Chang was driving the car towards the home of Ru Shi when he noticed that a car was chasing his car. To get a confirmation he changed some lanes and got assured that he was being chased. "This is not the route of my house," murmured Ru Shi and looked at Chang who was looking at the rare view mirror and at the same time had a fixated gaze on the road.

Before Ru Shi could say something to Chang, he had increased the car's speed to such a level that made Ru Shi frightened. "Someone is chasing us. Hold on tightly, Ru," muttered Chang. Ru Shi looked back when Chang told her not to do so.

"What has happened? Who is chasing us?" Ru Shi questioned.

"I do not know," answered Chang and kept driving. His phone rang when they both looked at it. "Answer it. Put it on the speaker," Chang told to Ru Shi. Ru Shi picked the call and put it on speaker.

From the other side no one spoke so Chang said the hello to initiate the talk. "Hello, Chang Xin. This is Gan Dewei. Finally I got to talk to you," said Gan Dewei with an evil smirk. Ru Shi and Chang looked at each other. Gan Dewei further said, "You have made a huge mistake by forcing me to come to the court. Your life countdown has started." Saying this he cut the call.

The car behind them was still chasing them when Chang told Ru Shi that he would take a turn. As soon as the four lanes came, Chang turned the car with a great speed and shifted to the other lane. He kept overtaking the cars on that road, keeping in mind that he would succeed in coming out of those chasers eyes.

"They are still behind us," said Ru Shi.

Chang run his one hand on his forehead when he saw the famous night club there. "Let's go inside there. That's the only way we can get out from here," said Chang and turned the car towards the pub. Parking slightly far from it, he told Ru Shi to get down. They both stepped down the car. Chang held her hand and took her inside the night club.

After giving his ID at the entrance for a check, he entered inside with Ru Shi. He quickly took of his blazer, sleeved up and then turned to Ru Shi. She had tied her hair. He quickly took off the rubber band from het tied hairs. "Wh- what are you doing?" Ru Shi asked confusedly.

"Trust me. I cannot let us get harm in all this," said Chang. The goons after checking their Ids entered the club. "They must be here. Search them up," said their boss.

The goons separated in the club and started searching for them. Ru Shi and Chang were in the bar side. "What will happen? Are they going to-" Chang put his hand over hers and said, "Nothing will happen. I am messaging brother Zhan. He is in the police department."

He took out the phone from his pocket and dropped a message to Lan Zhan. Averting his gaze from the phone, he looked around and found a goon was coming towards them. He put his hand around Ru Shi's waist and pulled her closer to him.

"Don't move," said Chang and at the same time he glanced back. The goon was still coming towards them as he was suspicious of them. The other goon too joined him. Chang pulled Ru Shi up and held her in such an angle that it seemed to goons that he was kissing her.

"Hey, what are you looking at? Boss will kill us if we will not be able to find them," said the other goon and they both left from there. Chang took a breath of relief and then gently release Ru Shi. "Sorry," said Chang, looking at Ru Shi.

"I hope brother Zhan come here as quickly as possible," muttered Chang. He then saw Ru Shi was trembling in fear which made him hug her. "Do not be scared. Everything is fine. I will not let anything happen to you," Chang assured her.

Lan Zhan was quite worried while telling all this when Mishi came there after freshening up and changing. Lau Lan and Lan Zhan smiled seeing her. "Let me make some snacks for us," said Mishi but they both refused saying they had full stomachs.

Mishi sat beside Xian on the couch when Xian told her about Chang. "So, you are saying that he should not fight for the cases against Gan Dewei?" Mishi inquired.

"Yes, he should not. It can risk his life too. Tell him to stop," said Lan Zhan.

Mishi opened her mouth to speak. "But I do not think he will listen to me. If he has chosen this then-" Mishi's words were cut by Lan Zhan who further said, "Mishi, Chang should not involve himself in such cases." Suddenly his phone got buzzed and he took it out from the pocket.

He looked at the phone screen and saw Chang's name. He read the message. "Mishi, I have to go. I have some work from the police station," said Lan Zhan and got up from the couch. Lau Lan too got up to leave with Lan Zhan.

"Mishi, talk with him regarding this tomorrow, okay," said Lan Zhan and walked out, towards the door. Lau Lan too followed him and they both left from there.

Mishi looked at Xian when Xian said, "Let's talk with Chang tomorrow." Mishi agreed with Xian as she was also getting worried after Lan Zhan told her that if he would not stop then that may endanger his life.

Outside the residential building, Lau Lan asked Zhan why did he leave from there out of sudden.

"Some goons are after Chang. He is hiding in the main city's night club. He wants my help that's why I had to leave," muttered Lan Zhan and called his other team mates.

Zhao Bin reached home when he saw Zhu Rui and her family with her parents. They all were laughing as it was some happy occasion. Lee Shan noticed Zhao Bin and told him to come there. Zhao nodded and greeted the Feng family.

Zhao looked at Zhu Rui and he recalled the kiss incident with her. "Zhao, have a seat," said Chynaa, his mother. Zhao nodded and sat beside her on the couch.

"I am happy that we both are taking this relationship ahead. Now, they both have agreed on their first date so it is good that we are going to privately engage them," said Mr. Feng. Hearing this Zhao got shocked because he had not agreed for this relationship yet.

Zhu Rui looked at Zhao who was in disbelief and a deep thought. "Uncle, I love him since the time I entered the same college as him. We were in same batch. I am surprised that Zhao did not able to recognize me," asserted Zhu Rui.

Zhao looked at her with shocking eyes when he heard his father spoke. "He always refrain from getting close to girls. Zhao, it is a coincidence that your classmate is going to be your wife," said Lee Shan Bin.

"Let's start with this private engagement ceremony," said Chynaa. They all agreed and told Zhao to sit beside Zhu Rui. Zhao wanted to stop all this but he was bound by his father's threat that he would harm Mishi if he would refuse for this relationship. With an unwilling heart, he sat beside Zhu Rui.

The ring boxes were opened up. Chynaa gave the diamond studded rings to both of them. "Zhao, put this ring in Rui's finger," said Chynaa softly. Zhao nodded and did that, followed by Zhu Rui. They all clapped and put the sweets in each other's mouth in happiness. Zhao was ready to leave from there, not interested to be a part of their relationship when Lee Shan Bin told him to take Zhu Rui upstairs to his room.

Zhao looked at his father with utter disbelief but he could not say anything to him. He left form there and Zhu Rui followed him. As they entered inside Zhao's room, Zhao turned to Zhu Rui and said, ""I have never encountered the woman like you ever in my life."

"I know I am unique and I should be because I am the only who can make you crazy," said Zhu Rui.

"I told you that I have a woman whom I love then why-" he then stopped speaking and ran his fingers through his hairs.

"A married woman, you should say. You are still after Mishi who never accepted your love," said Zhu Rui. Zhao got shocked to hear this as he had never told about this to anyone.

"Don't be shocked. I know everything related to you. I have waited almost 9 years for this day," she further added.
