Xian's eyes opened up and the first word he said was 'mom'. The doctor was happy because like a miracle Xian was saved or it could be said that Xian didn't want to lose his life.

The doctor got up from the chair and then checked Xian's vitals. They were normal. The doctor started asking him a few questions.

"What's your name?," the doctor asked the very first question.

In a meek voice Xian answered, "Xi...Xian Zhang." Doctor has to bend down near Xian's mouth to listen to his answer.

"How many members do you have?," the doctor asked the second question.

"Two," answered Xian. The doctor nodded and then asked another question.

"Who's your brother?"

"Mar...Mark Zhang," answered Xuan. Seeing the weak condition of Xian, the doctor thought to ask the remaining questions after he would be fine. The doctor looked at the nurse and told her something.

"Xian, for now take rest. You are now fine. I'll talk to you later,", stated the doctor and walked out from there. As he stepped out of the room, everyone surrounded him.

"Mr Zhang is alright. He has woken up. He's resting for now. Don't worry everything is fine now," said the doctor. Biyu and Mark thanked the doctor for saving him. The doctor then excused himself from there.

Mark hugged her mother tightly. "Xian is fine now," murmured Mark while crying. He then hugged Lau Lan who consoled him. Everyone was happy but then they recalled about Mishi.

Chang came running there and told them that Mishi had woken up. All were happy. The two days were really difficult for these families but now everything was fine. The doctor who was examining Mishi also told them that she needed rest so they could meet her later.

The evening turned to night. Both the families were still there, eager to meet the two. Xian was looking at the ceiling. "M...Mi," murmured Xian. The doctor who was checking his heartbeat and pulse rate heard that.

"Are you trying to say something, Xian?," questioned the doctor.

Xian nodded. "Who is Mi?," asked Xian in a low voice. The doctor got doubts so he started asking questions from him.

"Do you remember how you injured this badly?," asked the doctor. Xian shook his head in refusal.

"Do you have a wife?," the doctor asked the second question.

"No," answered Xian. The doctor's doubts now got clear. He understood that Xian had forgotten a part of his memories.

"Please take rest Mr Xian. In a while your family members will meet you," stated the doctor. Checking the glucose drips he walked out of there.

"Doctor is he fine?," asked Mark.

"Yes, he is absolutely fine now. Just need some time for recovery. Well, a problem has arisen. Xian has a memory loss. I don't know the years of memory he has lost right now but he doesn't remember that he's married to Mrs Zhang," said the doctor.

"What are you saying, doctor?," asked Yuwan.

"Please come to my cabin. I'll explain to you elaborately," suggested the doctor. Mark told his mother to stay there along with others while Mark, Yuwan and Lau Lan walked after the doctor.

In Mishi's room, the doctor was congratulating Mishi for waking up from the coma. "So, are you ready? I'm going to ask a few questions from you," said the doctor. Mishi nodded.

Doctor started with normal questions : her name; family members etc etc. Mishi answered him every single question. The doctor then asked about her marriage.

"I'm not married, doctor." Replied Mishi. The doctor was thinking that Mishi might lose her memory and something similar happened. He then told her about some names which Mishi wasn't able to recall.

The doctor looked worried but then he told Mishi that she should take rest. Talking with her for a while, the doctor left from there and told her family members to come to his cabinet as he had to talk about something important with them.

"So, you mean that there's momentarily memory loss and you don't know till when this will persist," said Mark to the doctor.

"Yes. When a person undergoes a traumatic experience so the mind forgot that part to save the person as it can disturb him/her mentally. So, I would like to suggest that not to talk about his wife and the people related to her in front of him," stated the doctor.

"But Luiyan you know they both are married. How long will we be able to separate them. Someday their memories will be back.."

Luiyan cut Yuwan's words and said, "I know. But triggering his brain could be worse for him. He might undergo more mental health issues.

This accident is a trauma for him and as a doctor I would like to suggest not to talk about his past for sometime. Putting pressure on the brain right now could be dangerous and you also know about this," muttered Luiyan.

"You're saying right. Let's not talk about these things with him for now. He doesn't know Mishi and I doubt he has lost every single memory related to her," said Lau Lan.

"Yes, I'm saying the same thing. Please tell your family members about this and make sure for sometime not to talk about his past," stated Luiyan again.

Similar things were told by Mishi's doctor to her family members. For the safety for Mishi and Xian both the families decided not to mention about their marriage including the other past events.

As Mishi saw her brother and sister she became happy. The nurse raised the bed partially for Mishi so that she could talk to her family members comfortably and then excused herself.

Seeing Chang and Chunhua Mishi got happy. "You two have grown so much. Doctor told me that I've lost some memories due to this accident. So, I won't be able to recall what happened in these two and a half years," said Mishi.

Chang and Chunhua on doctor's suggestion didn't say anything. "Sisi, you don't have to worry about that. Gradually you will remember everything," said Chang with a bright smile.

"Sisi, our uncle didn't kill our parents. It was someone else and he's in jail. Do you remember this?," asked Chunhua. Mishi shook her head in refusal.

"So we were thinking wrong about him?," inquired Mishi.

"Yes," replied Chang. "Everything is fine now. We live with them," said Chang.

"I think I've lost many important memories," murmured Mishi.

"No no. You will recall them after sometime," said Chunhua. Yaixi, his wife Ginni and their son Weng Wei entered the room. Mishi smiled seeing them. Ginni quickly came to Mishi and kissed her forehead.

"You frightened us," Ginni said in a choked voice. Mishi apologized to her. They all talked with each other for a while. Zhao Bin, who was outside the room, was eagerly waiting to meet Mishi. As soon as they all came out he told them he also wants to meet Mishi.

"Why are you asking brother? Just go in," said Chang. Without wasting any second Zhao Bin went inside the room. As he saw Mishi tears formed in his eyes and he ran to her. Mishi smiled seeing him.

"I want to hug you tightly but I can't right now as you're injured," said Zhao Bin. Mishi smiled and told him to do that later.

"You made me worried. I thought ....leave it. I'm happy that you're absolutely fine," said Zhao Bin. Mishi smiled and they talked for a while when the nurse came there and told Zhao that the patient needed some rest.

"Mishi, sleep now. We will talk later," saying this Zhao walked out from there.

Xian was smiling seeing his mother, brother and friends. He wasn't able to recognise Yuwan and Xia which clearly means Xian had no memories of two and a half years.

"I am sorry not able to recall you two but maybe after sometime I'll recognise you," said Xian.

"It's fine. Just take care of yourself," stated Yuwan to which Xian nodded.

Lan Zhan and Mei Fen reached there from the police station. A broad smile carved on Xian's lips seeing the two.

"If you wouldn't be hurt then I would've punched you for making us worry," said Lan Zhan. Everyone smiled hearing.

"Before that Mei Fen would've knocked you down," said Xian and laughed. Yin giggled hearing that along with others.

"Xian is saying absolutely right. Lan Zhan, you can't hurt Xian because I'll beat you before you'll do that," said Mei Fen.

"My girlfriend is now taking the side of Xian now. Xian this isn't good," said Lan Zhan and all laughed hearing this.

Xian looked around when Biyu asked him what he was searching for. Xian looked at his mother and asked, "Why isn't Bai Lao here?"

The question was sudden and unexpected. Mark and others looked at Xian worriedly.

"What do you mean?," asked Lau Lan.

"My girlfriend, Bai Lao. Where's she? I'm injured so she must be here," stated Xian.

"I'm here Xian," said a voice and it was none other than Bai Lao.
