Xian was getting ready for the office when Bai came inside his room, quietly. She back hugged Xian which startled him. Immediately he released her hands from him and turned to him.

"What happened? Why did you come so early?," asked Xian, looking at her.

"Nothing happened. Can't I come to see my soon to be fiance?," questioned Bai Lao. Xian felt uneasiness but kept mum.

"Go downstairs. I'm coming in a while," stated Xian. Bai nodded and left his room. Taking a breath of relief he mumbled, "why does she come here every now and then? I've to throw her out of my life at any cost."

Turning to the mirror, he put a tie around his neck but to his surprise he wasn't able to make a proper knot. Putting away the tie, he picked up his wallet and walked downstairs to have breakfast.

At the breakfast table, Yin was serving everyone breakfast. Seeing Xian, they became happy and told him to come quickly. Xian sat beside his mother. Yin served him breakfast too and they all started eating.

"Xian, why didn't you wear a tie?," inquired Bai, who was beside him.

"I wasn't able to," answered Xian and drank the freshly prepared orange juice. Mark recalled Xian used to tell him that only Mishi could put a tie around his neck. He looked at Xian and thought, "I wish your memory will return soon!"

Finishing the breakfast, Xian left for the office with Mark telling Biyu not to worry about him as he was completely fine and healed.

As Xian stepped out of his car in front of the entrance of Maximus, his secretary Li Wei, managing directors and other managers welcomed him warmly.

"Mr Zhang, thanks for becoming healthy again. The company missed you. It's good to see you," said Lee Yang, the managing director. Xian thanked all of them for their warm wishes and told them they would work hard again to make the company reach a good height.

After the warm welcome, Xian left for his cabinet along with his secretary, Li Wei. Mark already told him, if he would need any kind of help then just call for him.

Li Wei told Xian about his working schedule in which Xian's signatures were needed on the important files which were related to the projects which Maximus delayed after Xian's sudden accident. Xian thanked Li Wei and started working.

He first opened the market stocks on his personal computer. "Ahh, stocks plunged a little bit. Mark did his best that's why under his leadership the company didn't get into much losses," murmured Xian.

The peon came there with a coffee. Keeping the coffee on the desk, he left from there. Xian while sipping the coffee, continued doing his work.

Mishi was in the car with Chang and was in deep thinking. "Should I buy something for him? What if he doesn't like the thing which I'll give him? But if I'll go empty handed it won't be good," murmured Mishi.

"What happened, Sisi? What are you murmuring?," asked Chang who was driving the car. Mishi turned his head to look at him.

"Chang, I want your opinion. Should I buy a gift for Mr Xian as he saved me?," asked Mishi.

"Yes, you should. He saved you so as a thank you can give him something," said Chang with a smile, keeping his eyes fixated on the road.

"What should I buy? I'm confused," stated Mishi.

"You can buy anything, like which he will remember," answered Chang. Mishi nodded and after thinking for a while she told him that she should buy a tie for him as he's a businessman. Chang liked the idea and turned the car to a men's clothing shop.

As Mishi bought a tie and came out of the shop, her eyes fell on the flower shop which was beside the dress shop. Chang noticed her and asked if she wanted to buy flowers for him.

"Should I?," asked Mishi. Chang nodded and internally was jumping with happiness. Mishi walked with him towards the flower shop. A lady came out and asked her what kind of flowers she wanted. Mishi after thinking for a while bought a little flower pot.

She bought a mini cacti in a mini pot and then left with Chang for Maximus. As they stepped out of the car in the parking lot, Chang got an urgent call. The time for the case he was handling was changed so he was needed urgently in the court.

"Sisi, I have to leave as the case in which I was working was shifted," said Chang. Mishi told him to go but he told her that he would leave her inside the office first so told her to hurry.

"Chang, the case is more important. Moreover, I've reached Maximus. I'll call Mark and will ask him to take me in," said Mishi. Chang nodded and told her to take care of herself. Mishi nodded and wished him best for the case.

As Chang left from there, Mishi called Mark but his call wasn't reachable. After trying for 2-3 times, she decided to go on her own. Taking gradual steps, she reached the entrance of Maximus.

She asked the receptionist about Xian to which she told Mishi that she couldn't meet him as she had to take an appointment first. "I know him. I mean I know his brother, Mark Zhang and…"

The receptionist cut Mishi's words and told her that she couldn't let her in without a valid appointment. Hearing that Mishi got sad and thought to wait for Xian, sitting on the sofa there. She kept waiting for him but he didn't come.

"I think he will come down late. I should leave and try coming tomorrow," thought Mishi. She sighed looking at the gifts which she bought for him and then walked towards the exit. As she was going out from the revolving door, Li Wei's eyes fell onto her who was coming inside.

"Mishi!" Called Li Wei happily. Hearing her name Mishi turned to him and confusedly looked at him. "I'm Li Wei. I'm Secretary of Mr Xian Zhang. You here?," asked Li Wei.

"Ah, sorry I wasn't able to recognise you. Actually I came here to meet Mr Zhang. I mean h-he.." Li Wei understood and before she could actually complete her words, he took her with him. Li Wei informed the receptionist to let Mishi come whenever she wanted to and then left with Mishi for Xian's cabinet.

As they reached outside the cabinet of Xian, Li Wei told Mishi to go inside as he had to go to the director's office for some work. Mishi nodded and thanked Li Wei. Li Wei smiled and left from there. Mishi lightly pushed the door to get inside when she saw Xian. A smile carved on her lips and she asked him, "Can I come in?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Xian raised his head to look at the woman. Immediately he got up from the chair and walked to her. "Yes, you can," replied Xian and held her arm to support her.

Making her sit on the couch he asked if she wanted something to drink to which Mishi asked for water. Xian nodded and called the peon, telling him to bring a water glass.

"You came all alone in this state?," asked Xian, keeping the phone on his desk.

"No, my brother has come to drop me but he had to leave urgently for the court. Then I wasn't given the entry to Maximus as I didn't have the appointment to meet you. Luckily I met with your Secretary and he brought me here." Mishi narrated the entire incident to Xian.

"Sorry for the inconvenience," said Xian when the peon came with water. Mishi thanked him and drank the water. Xian sat opposite her on the sofa.

After the peon left, Mishi spoke, "Mr Zhang, this small gift is for you. You saved me from that accident and then got injured." Mishi politely said, looking at Xian's hand.

"It wasn't needed..Mi," said Xian.

"My name is Mishi Xin," said Mishi with a smile. Xian's heartbeat raised just by hearing her name. "Means I was searching for the right girl. But why isn't she recognising me. If I had proposed to her in the past, she would have recognised me," thought Xian.

"What are you thinking, Mr Zhang?," asked Mishi in her soft voice.

"Ahh, nothing. Please call me Xian. I mean we know each other. Thanks for the gift though. Should I need to check them?," asked Xian, looking at Mishi to which she agreed.

Xian took out the box from one of the gift bags and opened the box. "Ahh, a tie! Nice choice," said Xuan with a smile. "How should I tell I don't even know how to wear a tie? I think I've to lie to her," thought Xian.

"You should wear it. I want to see how it looks," said Mishi.

"Eh," Xian looked at her and nodded. He tried making a knot but failed. Mishi found out that Xian doesn't know how to tie a knot. She got up from the sofa and went towards him.

"Should I make one for you? I mean I can…," murmured Mishi. Xuan blinked for a while and then nodded.

Mishi sat beside him and then put around the tie around his neck. Xian got a flash in which a woman was helping her wearing the tie. He jerked his head when Mishi pulled the tie accidentally in turn Xian leaned to her.

An awkward silent formed between them as their faces were too close.
