got down from the bed and walked to Zhu Rui who was on the couch. He stopped in front of her but Zhu Rui did not react.

"What is wrong with you? Why are you ignoring me?" Zhao finally spoke and snatched away Zhu Rui's phone.

"Give my phone back. I am watching something important," asserted Zhu Rui and then forwarded her hand.

"What can be more important than your husband?" Zhao snapped at her.

"Everything," Zhu Ruo replied and got up from the couch. "Now, you got the answer so give my phone back," demanded Zhu Rui and forward her hand to take the phone when Zhao pulled back his hand, thus not letting Zhu Rui take that phone.

"Zhao, do not irritate me. Give my phone back," Zhu Rui again said. But Zhao did not agree with her, instead, he stepped back. "I will not give this phone until you will answer why you ignored me," pronounced Zhao and walked back. Zhu Rui stepped towards him. "Do not be childish. I told you it was something important," Zhu Rui snapped at him.

"You are watching something on your phone since morning. You did not speak a single word after you came out of the washroom. It makes me feel like I have done something to you," Zhao asserted and continuously stepping back while Zhu Rui was stepping forward towards him.

"You should not snatch things away without the person's permission," proclaimed Zhu Rui and told him to give him her phone. "I will not," Zhao simply refused her. Zhu Rui grabbed his wrist but Zhao swiftly with his other hand took the phone and raised his hand. "I won't give you your phone until you will tell me why you were ignoring me," he declared.

Zhu Rui rose on her toes to take the phone from him but was failed at Zhao was much taller than her. She got something in her mind and then pinched Zhao's arm with as much as force she could. Zhao screamed upon this and the phone fell from his hand on the fluffy mat. "Are you nuts?" Zhao barked at Zhu Rui who had picked her phone up from the mat.

She stood up and said, "Yes, I am a madwoman who can do anything." She smiled and turned to go when Zhao grabbed her arm, thus pulling her towards him.

"And I am a mad guy who wants an answer to my questions," stated Zhao.

"Leave me. I do not want to miss that important show because of you," she pronounced.

"What? Why are you acting this way?" Zhao questioned again, looking into her eyes. Zhu Rui averted her gaze from him and did not speak anything. "Is it because I did something last night?" Zhao inquired. "What did I do to her? I am sure nothing has happened between us," Zhao thought.

"Try recalling yourself. I told you not to drink that you will regret things later," said Zhu Rui.

"Regret? Why are you saying this?" Zhao asked nervously.

Zhu Rui looked at him and then replied, "Do not worry. No such thing happened between us in the night. You said something which made me realize that I made a mistake by marrying you. I should not have returned," proclaimed Zhu Rui. Zhao's grips from her arms loosened. He was not expecting such kind of answer from her.

Zhu Rui went back to the couch while Zhao went to the bed. "What I told her which made her this angry? Earlier I tried so hard that she won't marry me but she did not step back then what happened in the night that she is saying such words?" wondered Zhao and again looked at Zhu Rui who was busy on her phone.

"Let's go out," said Zhao loudly. Upon hearing those words, Zhu Rui looked at him confusedly.
