Zhao woke up in the morning with a headache. He sat on the bed, gradually opened his eyes, and looked around. His throat was drying when he reached out his hand towards the table but he was shocked to see his bear arm. Reality hit him and looked at himself. He was wearing no shirt. He turned and saw Zhu Rui who was sleeping beside him, peacefully.

"What happened last night?" murmured Zhao and closed his eyes to recall the things. He entered in with Zhu Rui and then there was nothing. "What did I do? Did I do something with her?" Zhao mumbled and looked at Zhu Rui. "But her clothes are intact so nothing happened. But then why she is sleeping beside me when I told her not to do this?" Zhao muttered and rubbed his forehead. He got down from the bed, found his shirt on the floor. He gulped the saliva down his throat and picked the shirt up.

"What did I do?" he thought with a worried expression. He went to the closet; took out a pair of clothes for him, put them on the couch, and went inside the washroom. While washing himself up he was thinking only one thing that is what happened last night. "If something has happened then... Agh" He came out of the shower, put on the bathrobe, and came outside.

Zhu Rui also woke up and talking on the phone with her mother. She looked at him and then averted his gaze from him. "Why? Why she shifted her gaze? What happened?" wondered Zhao and went towards the couch.

After Zhu Rui was done talking, Zhao asked her, "what happened last night?"

"Huh?" Zhu Rui exclaimed.

"What happened last night?" Zhao repeated himself.

Zhu Rui chuckled, got down from the bed, and turned to go to the washroom. Zhao walked to her swiftly and grabbed her arm. "Answer me first," Zhao said. Zhu Rui turned to look at him and replied, "You should recall yourself."

"I am not recalling anything. Did something happen bet- between us?" Zhao asked with a stuttered voice.

Zhu Rui chuckled and replied, "Nothing happened. Now, leave my arm."

"Then- then why was I not wearing anything and Wh- why were you beside me?" Zhao questioned.

"I was getting cold so I decided to sleep on the bed," answered Zhu Rui and then jerked off Zhao's hand from her arm. She then walked into the washroom. She stood against the door and sat down. Flashes ran in front of her. Zhao first kissed her and then pushed her back. "How was the kiss? Do you find an- any love?" stuttered Zhao.

Zhu Rui was holding him when he jerked off her hands from him and shouted at him. "Even if you will die for me, I will never look at you because you are the reason Mishi had to undergo all those things," Zhao said loud enough which terrified her. "Why is it feeling hot?" he then said and started unbuttoning his shirt. He did so and threw the shirt on the floor. He went to Zhu and held her wrist tightly. "Sleep beside me," saying this he fell unconscious and his head rested on Zhu Rui's shoulder.

Thinking all this Zhu put her hands on her eyes. "What did I do that Mishi had to suffer? What Zhao's father did to Mishi?" she thought. "I told about this when we were in college but that time Zhao was acting naive as Mishi did not use to believe in love. But his father was saying that he talked with Mishi's father about their marriage. Mishi's father refused this relationship as he had someone in his eyes with whom he wanted Mishi to marry. Then after a few months, her parents died in an accident and Zhao started doing everything for her which he should not have.

I never told about those things to father-in -law. Then what is Zhao talking about? After 2 years I came back and then I found he was living in misery just for the sake of her. That's the time when I again talked with his father. I guess by then Mishi had met Xian so Zhao had to leave her then why is he saying that it is because of me she had to suffer?" thought Zhu Rui.

Chang went to Gan Dewei's house to talk with him when the security guard outside his home told him that he was not in the home. "Then where is he?" Chang questioned.

"I do not know, sir," the security answered. Chang nodded and went back to his car. "Is he gone to Ru Shi's campus?" Chang wondered. He looked at the watch. '12:45' "Ru Shi's class must be over by this time," he murmured and took out the phone from his pocket and called her.

Ru Shi did not answer the call. Chang again called her when the call was picked. "Hello, where are you?" Chang asked.

"She is with me. So, do not disturb me," voiced Gan Dewei.

"What are you doing on her phone?" Chang questioned him when Gan Dewei cut the call but luckily he heard something which made him wonder why Gan Dewei was with her in a restaurant. He got into the car and left for the place which he heard on the phone. In 15 minutes, he was there- outside that restaurant. He got inside and saw them. Gan Dewei was smiling while Ru Shi had a blank expression on her face. Chang walked there, pulled out a chair, and sat on it.

"What are you doing here?" shouted Gan Dewei at Chang. The other people in the restaurant looked in their direction. Ru Shi smiled upon seeing Chang. "Do not shout at the public places. I am here because of you," said Chang with a tiny smile on his lips.

Gan Dewei put down the chopsticks. "Because of me?" He chuckled.

"Yes, I have found the culprit who murdered Ru Shi's father. But I am wondering why did you involve yourself in this?" Chang muttered. He looked for a waiter and ordered a meal for him. Turning to Gan Dewei he said, "I never knew you are related to Zhao Bin."

Gan Dewei looked at him. He got up from the chair and left from there. Chang paid the bills by putting money at the table and walked out after Gan Dewei. Ru Shi too followed them. Chang ran after Gan Dewei and caught him. "What is going on? In brother Zhao's marriage, I did not see you but you are his brother- in – law. The murder was planned by-"

"Shut up!" Gan Dewei shouted at him. "Why are you getting angry? I did not take out the name of the person even who is behind this entire thing then why you are getting angry," muttered Chang. Ru Shi reached there and looked at both of them.

Gan Dewei blinked his eyes several times and then pushed Chang such that he fell on the floor. He took the chance and got into his car. Opening the window he told Ru Shi, "I will call you later. Do not try to ignore my calls." Saying this she drove away. Ru Shi helped Chang in getting up from the ground.

"Are you okay?" Ru Shi asked.

"Hmm," Chang nodded. "Who murdered my father?" Ru Shi questioned him.

"I am still not sure. But Gan Dewei was not the one who killed your father. He works for that person and I do not know how is he involved with that person?" Chang said. Ru Shi looked at the worried expression of Chang and then said, "Should I ask him?"

Chang looked at her. "Huh?" he exclaimed.

"Should I ask about this from Gan Dewei? He can tell me," stated Ru Shi.

"No. You will not involve yourself in this. You see the person he is involved with is a dangerous one and one wrong move can take anyone's life. So, do not involve yourself in this thing at any cost," declared Chang. "I will find a way to talk with Gan Dewei on this matter," he further added.

"Let's go," Ru Shi said. Chang nodded and they got into the car.

"I think Gan Dewei likes you in a good way. That is why he always chases you," asserted Chang while driving the car.

"He is just playing. I do not like him at all. I just want to complete my studies and be a journalist," stated Ru Shi.

"Do not be cold towards him. He is not that kind of person," stated Chang.

"I do not like him. I do not know how should I explain this to him?" Ru Shi asserted.

"I will not say anything in this matter. You and Gan Dewei should talk out on this soon," said Chang and smiled.

"He is not even listening to me and adamant on the fact that I should become his girlfriend," muttered Ru Shi. Chang smiled upon hearing her words.
