Chunhua helped Mishi in getting ready. She was wearing a blue coloured strapless short dress, slightly above knee. The pearl necklace around her neck and the pearl earrings in her ears were making her more mesmerising and charming. Her hair was kept open with slight curls on the lower part of the hair

Chunhua on the other hand was wearing an off shoulder light pink coloured knee -length dress. The diamond earrings were looking perfect on her. Chunhua has also put her hair open but we're straight.

Mishi's left foot has a cast on it since it wasn't healed fully. Weng Wei couldn't make it to the party as he had a shooting going on in some other city. Chang came there in his black tuxedo dress. Both his sisters smiled seeing him.

"Looking like a handsome gentleman!" Mishi complimented Chang giving a white teeth smile to him. Chang hugged his both sisters and said, "you two are looking pretty. Let's go then before we get late." Chang put a hand around his sister's waist, helping her in walking.

They turned to leave when Zhao Bin came there. Mishi and Chunhua smiled seeing him but Chang didn't like his presence a bit. "Why did you come?," asked Chang rudely.

Mishi looked at Chang and said, "in what way are you talking with Zhao?"

"Apologies, brother. I just want to say that you should be there in the hotel," muttered Chang.

"I thought of taking you three there with me as I was nearby this locality for some work," reasoned Zhao.

"Okay, let's go else we will get late for the party," said Chunhua with a smile and they all left from there. After two hours they reached the hotel. As they walked in, Yuwan and Xia met them.

"How are you Mishi? Doing good?," asked Yuwan.

"Yes. You two didn't even come to meet me," complained Mishi. Xia side hugged her and said, "We thought to meet you at the party." Mishi smiled and then said, "You two are looking good." Yuwan thanked her for the compliment.

There were 12 stairs to get inside the hotel when Chang held Mishi's hand and helped her climb those stairs. Xia was helping Mishi from the other side. As they reached the top, the usher gave them eye masks. Coxeer women masks were given to Chunhua, Xia and Mishi while masquerade masks were given to Chang, Yuwan and Zhao.

Mishi got a combo of silver and golden coloured coxeer mask. Wearing the masks they went in the grandeur hotel, birthday hall. As they entered, Lan Zhan and Lau Lan came there to greet them.

"Pretty Ladies, we aren't able to recognise you so please tell me who's who?," questioned Lan Zhan. They all smiled and told about them to Lan Zhan.

"Mishi is recognizable because of the cast around her leg. Well, Mishi as usual you are looking beautiful," complimented Lau Lan.

"Brother, am I not beautiful?," asked Chunhua, making a pout.

"Chun, this question shouldn't be asked. Everyone knows about your beauty. Well, today you've to sing a song for Mark. We also want to hear your soothing voice," said Lan Zhan excitedly. Biyu saw them so she excused herself from the friends who were present there.

"Lau, Lan Zhan you two kept them still there. Come inside please and take your tables," stated Biyu. Zhao, who was standing beside Mishi, grabbed her hand gently and took her from there. Chang didn't find it good but in the party he didn't say anything to him.

Xia told Yuwan that she will be Mishi for a while to which Yuwan agreed. Chang and Yuwan then left to meet Xian with Lau and Lan Zhan.

"Did you invite Bai Lao too?," asked Chang in a hoarse voice.

"We have no control over her. Even if we will drop her from doing so, she won't listen to us and come here," stated Lau Lan.

"Well, there's something I want to tell you all. Bai is the main suspicion of this case. Don't let her get close with brother Xian," muttered Chang. The trio looked at him and stopped walking

"What do you mean?," asked Yuwan.

"I'm the lawyer for this case. I talked with officer Danzae. He told me that Bai had hand in our parents' murder so it could be a possibility that she did their accident," stated Chang.

"Chang is saying absolutely right. Danzae told me the same. That's why we have to make them recall about each other," said Lan Zhan, looking at all of them.

"It's a party. Let's talk about this later," suggested Lau Lan and they walked away from there. Mark was wearing a white shirt, black trousers and grey blazer. Xian was teasing her when Biyu came there and told them it's time to cut the cake.

Chang and Yuwan arrived with Lau and Lan Zhan there. Chang smiled seeing Xian who was wearing a black Armani suit. Xian again wasn't able to recognise him as it was his first time seeing Chang after the accident. They all greeted each other when Chang hugged Xian tightly.

Xian was shocked by his behaviour. "How are you brother?," asked Chang. Xian patted his back after a while and answered, "I'm good. Sorry for not able to recognise you." Chang released him and told him that he didn't need to apologize.

Yin came there and said, "Everyone is waiting for Mark. Let's go and don't let guests wait anymore." They all agreed with her and left from there.

As Mark entered with his family in the hall, the lights were turned off and the light's only focus was on Mark and his family. Mishi was smiling looking at them. The cake was being cut while the background birthday song was being played. Mark took a small piece and made Biyu; Xian eat the cake, then to Yin; Lan Zhan and Lau Lan.

After the cake cutting, the party started. Chunhua sang a song for Mark and everyone started dancing there. "Woah!! Is she an idol?," asked Xuan curiously from Lau Lan who was sitting beside him on the table.

"Yes. She's an idol," replied Lau Lan with a smile. Chunhua took Mark and Biyu on the stage to dance with her. Lan Zhan and Chang also followed her. Some other friends of Mark too got on the stage. Mishi was happy seeing this.

"Why are you taking off your eye mask?," asked Lau Lan.

"Because it's irritating me," replied Xian when Lau Lan said, "don't. It's the party's theme. Mark will be angry if you put it off."

"Okay," answered Xian.

Mishi's phone started ringing and it was from her cousin, Weng Wei. She walked out of there to talk with him when Xian saw her. "She is injured then why come to this party?," thought Xian. He looked at Chang who was on the stage.

"I should go behind her. What if she injured her foot again?," murmured Xian and stood up from his seat. Lau Lan raised his head and asked him where he was going.

"I'm coming...wait here," saying this Xian left the hall.

"Weng Wei, I'm fine. Don't worry. I've Chang, Chunhua, Zhao, Xia and many others here. You should focus on your shooting. I want to see that drama so you must act good, " stated Mishi with a smile on the phone.

"Okay. I will. Take care of yourself. Mom and dad will be there by tomorrow," said Weng Wei from the other side of the phone.

"Hmm. I'm hanging up as I've to enjoy the party too," said Mishi and hung up the call. She was standing near the stairs so when she turned to go inside the hall, her foot slipped.

"Ahh," shouted Mishi, forwarding her arm, closing her eyes when a hand caught her hand. She opened her eyes and saw a man but his eyes had a masquerade eye mask who was none other than Xian.

The next second she was pulled up. The force was so sudden that her lips landed on the person who just saved him. They both felt something strange in their hearts. They were gazing into each other's eyes.

Mishi pushed him and put her palm on her mouth. "Sorry, that wasn't meant. It was sudden. How should I explain?," murmured Xian when Mishi put her hand down.

"It's fine. Thanks for saving me," saying this Mishi turned his left to get inside the hotel when Xian said, "let me go help you. Your foot is injured."

"It's fine. I'll go myself," saying this Mishi left from there.

"Why did my mind go blank as we kissed? Why does it feel like I've met this woman before? Her touch was familiar. Is she Mi?," thought Xian and looked at her, who was walking slowly towards the hall.

"Xian, go after her. You've to ask her name. This is the only way by which your questions could be answered," said his mind and he ran after Mishi.
