Xian was done signing a deal with his new business partner from the Philippines when Li Wei came inside the conference room, telling him that Yuwan Ping had been waiting for him for 2 hours. Xian nodded and got up from the chair.

"Take this file and give it to Mark. He knows what to do ahead," stated Xian and then left from there to his cabinet. As he went inside the cabinet, he saw Yuwan was talking with someone on the phone. He didn't make a noise and silently walked in. As Yuwan ended the call, Xian went to him.

"Xian, when did you come?," asked Yuwan and got up from the sofa, shook hands with Xian.

"Just a few seconds ago," said Xian and gestured to him to sit. "Would you like to have some coffee? What's the occasion that you've to come here?," asked Xian.

"No coffee, thanks. Well, Xia and I got married in such circumstances that we didn't call anyone close to us. We have decided to have a small dinner at our house. You know after dad's demise Xia and I are trying to come out of those things. Xia told me to call your family for dinner tonight. I also invited Mishi's family and thought to personally come here," stated Yuwan.

"Lau Lan and Lan Zhan won't be able to come as they are busy somewhere. Mom will come with us. It's good to see that you got married. Seeing you that day I also was troubled for two days. Father is really an important person in one's life," murmured Xian.

"Hmm. Dad wished to marry me but I never agreed to him. At the last moment he told me to marry Xia and now I feel that I should've married earlier. At least my father would be with me," muttered Yuwan.

"But he's happy now. Don't think about this...I mean…"

"Ah..I understand. Well, when you two are getting married? Only a few days have remained for this month," said Yuwan.

"Next week. We both have decided to marry on Wednesday," replied Xian. Yuwan smiled hearing his answer.

"It's good. Finally Mishi is getting married to a man for whom she used to cry. Don't make her cry anymore. Love her in a most gentle way. Well, I gave her a leave so that she could spend time with her siblings. She always does work with less leave," stated Yuwan. Xian laughed hearing him.

"Well, you're saying true. I won't let that happen," murmured Xian. The two talked for a while and then Yuwan left from there.

"She didn't tell me that she's at home. I should call her," thought Xian and took out the phone from his pocket. He dialled Mishi's number and she picked her call in the first ring.

"I'm watching a movie with CC. Let's talk later," said Mishi on the phone and was going to hang up when Xuan said, "at least listen to me."

"Hmm. Say," said Mishi.

"Yuwan has invited us. When will you arrive there?," asked Xian.

"Uncle- aunt has to leave urgently for the US in the morning so they won't come. Wang Wei is busy shooting, so I'll come with CC," said Mishi.

"So you three are all alone in such a big mansion?," asked Xian.

"What do you mean by alone? Security is there...everything is fine. Xian, let's meet in the evening," saying this Mishi cut the call.

Xian sighed and looked at the screen. "I was going to tell you about your wedding dress. Well, your cousin won't be there so I can be there tonight," murmured Xian and giggled. He looked at the clock and found the time was 4 o'clock.

He picked up his things and then left for Mark's cabinet. From there he left for home with Mark and Yin.

As they reached home, Xian found his mother was talking with someone on the phone in a worried voice. He walked to her and asked why she was looking worried.

"My friend is sick. I've to leave urgently for the other city," stated Biyu. Mark and Yin were also listening to them.

"Let me drop you there. I should be there with you," said Xian.

"No! It's fine. You've to take care of things here too. Your marriage is also coming. I'll come in a day or two, don't worry. I'm going there with my other friend so you don't have to worry," said Biyu looking at them.

"Okay, then I should book a taxi for you," said Mark.

"Mark it's fine. She has already booked everything. Just carry this bag with me till her house," said Biyu.

"Of course mom," said Xian and told Mark and Yin to go in. Mark hugged her mother and told her to have a safe journey. Yin told the same and then Xian left with her mother from there.

"Let's go in. We have to go to Yuwan's house too," said Mark. Yin nodded and they both walked inside the house. Yin went inside her room and after freshening up changed to a simple navy blue one piece, off shoulder dress . She flung her hair open with slight curls.

She put a red lipstick and then looked at herself in the mirror. "Thanks for giving yourself a chance," said a voice and it was Mark. Yin immediately got up from the small chair and turned to look at him.

"Sorry! The door was open so I didn't knock," said Mark and came inside, stopping a few centimeters away from her. "You're looking pretty," Mark complimented her. Yin thanked him and smiled.

Mark put his palm forward. "A pendant?," asked Yin. Mark nodded and said, "I made it specially for you." He then stepped forward and put it around her neck. He then leaned back, adjusted the pendant and looked into her eyes.

"Thanks. I liked this," said Yin, looking at the pendant. Mark thanked her for giving him a chance too. Yin kept the smile on her lips and then raised herself on the toes, kissing him lightly on the lips.

Mark was startled by her act but then he put his one arm around her waist, pulling her up. The other hand he put on her face and then kissed her. The kiss was light but then it was demanding. They resisted each other for such a long time but today they couldn't. Yin put her hands into Mark's hair, pulling him more closer to her.

They kept kissing each other till they ran out of oxygen. Gasping the air, they both looked into each other's eyes and then smiled.
