Zhao had just put his phone back when Xiao long called him again. Zhao reached out his hand to the table, his gaze was fixated on Zhu Rui when he answered the call and put it on one of the ears.

"Okay," saying this Zhao cut the call.

"Mom has put clothes for you in the closet. You can wear that," said Zhao. Zhu Rui gulped as she recalled the tiny nightgown there. She lied, "there was only one pair of clothes." She confidently lied to Zhao.

Zhao got down the bed. Zhu Rui turned to see where he was going when she saw he was going to the closet. She got up, picked her wedding gown up slightly above, and ran to him. Before Zhao could reach it, she stood against the closet.

"I told you already that there is nothing. I am comfortable in these clothes," said Zhu Rui while stuttering. Zhao pushed her away and opened the closet. Looking at the nightgown he said, "wear that nightgown. You will look good. I know you have chosen this because you are the one who is excited about this marriage." He grabbed it and then handed it to Zhu Rui.

"Zhao, I will not throw myself on you in this marriage. I want your willingness in every single thing," asserted Zhu Rui.

Zhao put his hands on either side of Zhu Rui's head thus blocking her from going anywhere. Gazing into her eyes he said, "You already made me marry you which was unwilling. You think I can't see through your true face."

He grabbed her chin and pulled it up. Leaning close to her lips he said, "Zhu, I hate you." He had a tiny smile on his lips saying this but his eyes were filled with hatred.

Zhu Rui blinked her eyes hearing that. As soon as they got married, this was the first thing she heard from her husband. But she did not keep mum. She responded, "it is fine. My love will eliminate your hate towards me."

"Why are you so confident that I will stop hating you?" Zhao asked, looking into her eyes.

"Because I love you," said Zhu Rui. "Loving you is enough to make me confident," she further added.

"Zhu, we are not shooting any drama. You know your presence makes me feel so low," said Zhao and then released his hands from the wall. He turned back and then turned to go towards the bed when Zhu held his one hand.

"It hurt me when you did not eat food in the night. You were after a thing which was never yours that is why I decided to tell your father about you. I want you to have a good life, not a life where you have to run after-"

Zhao turned to her and pinned her to the wall. "Stop showing your fake sympathy towards me. Earlier my life was far better than today. At least my parents did not control my life. I was happy without them too," stated Zhao.

"Let's not fight about this now. You will soon realize that this time is your best time. But I will not lose hope from this marriage at any cost," stated Zhu Rui. Zhao loosened his grip on her and went to the bed.

"I have thought of something for this Christmas," said Biyu to Xian who was sitting beside her on the couch of the living hall.

Mark, Lan Zhan, and Lau Lan were there too while Mishi and Yin were in the kitchen preparing lunch for them.

"What have you thought mom?" Lan Zhan asked.

"We will have a Christmas party. It has been a long time since there was any party we organized. Mei Fen and Liling will also be with us along with our close friends. The new year is also coming so a party before that is a must," stated Biyu.

"Mom, you are saying right. Ok, then we should start planning for it. A house party would be good, I guess," said Lan Zhan, looking at all of them.

"Umm…. No. Let's book a party hall for Christmas," suggested Xian.

"I will do that. Do not worry," said Lan Zhan with a smile. Yin came there and told them to come to the dining room for lunch. After having lunch, Lau Lan and Lan Zhan went out with Biyu while Mark and Yin went to the theme park to spend time with each other.

Mishi was cleaning the kitchen when Xian came there and hugged her from the back. "Let me help you," said Xian and took the cleaning cloth from her hand.

"Xian, I'll do it. Go to the room and get ready as we have to go to Hu Shen's house to meet him," asserted Mishi with glistening eyes.

Xian hummed and gave a peck on Mishi's cheek he left the kitchen. Mishi smiled and continued cleaning. After 10 minutes, she came to the bedroom and saw Xian was ready and looking handsome.

"Why are you so handsome? I have to hide you from girls," said Mishi and thus complimented him. Xian put on the long coat on his body and turned to her.

"I feel the same towards my wife," stated Xian with a tiny smile. Mishi went to the closet and took out a dress for her. It was of peach color with a blue flower pattern. She went inside the washroom and then came out after getting ready.

She went to the dresser and combed her hair. She tied them when Xian pulled the rubber band. "You look pretty in open hair," said Xian and stroked her hair.

"Here wear this coat. Mom shopped for you especially yesterday," said Xian and told her to spread her arms. Mishi did so and put her arms inside the coat and wore it. She put on some light makeup on her along with red lipstick. Xian on the other hand was only looking at her and was admiring her beauty.

After Mishi was done, she picked up the wallet and then put her arm around Xian's arm. "Let's go then," Mishi said. Xian nodded and they both left for Hu Shen's home.
