Yuwan was in the room searching for some important file when he heard the shout of Xia from inside the washroom. Quickly he went towards the washroom and went inside. "Xia," whispered Yuwan.

He ran to her and bent down on his knees. "Yuwan, my waist is hurting like crazy," murmured Xia with low screams.

"I'll check. Don't worry," stated Yuwan and carried her in his arms. Gently he put down Xia on the bed. Xia was wincing in pain when Yuwan told her to lay down on the support of her stomach. Xia did so. Yuwan put up her top slightly and touched the area, asking her where she was feeling pain.

"Yes, there. It's hurting," whimpered Xia.

"Don't worry. We will go to the doctor. Wait let me book an appointment," stated Yuwan and called the hospital where he used to work as a doctor. After booking an appointment he caressed her back gently. "How many times did I tell you to clean the water from the floor? Good thing you're not hurt much," murmured Yuwan.

The house doorbell rang. Yuwan went out to open the door. The maid came in and greeted him. "Boa, Xia is hurt so if you could work in the day too that would be of great help. I might get busy to some meetings and apart from you-"

"Xia is hurt. Don't worry, I'll be with her. Where is she?" Asked Boa.

"She's in the room. Go meet her," said Yuwan. Boa nodded and went inside to meet Xia. Yuwan called Qiang telling him to delay his meetings.

"Why? What happened?" Inquired Qiang.

"Xia hurt her back. I've to take her to the hospital. So schedule the meetings afternoon," said Yuwan while going to the kitchen.

"Okay I'll handle it. Tell Xia to take care of herself," said Qiang and hung up the call. Yuwan drank the water and then took a bottle from there to the room. He went inside his room and saw Boa was helping Xia in getting up.

Yuwan went there and held one arm of Xia, picking her up gently. "Please make her ready. I'm checking the other things," said Yuwan and walked out, putting the bottle on the table. Boa helped Xia in getting ready and told Yuwan about that. Yuwan carried Xia in his arms and took her out towards the car.

Putting her inside the car, Yuwan told Boa to take care of the house. He then drove to the hospital, leaving from there with Xia.

Boa went inside the house and sat on the couch, stretching her arms widely. "So, you married him? Such a rich man. How could she be happy? Yuwan is such a gentleman. Xia isn't suited for him. Like she broke my relationship, I'll end hers," muttered Boa, smiling evilly.

Yuwan and Xia reached the hospital where the doctor examined Xia. He prescribed her bed rest for two weeks and told Yuwan to take care of his wife. Yuwan thanked him and then left for the home with Xia.

Shufen came to Xian's cabinet. Xian raised his head to look at him and told him to sit. Taking his glasses off, Xian asked if he got to learn anything about Shui Zhang.

"Sir, Shui Zhang is living in the residential apartment block, South of Metro station," stated Shufen.

"That area is quite an expensive place to live. What work does he do?" Asked Xian.

"Sir, he works as a salesman. Earlier he used to work as a driver for your wife. Mr Wei and Mrs Zhang's brother, Mr Chang, are helping him. They have provided him the place to live in. Mr Chang and Wei take care of the things for him," stated Shufen.

Xian was shocked to hear that Chang was also helping Shui Zhang. He thanked Shufen and dismissed him from there. Xian laid his head back on the chair. "For now I won't do anything. Let Mark and Yin get married, after that I'll take care of the business with you," murmured Xian when his phone rang.

"Lau? Why is he calling me at this hour?" Thought Xian and answered the call.

"Xian, are you free?" Questioned Lau without asking any other thing.

"Yes. Something urgent?" Xian asked.

"Liling wants to talk to you. I'm putting the phone on speaker," said Lau Lan and turned on the speaker.

"Liling, how are you? How long are you gonna stay in the U.S.?" Asked Xian with a smile.

"Xian, I'm good. Don't worry, I'm shifted here permanently. Tell me how are you? Sorry couldn't come early. You were injured too," said Liling.

"It's fine. I'm good," replied Xian.

"Lau told me that Mishi isn't recalling anything. It must be tough for you. I've a plan. I'm thinking of going to Mishi's house as her doctor. That way Zhao won't try to get close to her and I'll try my best to make her recall about her past," stated Liling.

"But how will you? I mean-"

Liling cut his words and said, "Mishi doesn't know about me. I'll go as her close friend. Lau Lan has told me many things about you two so I'll do things my way. In the day I'll go to the hospital and at night I'll be around Mishi."

"Yes, this idea is great. Thanks for helping me at this tough time." Xian expressed his gratitude.

"Hey! Don't ever say thanks. We are family so no thanks is required among us," stated Lau Lan.

"Exactly! Now, Xian, you don't worry about your wife because I'm there. Okay then see you later," said Liling and hung up the call. Xian smiled and put the phone down on the desk.

He put on his glasses and again started working. He was so immersed in the work that he didn't realise that it's late evening and he had to drop Mishi home.

The buzzing sound of the phone disturbed him. Without looking at the screen he cut the call.

"What? Why did he cut my call? I think he's working," murmured Mishi and walked out from her cabinet. She thought not to disturb Chang so booked a taxi for her home.

Xian on the other hand was done with the solution he was finding for the query. He flipped his hair, running his fingers across them and looked at the time. "7 p.m. Mishi. Oh I've to drop her home," murmured Xian and immediately picked his phone from the desk.

"Oh no! She called me?" Murmured Xian and quickly dialled her number. Mishi answered his call after the two rings. "Mishi, I'm sorry. I was-"

Mishi cut Xian's words and said, "I understand. You might be busy at work. I'm on my way home."

"Whom are you with? I'm coming there," stated Xian and got up from the chair.

"I'm in the taxi," replied Mishi.

"Mishi, send me your location. I'm coming," said Xian and walked out of his cabinet.

"No need. I'll reach soon. I will talk to you later. The voice isn't clear," said Mishi and cut the call. She then dropped a message to Xian. "Don't worry about me. I'm not a kid and you don't have to come to pick me up. I'm fine now so I will drive my car from tomorrow. Bye. Drive safely."

Xian giggled seeing the message. "She's really a caring wife. When your memories will come back, mine too. It's really tough to leave without you even for a second but then Chang told me your doctor has told you not to tell you instantly. You will recall after sometime," murmured Xian and got into the elevator.

He reached the parking lot, got into his car and left from there to Mishi's home. Yes, he thought to see Mishi before going home.

Mishi reached the home in 30 minutes and almost went inside the gate when she saw Xian's car coming there. Mishi was startled to see him so she got down the 5 stairs. Xian applied the brakes and stepped out of the car.

"I told you not-" Before she could actually complete her words, Xian embraced her into a tight hug. Mishi was surprised by his gesture. "I just wanted to see you before going home. Did I do something wrong?" Inquired Xian, pulling her more closely.

Mishi gradually put her hands on his shoulders. "No, it's not wrong. But you don't have to run so much and exhaust yourself," replied Mishi in a low voice.

"I'm not exhausted. Car brought me here so just scold the car," murmured Xian. Mishi laughed slightly hearing his joke. Xian released her and then stroked her hair. "Now, you agreed to be my girlfriend?" Asked Xian.

"Eh- umm…"

"It's okay. You don't have to reply to me now. You can later," Xian mumbled.

"Hmm," Mishi hummed.

Xian smiled and told her to go inside the house. Mishi turned to leave when Xian grabbed her hand. Mishi turned to look at him. "Remember my words- I love you dearly. You are like my lifeline. I want you to be my wife. I mean- uh...we can marry again. Ah, I mean I see you as my behalf," stated Xian.

Mishi slightly smiled and then told him that he should leave as it's late. Xian nodded and got into his car. He gestured to her to go in. Mishi nodded and went inside. As she walked inside she thought about the glimpse in the office while working where she was lying beside Xian on a grassy floor, gazing at the stars.
